The Man In The Hat sits, as usual, at the center of the dais. To his left are Leighton Meester, Serinda Swan, Leelee Sobieski, Britney Spears, Mariska Hargitay, and Jewel. To his right sit Kat Dennings, Neve Campbell, Kat Graham, Daniela Ruah, Avril Lavigne, and Jane Levy.

Man In The Hat: "All right, as usual, before we get to questions, there are some people I want to thank. Let's start with the Diamond Boxing Club. Very nice to have DBC back at Asylum. And, let's not forget The Academy, which was kind enough to participate tonight. Also, our indie fighters, who remain a big part of what we do here at Asylum. And, of course, my good friend Pointy and the Bazz stable, which, of course, will be a regular participant here at Asylum. Also, to Av and Jane for putting together another great card, and, as always, last but not least, to the FCBA commission for sanctioning these bouts and making Asylum possible. Now, questions. Cable Boy. Go!"

HBO Reporter: "Talk to me about Dennings and Meester. Two big fights. Two losses. How disappointed ARE you?"

Man In The Hat: "You might be surprised to know that the answer is 'not very'. Kat was in as tough as she's ever been with a former FCBA Champion, one with new management and a lot to prove. And KAT proved somethin', that the stage wasn't too big for her, nor was the competition too great. She wasn't over her head tonight. She can hold her own against top-level fighters. That ain't bad for a girl with 16 career fights. I'm happy with Kat's work tonight. As for Leighton, now, here's a girl who was in with a Top Five fighter, and she took four straight rounds from her. She was winnin' the fight in the second half. Was she over her head? She was not. Obviously, Brenda came up big later in the fight. She won, and she deserved to win. But, again, Leighton proved she can compete against top-flight opposition."

HBO Reporter: "So...what's the next step?"

Man In The Hat(smiling): "BEATIN' 'EM!"

(Laughter)

Man In The Hat: "Cable Boy II!"

Showtime Reporter: "Speaking of flyweights, is Kat Graham on top after that win tonight?"

Man In The Hat: "For the moment, she is. And let's not forget about what Kat did tonight. She was coming off that late upset loss to Chriqui. It's always interesting to see how a girl responds to that. I LIKE the way Kat did it. A lot. And, there's BLONDE! Magazine. Shoot!"

BLONDE! Magazine Reporter: "What did you think of Leelee's work tonight?"

Man In The Hat: "Leelee's the kind of fighter we like. She's big and physical, but also athletic. She can box plenty, and that was important against a slick fighter like Padma. Lakshmi would have picked apart a lot of welters in those early rounds, but not Leelee. The combination of skills Leelee has, well. Those make champs at welter. Take a look at your top girls in the division, Righetti, Freeman, Regan. They can all hit, but they can box, too. And so can Leelee. Tess, dear, go ahead..."

Tess: "How big was Dani's win tonight?"

Man In The Hat: "Big. The divisions Dani's in, they're loaded here at Front Street. We've got seven lights competin' for position, and even welter, where there were only three girls when Dani started fightin' for us, has gotten crowded. We've got FIVE girls competin' there now. If you want big fights, you gotta win. And that's what she did. And she looked very, very good doin' it, too. Smackeroo, dinner time..."

Reporter: "Serinda was pretty impressive tonight..."

Man In The Hat(smiling broadly): "Yes, she was. See, Swanny has that wheelbarrow, and I don't think she wants to give it back to me..."

Serinda(smiling): "Not happening, Wiz..."

Man In The Hat(grinning): "See? Seriously, though, Serinda's worked very hard since she got here and she's gone from a very beautiful, very talented girl to a top contender. I don't believe there's a woman in the lightweight division she can't beat. And, as far as Front Street goes, she's right at the top of our lights, and it's a position she's earned with performances like you just saw. All right. Dinner. Tess! Smackey! Limo!"
