BEFORE: Upset over one of the best young bantams in boxing puts Frege in with a legend: huge opportunity for French girl to prove Olsen wasn't a fluke. "Yes, I beat Elizabeth, but I cannot let up," Elodie says earnestly at podium. "Putting Olsen into defeat has created opportunity for me. Now I face Jessica Alba and I must summon all that I have to defeat her as well. I am working so hard to make it happen for myself and my fans!"

Alba the favourite and acting like it - she's poo-pooing the notion that Frege's a girl of destiny. "She beat Elizabeth Olsen," Alba smirks with disdain. "I'm Jessica. Alba. Yah - 'that' girl. There's no way on this Earth that some cheap French lounge singer is going to step to Jessica Alba and have success. Yes - heartwarming stuff shocking Lizzie O, but let's get real. I'm going to give Frege what she's used to: a good old fashioned butt-whipping!"

Alba coming in brunette - hair in fighting beach-bun; dark tan; metallic pink bikini; small black gloves. Elodie in neon baby blue bikini; small hot-pink gloves; long blonde hair loose.

During R1: Alba flat-footed, relaxed, right under her chin, left hand pawing...Elodie pours on in! French girl fighting with a determined pout - sweeping an overhand right to chin, turning Jessi's face aside. Alba clubbed out of her stance, stumble-bumming backward...Elodie pouring forward with the success, punching straight left/rights out of hopping pursuit. Ropes: Jessica alarmed, forming face in gloves; Elodia digs a left in under Jessi's right elbow; digs it in again - pink glove beating into Alba's dark-tanned waist. Alba tries a left, but wraps it behind Elodie's head...blonde girl falling in close, left hand pushing Jessica's right bicep, then French fists go on a romp, beating American breasts/face via scrubbing action. ALBA GOES WOBBLY BUTT! ALBA SLUMPS IN ROPES! Frege selling her heart and soul to put a thrashing on Jessica - blonde girl leaning weight forward, baring her teeth, whirling her fists...she's fighting her heart out! Alba overwhelmed, but eventually able to tie up...brunette's eyes all wide and confused as she struggles to hold on for ref's break. That's the gist of it - Frege gambling on hard-hitting, first-punch offence, driving Jess to ropes, then scrounging furiously until Alba can clinch.

R2: Same again! Alba really nonchalant - very upright in her stance, right loose around her chest, left hand just pushing out the jab - like she wants Elodie to stand outside and fight a more methodical, flat-footed boxing match. Frege not accepting terms...she hurtles in with the overhand right, landing hard AGAIN to Jessica's chin...that starts brunette stumbling retreat, which leads to Elodie's desperation slugging from hopping pursuit. Alba hits ropes; Alba covers up face-in-gloves...Frege battering at brunette hips/flanks, then reaching in, pulling apart the defences to romp against breasts/face! Alba clearly not expecting Elodie's commitment...Jessica getting hit hard when she tries to counter off the ropes. Alba wobbly-butt at times, grimacing...she's able to draw Frege into clinches, run the clock, but that's back to back heats for the little-French-singer-that-could!

R3: Alba gets her legs going, shows a little energy...she's fighting her fight midring. Jess still relaxed, but she's rotating clockwise around a flicking up-jab off the hip, picking up the pace as she turns Elodie's right flank. Frege turning-with, hands at eyebrows...she's blocking poke, but looking a little nervous out on the end of Jessi's punches. Alba hard-eyed, tight-lipped, pivoting leggy around that left plant-leg - the left hand keeping Elodie outside; the right hand delivering strikes straight down to tummy, buggywhipping out wide to hip, drifting short to chin off a wide-slapping left hook up top. Bell to bell Jessi A: she treats Elodie to a shutout, restoring order to the universe.

R4: Jess flat-footed midring, showing that pushy left jab, just looking things over, not really on-point...sweeping overhand right kisses HARD off her chin - DROPPING JESS ON HER FACE! Crowd shrieking in shock at the sight of Alba pushing up off her chest all groggy and blinking...Elodie scampering to neutral corner, trying to contain her emotions. Alba beats the count on pride alone - long tanned legs shabby as she sways at ropes for 8. ON COMES ELODIE! Frege sprinting across the ring upon resumption; belting Jess a running right to tits; pushing Jessi's right shoulder with left hand; belting Jess a right to forehead; pushing her upright again; stooping to punch the right hand straight to tummy, sitting Alba in ropes "UH-H!" Jessica distressed, drooping forward behind her mitts, butt-in-ropes. Elodie: butt back; teeth bared; hair wild in her eyes; weight on front (left) leg as the POURS ON THE LEATHER! Jessica: frozen, suffering, mitts bouncing off head and shoulders. Elodie whining with effort, keeping her shots short, just beating her girl with maximum thrash and THE REF STEPS IN! Alba stunned, staring in disbelief...Elodie sprints round the ring with arms in airplane mode, then jumping into the arms of her overjoyed corner-peeps. TKO4 in upset fashion - Elodie freaking Frege!

After: Alba protesting the stoppage all hot-cheeked and outraged with FCBA officials: most over-confident performance of the super-starlet's career costs her dearly tonight. Elodie crying happy tears, hugging ring-visitors like Laetitia Casta and Sophie Marceau...Elodie Frege's suddenly the hottest fighter in boxing with two huge wins back to back! "I am crying," Elodie blubs happily in postfight, wiping fingertips at her cheeks. "Je...I have worked so hard, yes? I have suffered at the fists of many women, but I never quit, inside. Always I am back in the gym and working; always I am getting better. The women who have the stoniest path and the longest road make the hardest fighters!"

Feel-good story unfolding in the ring, but camera catching the non-plussed faces of established imports like Penelope Cruz, Kate Beckinsale and the like...is Elodie Frege actually crashing the import-space at long last?
