Before: Girls going nose-to-nose at first photo shoot - Chloe all aggressive grins, challenging eyes; Holt pouting and glaring - furious with Bennet's brazen 'tude. "This girl is infuriating," Claire affirms at podium. "She snacks upon Leann Rimes, then has the gall to call me out? Along with every other strong name in the class? Ridiculous. Chloe Bennet is just another laughable self-promoter who will find that talking her way into the ring is much, MUCH easier than fighting her way out again!"

Bennet breezy with press, taunting with her rival...Chloe's a girl with an obvious affinity for spotlight. "Holt was always at the top of my list," Bennet smiles in prefight. "She's basically a swing-and-pray slugger, but she's got the heaviest hands in the division, and dropping her onto her butt puts the entire CW bloc on notice. Claire probably thought she'd have a lot longer on top, but WELP: I'm here now and everyone's just going to have to adjust their expectations accordingly!"

Bennet sponges a terrific beating, employing desperation clinches to slow blonde aggression. Bell to bell Holt: she pushes up off tender and shaky Chloe - blonde forcing bruising eye-contact on her brunette, searching for quit.

R2: Chloe still hurt, attempting to rally...she shows the southpaw front (right shoulder/foot forward), pivoting to her right, prodding Holt's jugs the right jab. Claire rushing in, tasting Chloe's poke, then embracing her...blonde girl riding her left arm around brunette shoulders, punching Chloe right hands tummy and tits. Bennet accommodates - riding her right arm round Claire's lower back...Chloe feeding Claire left hands as girls push and stumble about in the wrap. Bruising, bitter fare at the closest of quarters: Chloe's left hand vs Claire's right. Squirming, shoving stuff - girls employing the one free hand to block; push at the opponent's shoulder to open the torso; punch. Fighters crowding and nuzzling in the wrap - each trying to jam in a scoring blow, then smother the receipt...leads to a non-stop struggle, body to body. Claire ekes out savagely close points late, using her right hand to push at Chloe's face, then shoving the right hand home to gut...Bennet grunting, cringing, unable to answer tit for tat at bell.

R3: More hard fighting toe to toe. Claire stepping in close with a lead left uppercut to set the table: she's landing it, hurting Chloe with it, putting Bennet on the defensive. Leads to grim struggle along ring aprons - Chloe crouching forward off ropes, pate to pate with Holt. Claire bouncing thick, succulent right hands off Bennet's body, then clubbing her hooks...Holt thick and thumping with every shot. Chloe punching back short, straight left/right patterns, banging away tits and face in spots. Chloe's curvy legs absorb the power, but she's tender, grimacing with hurt at bell: Holt snarling, feeling her oats...she's hitting Bennet her hardest shots through 3.

R4: Another step-in lead left uppercut kisses off Chloe's chin, loosening her knees, putting her wobbly butt: Holt's in charge yet again. Claire systematic, grinding on follow up - feeding Chloe that thudding roundhouse right to body, then chopping hooks for clean up. Bennet staggering under the weight of shot - reeling into ropes, stumbling along ring aprons, stubborn brunette refusing to take a knee under blonde bombardment. Down the stretch, Claire's fury abates: Chloe able to fit short left hooks to chin off the ropes, ringing Claire up. Holt snarling, determined, but getting outhit late: Chloe chopping away tidy lefts and rights, scoring up the middle to bell.

R5: Bennet comes out in sturdy, crouching configuration - conventional front. Bennet keeping right at her cheek, pumping out the double jab, stepping in close, then hopping to her right, hooking Claire sharply from the oblique angle. Spicy, compact stuff from Chloe effective - hop-and-hook routine scoring repeatedly to Claire's chin. Holt punched onto her heels at times, but still sturdy - she's recovering well, keeping hands up, trying to front on Chloe and beat her down in trade. Bennet's footwork prevails...hop-and-hook proving a round-winning strategy as Claire can't negotiate terms.

R6: Bennet comes out southpaw - still compact and dukes-up, but right foot forward. Chloe drop-chopping the right jab/slotting straight lefts to Claire's mouth...blonde girl blinking, on her heels as Chloe taps away with authority. Holt adjusts by rushing in to wrap left arm around Chloe's shoulders...leads to bruising righty vs lefty punch-n'-tuck as Bennet rides her right arm round Claire's lower back. Chloe getting the better of it - burying her face in left side of Claire's neck; placing left hand inside Claire's right shoulder...they'll waltz around like that until Chloe wants to pump the left hand into tummy or tits. Claire frustrated - strong enough to co-exist with Chloe in the wrap, but getting outsmarted as Bennet grinds out points.

R7: Bennet turns conventional - left foot forward: she's back to the double-jab approach/hop-and-hook routine. Claire getting touched up - really eating those hooks from the oblique angle outside her left shoulder...Bennet starting to smile, getting her buns and back into harder blows. Midway through, Holt finally staggers out of orbit from a clouting hook to chops...blonde girl blinking, wobbly-butt, stabilizing herself at ropes. Claire forms rigid earmuff, stooping forward as Chloe wades in: withering beatdown applied to blonde ribs and lats as Bennet has her way. Chloe with hair in her eyes, helping herself - she's just chopping and belting away to glory with thumbside-up lefts and rights to bell. Upbeat brunette chirps "You feelin' it, Claire?" as ref moves in: Holt cringing, hugging her ribcage, glaring back all resentful and hurt.

R8: Bennet completes her steady come-back, drawing even on the cards with another gritty effort in the trenches. Girls fighting out of the mutual wrap - Holt's left arm round Chloe's shoulders; Bennet's right arm round Holt's lower back. Squirming, stumbling, pushing, punching action - ref close-by, but not issuing breaks as both girls are working. Bitter and close, but Chloe with a knack for establishing position - her left hand inside Claire's right shoulder, or gripping Claire's right bicep, smothering Holt until it's time to fit a punch into her. Claire whining, trying to spin Chloe round and ragdoll her, but Bennet's sturdy legs holding firm. At the bell, Chloe's face is buried in Claire's neck; Chloe's left hand just pump-pump-pumping at tummy for precious points.

R9: Chloe comes out orthodox, looking to work her hop-and-hook: Claire ruins the plans with a thudding jab square to face, knocking Chloe's head back, then shoving a hateful right square to rack. Chloe belted off-balance, forced to ropes: Claire able to square up, bash away toe-to-toe. Thumping consistency from Holt: knuckles together at chest, she'll work blunt, slamming lefts and rights - beating Chloe's arms and lats, numbing the torso. Bennet gasping, shocked by the power...she's absorbing wallop, then pushing at Holt's torso, trying to back her off. TOO MUCH CLAIRE! Holt re-asserting herself with a vengeance...she maintains top-position at ropes, punishing Chloe without subtlety or remorse. Bell: Chloe's curvy legs once again hold her up, but she's swaying on the spot, glassy-eyed, open-mouthed. Holt smoldering, pushing an extra right forearm into Chloe's breasts cheap and late, bringing ref in hot.

R10: Bennet still wobbly-butt, but pushing forward early - jabbing at Claire's raised guard, then hooking her tummy. Holt standing strong, dropping jabs down from her brow...she's knocking heavily at Chloe's face, dazing her. By the minute mark, Holt's slowly going over to offence - stepping in that grazing lead left uppercut, getting Chloe on the backfoot, then belting her heavy right/lefts until Bennet retreats. Holt punching Chloe to ropes again: Bennet firming, working out of a bobbing earmuff...job of work for Holt to reduce her brunette as Chloe's tanned thighs are trembling. Bennet well protected - hands at cheeks, elbows in, but Holt's thudding authority numbs brunette regardless. Claire bouncing hands off head/guard/shoulders/lats, then opening up with wider lefts or rights, taking Chloe in behind either elbow. Bennet battered into submission: brunette too strong to go down, but too hurt to answer back...it's Claire on Chloe violence to bell. Decision comes back close but firm: UD10 Claire Holt.

AFter: Chloe stunned, bruised, tender as Claire's fist is raised...lovely brunette absorbed crashing wallop to fight her way back to par through 8, only to see Holt catch a second wind and pull away over the last 2 heats. "Chloe sent a message to the CW bloc all right," Claire snarks, refusing to acknowledge Chloe's effort on the evening. "The message is that Chloe is wide open and vulnerable - go right at her girls, and finish her up! Obviously, Chloe tasted power she'd never before imagined tonight. I could see in her eyes how shocked she was - she couldn't believe it was just one girl hitting her! Now she knows, and hopefully there'll be a little less mouth from her. This is still very much the Claire Holt era at bantamweight, and I don't see Chloe changing that!"
