Before: Liu tuning up for a potential showdown with Carmen Electra—Bibb a challenger on paper at least with significant height and reach advantages. Lucy looking to get in round—hasn’t been as active as Carmen lately and doesn’t want to risk being rusty—Leslie flat out looking to win, knows an upset here would be tremendous for her rep, Leslie in thin strap powder blue sports bra, aerobics bottoms, Liu in black sports bra, red aerobics bottoms, slick ponytail.

During R1: Bibb with that rigid stance, elbows in hands at waist level, feet far apart, Liu loping around outside, circling then leaping in—so hard to judge distance with Lucy and Bibb gets clocked repeatedly as the Asian’s slinging hard right hands to the body and head, then escapes before receipt. Leslie on her heels, clearly rattled and a little wobbly—Liu getting it down with single shot power to buff up her fresh faced blonde opponent.

R2: Liu settling down, fighting flat footed, easily bending low to slip punches and tap back with sneaky lead rights or wide sweeping lefts to the body. Bibb trying to take Lucy with that jerking uppercut off her hip, fights in spots, but Liu basically having her way.

R3: Bibb starting to jab more—and it’s effective if not damaging. Liu forced back outside, slipping and circling away as Bibb snaps the left hand out from the waist. Lucy trying to open up new angles, but she’s pre-occupied with the stick, swatting it out of the air before it can touch her face. Bibb on board as she moves Lucy around the ring.

R4: Liu lunging in early, and Bibb with pivot, clips the right uppercut to the teeth, wobbling Lucy—blonde steps left, clips the left uppercut to the chin and LUCY IS HURT! Liu stumbling forward as Bibb continues to pivot to her left or right and jerk pinpoint uppercuts in between Liu’s wide swipes—Lucy tumbling forward face first to the ropes looks shot! Middle minute sees Bibb working Lucy in the corner—tall girl on wide spread feet, touching with the jab, poking in the right, rocking back into her right foot to make Lucy miss, then sweeping back in with sticking rights, snapping lefts—Liu getting touched up as she bends and rolls. Down the stretch, Bibb double pumping a lanky left hook into Lucy’s side. And Liu gambles with a looping right hand hard to the trunks, olut her shoulder into Bibb, and comes up again with a wide right hand clap to the jaw and LESLIE GOES DOWN! Bibb on her backside, and Liu’s momentum carries her over the blonde—Lucy inadvertently trampling the blonde to the canvas as she stumbles past. Wild fourth stolern by Liu as Bibb is helped to her corner at the bell.

R5,6: Cautious shutouts from Liu who lets her legs do the talking these rounds. Bibb just not able to cut off the ring—reduced to timing Liu’s rushes—but Lucy doing very little offensively, just enough to score, then opening up the floor, hands at her side, easily ducking and swerving away from Bibb’s punches.

R7: Liu still well outside, very few punches from either girl as Lucy refuses to take chances. Bibb touching Liu with a few long jabs, but Liu able to land some running right hands to the pit of the stomach pockets another round.

R8: Shutout Liu—crowd restless as Lucy dances and showboats—moving beautifully, but not even trying to hurt Bibb. Leslie trying to walk Liu down, but the constant direction changes, coupled with supple upper body undulation from Liu are mesmerizing. Liu lifting a few shots from her knees into Bibb’s tummy and jaw, but not setting down enough to get Leslie in trouble.

R9: Liu in total command of the ring—Bibb having to reach just to score with the jab—Lucy landing the heavier shots, but one at a time, content to pocket points and outclass the opposition.

R10: Lucy now closing distance, staying low, weaving her upper body and finally committing to those explosive uppercuts and sweeping left hooks as Bibb looks to slug. Liu weaving her head around Leslie’s hips, has the blonde shortening up and trying to make contact with little chopping strokes—midway through the round. Liu counters with a wide left hook on the jaw that swivels Leslie’s head and puts her down in a hurry. Bibb glassy eyed, beats the count and continues to press. Liu fading back, snaking her upper body back and forth, touching the blonde with the left and walking Bibb into a crushing overhand right from the hip. Lucy stepping right as Leslie buckles, whips over the top with another crashing right and Bibb is swept to her hands and knees for the second time. All Lucy Liu to the final minute as she torments her hurting opponent, standing in front with hands down, daring Leslie to strike, and countering mercilessly with showy straight arm lefts and rights to the face. Bibb staggering at the bell as Lucy lifts her mitts and nods—UD10 Lucy Liu.

After: Bibb putting the fear of God into Lucy with a gutty effort, but straight up Leslie’s legs just couldn’t take Liu’s crunching power as the Asian records 3 knockdowns. Liu simply ring generalling Leslie to defeat in the second half, Bibb landing punches in only 2 of the final 18 minutes and nearly getting whacked in the 10^th—effective dominance from Lucy if not bell to bell action throughout.
