Diamond Boxing vs Mirage Boxing

Anne: “I don’t mean any offense. Well, maybe I do but she won’t realize it. This is classic, blonde bimbo of the week type stuff. It’s not her fault. Katrina seems like a nice girl. But promoters and trainers see someone beautiful who looks like this, and they force them into boxing. She’s going to try it for a while, get knocked out left and right by more talented girls like me, then she’ll quit and go back to being professionally pretty. She could save herself a lot of trouble if she just became the ring card girl instead of a boxer. That job might suit you a little better, honey.”
Katrina: “Honestly, the training camp we had about Anne Hathaway was super helpful. I wasn’t familiar with her before, but it looks like her main strategy is lying on her back. I’m sure it’s hard being Catwoman in a movie no one liked. But I saw her in a different movie that will be a lot like tonight. In Les Mis she played a prostitute who lost her teeth. My boxing career was my choice. Nobody forced me into anything. Just like how knocking Anne Hathaway out will be my choice.”

Round 1: Spearing trades at mid-ring from these girls. Katrina is working the straight one two, trying to keep Hathaway on the end of her sword. Anne is forced to work harder to dodge and counter, but she’s landing clean to body and touching up cheek as well. Workmanlike battle plans as both girls seem content to plug away. First girl to change it up is going to take advantage… and It’s Katrina Bowden, stepping in and RIPPING big uppercuts to body, landing to tummy and tit. Hathaway folds in and hangs on to catch her breath bracing herself as those thudding shots work their way through her system. She avoids any other damage, but those two punches were enough to give the round to Katrina.

Round 2: Hathaway looking fresh as she bounces out of her corner. She’s more aware of Kat’s power, but she’s still looking to close down space to smother the willowy blonde. Anne double jabs to get inside, setting up tidy combinations and touching up Katrina’s pretty face. It’s going two ways now, and Bowden looks willing to trade inside, She’s grabbing Hathaway, prying open her guard to shove heartless uppercuts into Anne’s body. Hathaway content to throw looping hooks that are ROCKING Katrina’s head from side to side. In the closing minute. Katrina shifts her focus from body to head as she lands a rattling shot to the chin. Hathaway lets out a groan as she’s stunned by that blast, but she fights through the fog, swinging wildly to prevent Bowden from cleaning up. Her coaches are quick into the ring after the bell to grab Anne and guide her back to the corner. They’ve got some work to do.

Round 3: Anne given attention to bring her around as she jolts to alertness in her corner. Her opponent has presented a simple puzzle to solve. Don’t trade with her, just outbox her from the outside. Hathaway clenches her jaw in gritty resolve as she answers the bell for round 3. She’s lighter on her feet, moving at angles, working behind a stinging jab that’s finding it’s target easily. Bowden can’t seem to get a handle on this new fighter, as she’s a step too slow and always seems to be punching at shadows. It’s not the heavy punches from Hathaway, but she’s getting off in twos and threes, her superb skill and training on display. Near the end of the round, she raises a glove to the crowd with a wide grin, which draws a lusty roar from the fans as Anne Hathaway is all smiles through three.

Round 4: Bowden now negotiating for that close quarters fighting. Hathaway tucks her elbows in tight, knowing that Kat loves to swing to torso. But Katrina comes over the top with a BOOMING overhand right, slamming into Anne’s jaw and crashing her down to the canvas. Landing on her right side, Hathaway blinks hard as he draws in a deep breath before slowly rolling over to her tummy. She pushes up gingerly at five, finding her balance as she totters up at eight. She’s still finding her sea legs a bit as the ref checks her over… but she looks good enough to continue! Now it’s Katrina Bowden closing in, but she knows a hurt beauty can still be dangerous. She’s applying slow steady pressure, not swinging for the fences but hooking thick to the body. There are no answers from Anne Hathaway as she sponges it up through the bell. The ref has to pull a fiery Katrina off, as Anne hangs in the ropes for a moment before stepping towards her corner.

Round 5: Emphatic gesturing in the Diamond corner, as they want more pressure to end the fight. Heidi Klum can be overheard saying words like “kill”, “destroy” and “ravage”. Bowden nodding in agreement as she rises from her corner. A slow rise for different reasons on the other side. Anne Hathaway gamely answers the bell but she’s still on trembling legs. She’s been touched up good by the power punching blonde tonight and Hathaway doesn’t seem to have any answers. Katrina quickly traps her in the corner and goes to work, smacking away at Anne’s aching body. Hathaway is trying to throw something back, but she can’ locate her blonde tormentress. All the hurt is piling up and Hathaway is forced to take a knee to escape. It’s a slow mournful process, Hathaway cradling her battered ribs with a glove as the ref pulls Katrina off to start the count. Anne trying SO hard to keep it together. She’s pounding her glove on the ground, willing herself not to hurt as she pushes off the deck. The ref waves in Katrina as Anne goes into survival mode, presenting a tight guard as she tries to slide along the ropes. Bowden now letting loose with her heaviest stuff, manages to catch Hathaway as she’s escaping. Not the biggest shot of the night, but enough to knock Hathaway off balance, spilling her to the ground for the second knockdown of the round. A dizzy Anne manages to get her feet underneath her and she SOMEHOW convinces the ref she’s ready to fight. She’s definitely showing an iron will tonight. Katrina shrugs as she’s waved in again, happy to put more leather on Hathaway. Bowden know there will be nothing coming back as she tees off on Hathaway. Somebody get her corner to stop the fight! And Bowden CONNECTS with a tidy uppercut to the chin! Anne crashes to the ground in a heap. Bowden stared down at her opponent with her gloves raised high. Ref has to body her back into a neutral corner as he picks up the count. Anne is a sleepy beauty but her pride is lifting her up the ropes. It’s a slow, foggy rise for Hathaway as she just barely gets up at nine. She’s leaning back in the cords as the ref gives her a close inspection. Her eyes are glassy and she’s swaying in the ropes... It’s a NO GO! The ref has seen enough and awards Katrina Bowden the TKO5 win!

After: Not much protest from Hathaway as her corner gingerly leads her back to the stool. Quite a testament to her fighting spirit that she managed to get up from that last knockdown. But the big win for Katrina is the story of the fight.
Anne: “I’ll give her credit. She’s one tough blonde. I was fighting her really well until the fourth. She caught me with a good punch and I just couldn’t get back on track. I’ve got to find a way to keep the momentum from those early rounds going. Then I’ll be beating girls left and right!”
Katrina: “I knew I had it in me. I’m more than just a pretty face. I’ve also got a killer body and amazing legs! And now people know that I can box too! Girls can underestimate me like Anne did. I’ll knock them out too.
