BEFORE: The Foxfire 4 seated to the left of the podium; the PLP seated to the right - team captains Laura Vandervoort and Troian Bellisario make their presentations.

As Laura takes the podium, an audio-visual presentation plays in silence behind her, showing the PLP in moments of heartbreaking defeat. Troian succumbing to Markle's body-lather. Lucy choking back tears as Rachel Bilson's hand is raised. Benson and Mitchell taking punches, breaking down.

"Anyone who watched Mumford/Mitchell at the last PPV knows a message was being sent," Laura says at podium. "Eloise was hurt, helpless. Shay had the choice to ease off the gas and let the ref come in, but instead? She poured it on. No punches coming back, and there's Shay - belting away - trying to get our attention. Mission accomplished; message received. Here we are.

We've been trainers, mentors, confidantes - even sisters to these girls. Hayden's worked with all the smaller fighters, but because of her special bond with Clare on Nashville, Lucy and Ashley have let petty jealousy cloud their judgments. Sarah Carter has worked so hard with Troian, coaxing the lanky talent out of Bellisario, nurturing it, showing her the best way to use her edginess in and out of the ring. And Shay. How I've worked with Shay. It's not easy being so much prettier than your peers - the hatred that inspires...but I've been through all that, and I've done my share of hand-holding with this girl when it's all been too much for her.

First chance she got? Shay leapt at the chance to fight me. Guess when you look around and there's only one girl who's prettier than you, the temptation to go after her is stronger than any sense of obligation.

These girls have asked for this. They've been pushing for this - making it so there was no other response. So now we're gonna take it to 'em - teachers on students - and their gonna go to school like they never have before. Four-and-oh, baby. We're sweeping the ring with these girls."

Troian collecting herself at podium once Laura's vacated - drinking bottled water - pausing as an audio-visual display plays on the screen behind her. It's footage of Foxfire/PLP training drills. There's Troi holding her own with Sarah in the clinch as the girls trade bony knees to lithe bodies. Lucy jamming Clare back into turnbuckles during a game of posts - smothering the blonde's escape attempts, getting the three count, then slamming home an extra forearm shot to jug in celebration. Shay hip-tossing Eloise hard to a mat, pinning her, then slamming the mat with her right hand close to Mumford's head while shouting hot in blonde's shellshocked face. Benson pushing Dani Harris out of a wrestling-mat circle as both camps cheer around the perimeter. On and on: PLP girls aggressively going at Foxfire women in all manner of sporting contests.

"We don't want people to think we're ungrateful," Troian says in rebuttal, dark eyes flashing. "This is not the betrayal that Ms. Vandervoort would have you believe. Yes, they've done a lot for us, but that doesn't entitle them to think of us as the Junior B squad. We would have their backs if say, HISC was causing trouble - they know that. But that doesn't mean that we're not a stand-alone stable with our own goals and aspirations. We don't stand aside for Foxfire: we stand BESIDE them, and when it comes to competition in the ring? We take from them, just like we would from anyone.

And Laura has a lot of gall using Eloise against us. Against Shay. Who was it who taught us all to finish fights with 'beach ferocity'? Who was it who told us to never let up - to punch harder at the first sign of weakness? Yeah, that's right: Laura Vandervoort hammered home that lesson to us. If she had been fighting Eloise and Mumford went limp against the ropes, you can bet your last nickle that Laura would have piled on. It's just typical of her to try to paint us as the bad guys, when SHE'S the one who made us this way!

We respect these girls, but they are NOT going to sweep us. Take a good look at the images behind me. Their bodies aren't magically better or stronger than ours. They're not tougher, or smarter. They make us better and we make THEM better. We kick their butts all the time, and we're going to compete in that ring and if they don't know that going in? We just might shock the world, guys."
