Before: Pfeiffer crashing the party, enters a smaller dog than anticipated following her 3 round annihilation of ex-champ Milano. Ledford with more variety, and a headier fighter than Alyssa -remains to be seen if she can resist the temptation to walk through her slighter foe. Michelle in black bikini top, black nylon jogging shorts, ponytail - Brandy in orange bikini top, black nylon jogging shorts.

During R1: Ledford trying to pull short hooks and uppercuts from the left side, but Pfeiffer crowding, stepping over to her right side stays outside of the blows. Michelle using the angle, often holding Brandy's left at her chest to dig at the blonde's taut side with nuisance right hands. Pfeiffer outmaneuvering a cautious Brandy Ledford for a shutout.

R2: Michelle still stepping to her right, crowding and turning Brandy to neutralize that left hand, and dousing the blonde with quick fisted combinations from the sheer angle. Ledford taking a lot of shots as she tries to square up and late in the round, she turns into a short right hand on the button which lifts her lead leg off the canvas. Pfeiffer doing it with brains, now doing it with pop as she backs Ledford up late to take the second.

R3: Michelle out fighting, shows that blitzkrieg look and catches Brandy flat footed. Lefts and rights to the body, the step to the right, then snapping combinations to the head as Ledford follows, covers up desperately. All Pfeiffer, keeping her mitts on Brandy, slapping to set up the money right hands, and late in the round, she pounds away at a hunched over Brandy, holding her by the shoulder and leaning into short right hands on the ear that seem to have Ledford frozen. AND LEDFORD GOES DOWN! Michelle bending to catch Brandy on the eye as the blonde sways on all fours - ref jumps in as Ledford staggers to her feet at the bell.

R4: Brandy busted up from the late swipe, using her own legs to make Pfeiffer react and the fight opens up this round as Michelle eats jabs while looking to slug. Ledford circling on the outside, often bailing and hopping into open space as Pfeiffer becomes the stalker. Default round to Michelle but Brandy brings both women's punch output down in an attempt to restart the fight.

R5: Ledford now dictating with the stick and move - she's the boxer, Michelle incredibly the puncher as the girls circle midring. Pfeiffer looking to trade, but Ledford ducking in with the jab, rocking Michelle's face back and slipping away. By the final minute, Ledford able to put that chopping right hand to work on Michelle's torso, just landing the jab and right hand before backing off. Pfeiffer slowing visibly, reacting rather than initiating as she takes a breather.

R6: Brandy with good smacking work to Michelle's hips, but midway through the round, both girls opening up, and Pfeiffer lands a vicious 3 punch combo to the face to buffet Brandy from one foot to the other. Ledford hurt, standing in front of Pfeiffer and Michelle pours it on with wide lefts and rights - excellent job by Brandy to turn and take the punches on her shoulders or tightly held guard. By the final minute, Pfeiffer's backing off, arms shot as Brandy walks her down, looking downstairs for that short hook to the liver.

R7: Brandy's pressure now collapsing Michelle to the ropes as Ledford works patiently with sniping shots to the waist. Pfeiffer open mouthed, starting to stumble as she slides from turnbuckle to turnbuckle, but missing tiredly as the compact Ledford turns her shoulders into withering body shots. Down the stretch, Ledford crosses Michelle up, bending into a curling right hand on the jaw that spills Michelle to the ropes, and Ledford pounces. Lefts spank hard across the gut while rights chop down Michelle's guard. Pfeiffer in trouble, getting battered, and a single left hook bounces hard against her liver to end her night. Pfeiffer drops to her haunches in evident pain, clutching herself as she leans against the corner and the ref waves this off. KO7 Brandy Ledford.

After: Same game plan, but Michelle couldn't pile on enough hurt to discourage Brandy who had the sense and ability to draw the spirited Pfeiffer past the halfway point. Youth is served -Ledford unifies the flyweight belts on the backs of Anderson, Milano, and Pfeiffer, and looks ahead to bigger and better things.
