Vanessa White thinks she's the best flyweight fighter from the Saturdays band, something that Mollie King would perhaps argue with, but while King has her sights set on Victoria Justice next month, White jumps in for a chance against the vastly experienced former S Club 7 blonde Hannah Spearritt whose career derailed after she almost suffered a broken jaw against Geri Halliwell two years ago.

'

Spearritt tried to come back during last year's Boxing Day PPV but got pummelled into submission by another veteran, Dannii Minogue, and has gone AWOL for twelve months again. But now she returns and vows to shatter Vanessa to revive her boxing career; Denise van Outen points out at her height and reach advantage to go with the experience factor but if White wants to land some high-profile bouts next year she really needs to take Hannah to the cleaners tonight.

Hannah Spearritt wearing a silver bikini and red gloves. Vanessa White wearing a black bikini top, white knickers and red gloves.

Round 1:
Vanessa stalks the blonde early and swings menacingly around her head but Hannah stands tall and responds over the top, flicks couple of jabs between the mitts and snaps the younger singer's head back to settle into mid-range assault as she blocks Whte's efforts through the opening round and lands single hand on the head to establish full control. Vanessa's quick on her feet but only grazes the blonde's forearms and as she tries to jump at her more aggressively gets caught with a cross hook on the cheek, eats a follow up uppercut on the chin and must retreat towards the ropes but the blonde doesn't chase her down, even with all that experience Spearritt's been out of the ring for twelve months and doesn't want to underestimate her rival's potential at this stage of the fight.

Round 2:
White still seeks some breakthrough as she ducks underneath Spearritt's hooks, tries to send jabbing assault on the ribcage but gets clobbered with a quick overhand on the nose and must cover up as Hannah follows up over the top and wobbles her head back shoving the gloves into Vanessa's face. She wants to slice them apart to score more noteworthy damage but White jumps away to safety and prepares another charge of her own, grazes the blonde's temple but opens up too much and endures her boobs rocking up & down as Spearritt pours in with a series on the chest, more speed from the blonde now as she reels White back to the ropes and jabs at her from point blank range, clips the temple and finds an uppercut on the jaw that throws the Saturdays girl sagging on the spot, more facial leather follows and Vanessa moans in pain in the final minute as Hannah trapped her for good and sliced through the guard far too often, signs off the round with a big left hook on the eye that bend the younger girl to the side and it's a much welcomed return to some poper boxing from the blonde that earns Denise van Outen's praise in the booth.

Round 3:
Vanessa's really annoyed about the way Hannah's settled into this bout and leaps after her with immediate jabbing assault, manages to catch the blonde on the chin and work on her tummy thereafter but Spearritt responds with more overhand leather, spikes White on the eye and shows more aggression as she whacks her on the temple to spin Vanessa to the side. Left hook nails Spearritt on the jaw though and the Saturdays girl refuses to give up the fight, finds couple of uppercuts bouncing off the blonde's boobs but Hannah leans on her and slams a right hook on the mouth as both girls engage in a flurry of punches to raise the Manchester crowd on their feet. White leans on the blonde, reverts into punhsing her tummy but eats a series of jabs on the eye and must cover up late in the going as Spearritt dominates the last few seconds punching her foe back to the ropes even if Vanessa's guard stays in tact and prevents significant damage to her otherwise pretty face.

Round 4:
Hannah works the single hand over the top and takes control early in the fourth again, Vanessa just can't hurt the blonde and knows it, makes some angry noises hoping to turn it around somehow but is forced to cover up in the middle of the ring instead as Spearritt cracks her on the right eye with a double overhand and drops low on the tummy with a drilling attack. White leaps back towards the ropes and almost loses her footing, has to accept more blonde punishement on the tummy as Spearritt seeks ultimate prize and has the younger singer butt-in-ropes and turning her breadbasket into a mush with a sudden shift of work-rate. Vanessa tries to clinch her but gets whipped back over the ropes with a fine uppercut, Hannah finds another one and doesn't let her off the hook, throws more overhands and snaps White's head back repeatedly in the final minute, that's a really bitter pillow for all the Saturdays' fans gathered in Manchester as Vanessa left on soft legs at the bell and nursing a small cut under the right eye.

Round 5:
More methodical performance from the blonde girl, slicing White's guard aside in the middle of the ring and working on that wounded eye. But even though Hannah dominates the action, she can't find that big punch to send her opponent down for the count yet. Vanessa tried to bide some time but can't find the superior footwork anymore and has to cover up as Spearritt scores all the hits, slices the mitts again in the second minute and snaps her head back as couple of big shots on the mouth give Vanessa a fat lip and more misery. Spearritt just pours in over the top thereafter, has the younger singer sagging on the ropes in the final minute again and soaking up more midsection assault, drilling single hands take the breath out of White's lungs and she's gasping for air at the bell with Hannah dismantling her one piece after another.

Round 6:
Vanessa's really slow on her feet now and just falls into more Hannah attacks seconds into the sixth, her head snapping backwards repeatedly under the barrage and the blonde just ups the tempo, turns the Saturdays girl into a mediocre punchbag and splits her lower lip for good half-way through the round. White's moaning in pain and only trying to clinch her nemesis but Hannah sells her a series of gutwrenchers and bends her in half, cracks a left uppercut on the nose AND SENDS VANESSA TUMBLING FLAT ON HER BACK to finally underline her domiance with a knockdown. Vanessa needs some time before recovering, beats the count at eight but doesn't look all that feisty anymore and saoks up more facial punishment as Spearritt reels her back to the ropes with ease and works on the wounded eye. By the time she's finished, White's arms drop to the side alltogether and the proud brunette's lumped up badly with the gash starting to impale her vision; Hannah just enjoys this sight and woks single hand to snap her foe's head back at will but she should really be thinking about finishing Vanessa off rather than just adding more cuts on her face.

Round 7:
There's nothing left in Vanessa's tank and she can barely hold her arms high enough to protect herself, manages to block off the initial charge but then Hannah slams more shots on the navel and whips overhand counter moments later to spin the brunette to the side... another jabbing combo follows and it's just rearranging Vanessa's face as she can't fight any resistance and trips over onto the ropes and sags on her knees as Hannah pours in with more facial assault, works the single hand on the wounded eye; when finally White's head drops between the shoulders, the ref comes to her rescue and drags the vicious blonde away before she can punch Vanessa into the orbit... TKO7 Hannah Spearritt!!!

AFTER: That was a really mean display from the blonde singer who dismantled Vanessa's prospects taking all six rounds before the ineviteable stoppage happened in the seventh. And the former S Club 7 girl vows to beat up more Saturdays members in her post-fight interview with Denise van Outen as she threatens to disfigure Mollie King's face given the chance. Something tells the Manchester crowd this fight will happen sometime next year and while Vanessa White must be escorted back to the locker room by Frankie Sandford for medical evaluation the Boxing Day PPV is already turning into a vicious galore with all the three winners really dishing out some heavy punishment to the losers. And it's set to resume soon considering Lily Allen's twitter rage in recent weeks.

Final result: Hannah Spearritt def. Vanessa White TKO7.
