Jade Thirlwall was knocked out by Frankie Sandford on her BBU debut last December and vows brutal revenge on The Saturdays roster as she takes on Frankie's fellow bandmate Vanessa White tonight in a fight that Charlie Webster reckons will be equally tough for the Little Mix brunette. Meanwhile Vanessa still has hopes of taking Heidi Range to the cleaners during the summer and is more than ready to destroy Jade in the most vicious way possible. This is only good news for the Cardiff crowd who's destined to witness another flyweight bash with Vanessa really stepping up to the plate and trying to overcome Mollie King for number three on the Saturdays' internal pecking order.

Round 1:
Both girls start in ferocious fashion, it was perhaps expected from the vastly experienced Vanessa but Jade goes all-in against the odds and thumps the older girl on the chest, wins the initial battle and nails her across the mouth to establish control. Vanessa's a tough cookie regardless of her results but Jade shows some quick movement and ducks underneath a flying combo and buries her blue gloves right into the fellow singer's breadbasket. Vanessa can't quite reach out over the top, struggles to clinch the feisty Thirlwall and eats more hooks on the ribcage before a piercing hook finally catches Jade thick and enables the older singer to emerge into clean air. Both girls stare at each other with visible disdain but more action is spared as Vanessa thinks better of it and allows Jade to settle for points.

Round 2:
The brutal knockout of the Little Mix brunette is still on White's mind but she loses another early exchange with Thirlwall showing great improvement compared to her Frankie Sandford disaster six months ago. She thumps Vanessa's midriff and reels her backwards before ducking under a high combo and piercing the older girl's navel to make her moan in the middle of the ring. Right hand on the chin catches Vanessa totally cold and bends her to the side but Jade lacks the proper follow up and only grazes the cheeks afterwards, enables a hitherto cumbersome but viciously aggressive White to slam a couple of hooks against the mouth and spin that raven black hair around the neck. Jade jumps away into safety and prevents more White response but the older girl tries to chase her down, works the singe hand on the ribcage but fails to set up the much quicker Thirlwall for remainder of the round.

Round 3:
Vanessa tries some power punching from mid-range, Jade closed right up but missed a couple of point blank range hooks, the lack of ring action still hampers the Little Mix singer and she finally gets caught with a crunching hook on the nose, loses her footing and enables White to pound away to glory against the chest. Vanessa seeks facial damage afterwards, clubs Thirlwall on both cheeks but the knees remain strong for the younger brunette who spins to the side in avoidance and finds a solid hook on the liver herself. White reaches out after her anyway, skims off the temple and fails to connect with the boobs, eats a swift overhand response on the eye and Jade's back to quick fire attack from close range, thumps White back towards the ropes but fails to punish her any further and earns a vicious death stare from the Saturdays' faithful.

Round 4:
The older brunette is boiling inside as she just can't properly nail Jade tonight, loses another approach when Jade slips low for the tummy and keeps digging her gloves against the ribs; all over her like a cheap suit but the ammount of shots to the guts really takes it's toll down the stretch as White slows further down and fails to cover for a swift change up high... BIG RIGHT HAND ON THE JAW wobbles her to the side and Jade keeps the workrate, tries to break her foe down thanks to sheer level of her efforts and Vanessa's fitness must be questioned in wake of her sluggish schedule in the past few months. Another right hand catches White on the ribs and throws her butt-in-ropes with Thirlwall dominating the close range and just pounding her rival's insides out until the bell and barking in delight at the bell.

Round 5:
Vanessa just looks tired out there but she's landed a quarter of Jade's total thus far and gets no respite again to start the fifth, the clubbing of the ribcage continues and even a couple of close calls doesn't throw Thirlwall off balance. White's woeful in execution, loses her footing after trying to lean on the younger singer and eats a vicious combo on the rack that removes the air from her lungs. Vanessa leans forward, drops her head but Jade adjusts her feet and comes hammering away at the exposed chin... she tags White clean on target and really closes her eyes on the spot... Vanessa spins onto the ropes and bounces off for more... piercing left hook slams her on the mouth and renders the knees numb... DOWN GOES WHITE FLAT ON HER FACE... Jade's relentless punching finally earns her the knockdown and Vanessa can't quite believe it... she beats the count at seven but remains glued to the ropes... Thirlwall fires away with more leather, spikes the guts with more ferocity and allthough she fails to finish the older girl off, Vanessa just shakes her head upon hearing the bell.

Round 6:
Charlie Webster can't quite believe it herself but this is a far fry for Jade's lacklustre debut against Frankie Sandford and poor Vanessa White gets the first hand confirmation. She eats more facial leather within the opening minute of the sixth, can't shrug the knockdown yet and gets thrown onto the ropes with more determined performance from the Little Mix brunette. All Thirlwall through the second minute as she digs her mitts deep into Vanessa's stomach, leaves shining spots all over the older girl's flesh and White truly can't live with that at all, allows herself to be wiped all over the ring; only because Jade lacks a proper 'lights out' punch she's somehow still alive in this one and even Thirlwall needs to catch her breath as she does everything but break some ribs in White's body, finally finds some facial leather again in the dying seconds and snaps Vanessa's head repeatedly so even the ref looks concerned whether to stop the bout in wake of increasing advantage of the younger brunette. Almost no way back for White who's holding her tummy as she slumps onto her stool and quite frankly seems to be done for tonight.

Round 7:
Jade's done it all so far but Vanessa refuses to quit on her stool and rises up for the seventh, earns an immediate double combo on the mouth and drops her arms to protect the aching guts.. but Thirlwall keeps slamming leather against the nose and makes the older singer scream in pain seconds later... clubbing left hook nails White on the brow ridge before a swift follow up cleans out her temple and sends spinning onto the ropes... if only Jade HAD that haymker in her... she has to add more effort into this but Vanessa doesn't bother to raise her arms anymore and gets clobbered on the nose again just inside the minute mark... DOWN GOES WHITE ON HER BACKSIDE... just a slow-mo collapse in Cardiff as the Saturdays singer simply can't take it anymore and bursts into spasms when the count reaches six; the rest being history... KO7 Jade Thirlwall !!!

AFTER: And now both girls cry in the ring as Jade slumps to her knees too and pounds the canvas in delight. What a way to earn you maiden BBU victory against a member of a fellow girls band to make amends for the Sandford disaster. Charlie Webster is shocked herself upon this trashing; "Vanessa was supposed to pass Mollie King in the pecking order but it's not the first time she never checked in mentally! A true disaster for the otherwise feisty competitor. Guess she can only beat up people like Nadine Coyle?"

Little Mix twitter feed errupts in flames moments after the fight and Jade herself is more busy with answering the messages rather than gloating over the wrecked Vanessa. Some girls really need to learn how to cherish a hard-earned success and nobody expects to follow the Little Mix pattern but in the meantime perhaps White did misjudge the quality of opposition she faced tonight? "She could be as equally brutal as Heidi Range but continues to let the whole Saturdays roster down! We need to talk, gurl!", former lightweight champ Rochelle Humes is not impressed by her bandmate's horror showing and she's not the only one scratching her head over this one! Whatever comes next from White - in fact from Thirlwall as well - remains a mystery!
