Before: You don’t usually go to the fitness ranks for a confidence builder, but that’s what Team Richards is doing, hoping that Lynn’s raw style and relative inexperience will make her vulnerable. Stacey trying ti shake that poor man’s Trish stratus label, eager to make a statement, and hungrier than you’d like in a tune up. Pressure on Richards to make some sort of statement in this bout—career needs to find a pulse. Blue bikini top, grey draw string shorts for Denise, yellow sports bra, black nylon shorts for Stacy—messy ponytails for both.

During R1: D showing a nice pool stick in the eye jab early, stabbing at Stacey’s available face and knocking back the blonde’s head with authority. Lynn slugging wide with wrap around lefts and rights—Richards doing a nice job of stepping in and out between the blows,

R2: Lynn up tempoing, missing wildly, but catching Richards unprepared with the comeback swipe. Lefts and rights pile up, D getting tagged hard across the jaw, backs to the ropes and lifts her mitts to her temples. War breaks out as Stacey muscles up, heaving in wide lefts and rights to the waist—Richards staying calm, rolling with punches and hacking short counters in between. Late in the round, D scores some sweet short left hooks on the chin, perfectly timing Lynn’s swings—blonde’s head cranks back as she corkscrews with flailing right hands that miss.

R3: Lynn maintaining pressure, marching on the brunette, winging away and breaking Denise down this round with sheer volume. Richards getting banged up in heavy trade, steps away with her hands down and Lynn cracks her a looping right hand on the jaw to drape the brunette on the ropes. Denise in trouble, legs shot, but once again does the right thing with her back to the ropes, Lynn pressing to finish, gets picked apart as she swings away, wide open for Denise’s disciplined counters in close. Lynn’s round, but Richards gets out if it in better shape than she should have.

R4: Richards getting back on top with the jab, pounding it to Stacey’s eyes and breast—Lynn shutting down, looks discouraged as Richards gets off from outside.

R5: Richards hooking off the jab, and the fight starts to get easy. Denise knocking back Stacey’s head, then double pumping the hook to the midsection has Lynn floundering. Stacey looking glossy, punished—isn’t reacting well, defense is a shambles as Richards picks her apart.

R6: Lynn coming out full bore, stepping and slugging with wild lefts and rights—Richards can’t answer, but she’s stepping back in good order, moving her head, slipping most if the leather, Midway through the round—Lynn still coming on strong—Richards fades back half a step to slip Stacey’s wild left, then steps back to NAIL. Lynn a sharp left hook on the jaw. Lynn caught in a parallel stance, scoots to her butt and looks shopworn, hurt as she gets slowly to her feet, Denise pouncing, feeds Lynn jabs to the out the blonde in a corner, then it’s a beat down. Denise in a wide stance, letting her hands go, digging to the blonde’s ribs and cracking that jaw with slicing hooks and THE REF JUMPS IN! Richards steps away then leaps for joy as Lynn slumps on the turnbuckle, eyes swimming. TKO6 Denise Richards,

After: Denise answers the call, outclassing a game, but amateurish Lynn and finishing like a pro. With time to execute, Denise showed a spearing jab and slick, slinging hook, not to mention great footwork in one if her most complete performances.
