BEFORE: Kelly/Dobrev put together as the brunette answer to Michalka/Cassidy...sense of a new 'brat pack' emerging at bantam as new pairings crystallize. "I do get the sense that the four of us - along with McCord and a couple others - will probably be at each other's throats for some time," Nina speculates in prefight. "In the end though, I see me using Minka to get at the choice fights. She's a means to an end for me - nothing more." Kelly non-plussed: high-hand from Nina chafes pretty Minka. "Dobrev's got some hard lessons coming," Minka promises. "In the first place - she's fragile; I'm solid: she's not going to enjoy trading with me. I commit whole-heartedly to my punches - can Nina say the same? I don't think so. It's going to be ME moving on while Nina stalls out. I see her fighting 'losers bracket' fights for the most part, not championship stuff." Nina in two-toned blue/dark blue bikini; white gloves; lush hair dark, long, loose. Minka in bright neon blue bikini top/yellow bottoms; scrappy ponytail with bangs framing face; white gloves.

During R1: Nina snarling - hands up/elbows out to the sides...she's prodding out the jab from high-elbow position, looking to jot straight rights. Minka hands up/elbows in - that left hand high at her temple...she's weaving her way in - right foot well behind her as she steps-to, plants on left leg and thrusts out the straight-stamping lead right hand, setting up whistling palm-down hooks up top. Girls startling each other with tart face-punching - spank of it brings applause/hoots of approval from audience. Down the stretch - determined set of straight rights pounds against Nina's breasts, driving her ropeside...she covers up mitts-at-brows, with elbows out wide. Plenty of space for Minka to drive righty up the middle: Kelly in strong planted stance - getting her back and buns into ram-stamping rights straight/flat to Dobrev-jug: Minka's firm backside shuddering side to side as she thrusts these punches in, flattening Nina for points. Bell: Minka hopping away frisky; Nina scowling.

R2: Dobrev first with her jab - halting Minka out at arm's length. Scrubbing, scouring lefts-and-rights in combination pasting away on Minka's defenses, suppressing her as Dobrev sidesteps, keeps her distance. One good shot Nina's getting in: when Minka stoops forward in earmuff - Nina's placing a chunky left hook in tuff to ribs or waist, pivoting-clockwise around the score as Kelly grunts. Another good thing for Neens: when Minka stoops forward, Dobrev will sweep a rangy right hand across Kelly's left hip/lower back, putting a scalded, pursed-lipped expression on Minka's face. Nina keeps it up: classy Dobrev heat sees her turn Minka, potshot her body, turn her, douse her with frisky combos. At the bell, Nina elects to follow through on a slightly late right hand ticketed for breasts, clouting 'em flush as Minka gasps in protest.

R3: Nina jabbing, dropping in the right hand, pivoting left around sticky left hooks in Minka's waist. Kelly undeterred, walking Nina down - locating her chest via straight-stamping right hands, then turning over that swift palm-down hook up top. Dobrev slowly reeled in: as girls close, they trade, lighting each other up tic-tac-toe. Good brisk two-way pasting - gloves bouncing off shapely young bodies, startling pretty faces. Down the stretch, girls trade grazing rights across opposing right cheeks; come-back hooks STIFF to chins...Minka's knees buckle as she goes all wobbly butt and NINA SITS DOWN! Dobrev's torso swinging to her left as her feet stay planted...then her knees give way, putting her on her backside: she's a stunned, blinking beauty all chin-checked and confused. Nina up at 8, but swaying in the wind: sadistic ref backs away, ushering Minka on in. Kelly tight lipped, pushing her way into Nina with both palms extended, bending Dobrev awkwardly over top rope. Swinging right clouts Nina's sleepy face: swinging left gets caught up around her right wrist; another right crashes onto Nina's left ear; another right same place, sitting Dobrev staring in ropes. Minka surprisingly composed here - gloves at her chin, intelligent eyes surveying Nina's plight...then Minka jumps in the left hook off Nina's drowsy face, knocking her head back on loose neck: Dobrev's hands drop to her lap as she tilts/wilts torso-right. TIMBERRR! Minka leaning into right hands, bashing away even as Dobrev's heading down: pretty Nina sprawls, rolls to her back parallel to ropes, chest shuddering, hands above her head as she's all stricken and knocked out. KO3 in feisty fashion - Minka Kelly!

After: Kelly so cute as official verdict is announced: clasping hands together at her chest, wiggling on the spot, shiny face all excited...then a squeal of delight once it's official. "Nina's chinny!" Minka declares, delighted to label her rival. "We were punching and punching, and she caught me a good one, but she couldn't take what she was dishing out. Then, when it was time for her to tuffen up, she just folded! SO cool! Serves her right for being such a cow all the time. I really hope I can get the winner of Michalka/Cassidy - or even McCord if she's willing. Honestly, I feel I'm more than a match for any of them!"
