Before: Demi buffing herself into the best shape of her career, looking Striptease tight and absolutely punishing sparring partners in training seems to have recaptured her prime for this fight. Bell mouthing all the right things in pre-fight, showing plenty of respect for Demi's past accomplishments without being fawning - she knows she's the favourite. Electric blue bikini Bell, Orange beach volleyball bikini for Demi, hair loose and long.

During R1: Tough talking Demi circumspect early, dancing and testing Bell's feet more than her chin. Cat stalking, poking the jab pockets an easy shutout as Demi takes a look-see.

R2: Shutout Moore as she makes her diagnosis. Demi's recipe: lots of slashing in and out movement, daring Bell's jab and banging HARD single shots to those big blue clad jugs. Cat looking a little unsettled - jugs take a beating this round and Moore's legs look 5 years younger tonight.

R3: Demi still dictating, leaping in and landing looping right hands - BELL IS HURT! Cat catching a glancing blow on her temple comes up lame and Demi pours it on - bashing short lefts and rights chase Bell ropeside - Cat with her guard high - Demi squaring up, chicken winging the left against Bell's torso to measure, then snapping off hurtful body work behind the elbows. Cat numbing up from the waist down as Moore lays down the law - shutout Demi.

R4: Cat trying to re-work the jab, but Moore rolling, jumping in from weird angles, taking risks to land heavy lead rights, stepping away with a whippy armed left hook from the waist. Bell lumping up and discouraged after 4 - Moore's beating her to the punch and starting to talk during the rounds.

R5: OH CAT BELL! Demi with her hands down, taunting early - Bell lopes in, touches left, CRACKS right to send Moore reeling to the ropes to open the round. Bell turning puncher, looms over the hunched up Moore, lashing loose limbed lefts and rights against the brunette's ribs - Demi trembling through the middle minute as Cat patiently steps with her and applies the hurt. Down the stretch - Moore on rubber legs, desperately leans into the ropes to slip, but Cat's whipping left hook catches chin and leaves Moore helpless. Cat propping Demi up with the left elbow, comes over with a slicing right on the mouth and DOWN GOES DEMT! Bell sounds to save Demi who climbs the ropes in shock - Bell stomping to her corner as the crowd roars.

R6, 7: Demi's legs don't come back - Bell's primary mission accomplished. Fight now favours Cat - mid ring, medium distance - Bell spanking Moore's face shiny with pulping jabs, straight right hands - Demi reaching with her punches, coming up short more often than not as Cat's height, reach start to tell.

R8: Demi gambling early, sweeping overhand rights and lefts, bending low on follow through -Bell momentarily confused backs straight up and fields a shattering left hand wide to her jaw. Sweat flies - Bell lolling helplessly on the ropes covers up and gives Demi her midsection as Moore wades in desperate to finish. Cat badly hurt, legs out wide, butt on the ropes, lays in and trades grimly - taking short chopping blows on the sides of her chin, but giving as good as she gets to the bell. Moore shaking her head in frustration en route to her corner - Bell getting attention to a rapidly swelling right eye.

R9: Bell's jab starting to bust Demi up - Moore getting hit as she starts to react late to the incoming. Demi with good work during the middle minute, dipping her shoulder and clubbing Bell's breasts raw with left hooks, but down the stretch Cat steps back and nails Demi a beautiful right hand on the chin coming in - Moore nearly sinking to a knee covers up crippled to the bell as Cat bodies up to lash body shots.

R10: Both girls looking shopworn, puffy faced - shoulder to shoulder mid ring hooks are traded in a series of even exchanges, but it's Demi emerging the stronger girl down the stretch. Fighting off Cat's chest, Moore puts together a tired assault to the bell, beating Cat's stomach with swiping lefts and rights, pushing the hips back as Bell leans forward. Decision comes back - Single point unanimous duke Cat Bell.

After: Demi, swollen eyed can't believe the call. Cat looking to give a comforting hug in the ring is shocked as Moore shoves her away, bitter tears starting to roll. Moore era comes to an end as she fails to win yet another big fight in the new millennium - starts to get written off by hard-hearted pundits as yesterday's champion. Still, punishing bout for Bell saw her take plenty of abuse, including the best left hand Demi's maybe ever thrown in the 8th.
