It's been three months since Jessica Schwarz uppended Imogen Thomas and the ex-bantamweight champion is poised to resume her larger than life rivalry with Alesha Dixon soon but first she needs to answer some twitter abuse as Leona Lewis was very eager to avenge her defeat from over three years ago and entered the BBU fray to surprise many people Denise van Outen included. 

Lewis was thought to have retired after a massive knockout at the hands of Laura Pausini, the Italian veteran simply wiped the canvas with the otherwise proud Londoner in June 2012 but fast forward to May 2014 and Leona is back with a vengence. Denise van Outen begs to differ though and thinks the real end of the road sign for Lewis will be stamped by Jessica Schwarz and no mercy should be expected especially that Leona fights out of the same stable as arch nemesis Alesha Dixon.

Round 1:
Lewis tries to jab the German with an early charge but Schwarz easily blocks her off and responds with a couple of hooks to the head. Leona circles away from danger and keeps the distance, throwing single punches, trying to fill her way into the bout. However Schwarz means business, leaps forward and nails the English girl in the stomach a couple of time before jumping away. Lewis looked stunned by Jessica's speed and failed to react in time. Big smile on the German's face as she pours in with a charge, landing a big hook on the side of the Leona's head, rocking her back to the ropes. Schwarz on the move again, throws a furious barrage of punches and Lewis gets trapped along the ropes unable to respond. Big uppercut to the jugs and another hook to the head really make a mess of the English singer as she takes on a series of punches. She sinks on her knees and DOWN SHE GOES just two minutes into the bout after Jessica nailed her on the nose in the middle of that furious charge! Leona stares down at the canvas, but gets up at six, looking stunned by the ferocity of the attack. She leaps away to the ropes before the German actress can reach her again, but Jessica just drops her gloves and pierces her flesh with steely eyes from the other side of the ring signalling utmost confidence. Lewis looks spooked at the bell and that's the worst possible opening three minutes on anyone's comeback.

Round 2:
Leona's desperate to make her mark, throws aggressive jabs to the boobs and lands a couple of them clean but Schwarz responds with a big right hook that goes all around the gloves and catches her on the cheek! Leona's head snaps backwards and Schwarz pounces with a jabbing sequence to the guts, pushing the singer to the ropes in a matter of seconds. Leona covers up again as Jessica just piles on the pressure, hurting her from both flanks, landing well-placed hooks to the ribcage and body. Lewis struggles to even match the Aussie's strenght and power, takes a lot of punishment and it's getting really ugly in a matter of seconds. Jessica's clinical hooks crush the guard well before the minute mark and she lands three consecutive jabs straight on the singer's nose. It's too much to handle for Leona already and she SLUMPS DOWN ON HER KNEES, sobbing in anger over her lacklustre showing. More smiles for the German though who stands over her fallen rival looking totally dominant. Some cheers from the crowd as Lewis gets back up at seven, but her confidence is truly shattered. Jessica has no second thoughts though, pours in with another attack, now breaking through the guard at will, rocking Leona's head from side to side, back & forth. It's almost like she's not even in full gear, just mocking her opponent in the ring. Terrible mismatch! The free-for-all thumping finally ends when another straight jab squashes Lewis' nose and makes her moan louder then usual. She turns away from the German brunette and looks like she wants to vanish from the ring alltogether. Ref realizes this is heading into one direction and stops the bout before Leona gets seriously hurt. What a nightmare for the Londoner again! TKO2 Jessica Schwarz!!!

AFTER: That's perhaps the last we've seen of Leona Lewis! While Denise van Outen agress that Jessica Schwarz was a terrible mismatch, sending a wiley veteran like Leona against the ex-bantam champion questions the intentions of the Beever's Babes in first place. There was little chance for Lewis to wear the German out before the Alesha Dixon clash and if she gets dropped by the Beevers one shouldn't expect the phone to ring all that often. Leona's career is definitely on the rocks and quite frankly the ship has began to capsize already!

On the other hand Jessica hardly broke sweat tonight and BBU TV links her to a fight with Jacqueline Jossa next. This should answer more questions reagrding the German's status if the knockout of Imogen Thomas wasn't enough for some of the naysayers. This being said the only ones questioning Jessica's skills are the fans of Alesha Dixon, the English veteran still capable of making the Main Event stick despite various issues over the recent months.
