The blood from Nikki Sanderson's busted up nose is finally removed from the sand and we can move ahead with the card without further delays. It's perhaps surprising that Sarah Harding decided to step into the beach boxing but ever since the Girls Aloud demise she looks to confirm her status as the most intimidating member of the band. "I have a lot of respect for Cheryl Cole... well, technically speaking but I'm more suited for the Boxing on the Beach genre than her and in fact most of these wannabe models elsewhere. The Girls Aloud were always very vocal about their BBU presence but the rough talk doesn't intimidate Georgia Salpa at all despite the raven haired model suffering a shock pasting at the hands of Erin McNaught just few weeks ago: "This defeat postponed my title chances and now Helena Mattsson is poised to take over the Lookout! Atlantic flagship but I always wanted to test myself on the beach and while I wish Helena all the best I'm not here to wander around without a reason. Sarah Harding made a terrible mistake by offending me and the whole model community!"

Round 1:
Both girls tangle in the middle of the ring but Georgia's longer reach enables her to connect with the blonde's face earlier and snaps the head back. Sarah misses her initial attempt and has no time to mount a follow up as Georgia creams into her face and forces back to the ropes. Salpa's really determined to make up for that McNaught disaster and finds an uppercut that splits the simger's mitts to throw her onto the turnbuckle. Harding raises her arms to cover up but Salpa still bounces off the top of the forehead and nails her with a left hand on the eye. Ugh! Sarah sags on her knees and allows the brunette to maintain the advantage; Georgia switches into body attacks in the final minute as she has the singer trapped on the ropes and unable to respond.

Round 2:
Sarah tries to land the opening punch and grazes the model's cheeks but Salpa is lethal with a jabbing combo on the chest that throws Harding off balance as her feet got stuck in the sand. Left overhand catches the eye and turns the blonde to the side, before she can react Salpa drills her breasts again and finds another uppercut on the jaw that sinks Sarah for good. She barely manages to stay on her feet as plants herself deep in the sand and has no time to cover up for a crushing right hook on the nose... DOWN GOES HARDING ON HER BACKSIDE but she's more annoyed than hurt and gets up at five kicking the sand onto Georgia's shins... the raven hair model jumps immediately after the command though and thumps the blonde's midriff again, drives Sarah back to the ropes but allows her to lock a clinch and Harding wrestles her back to the turnbuckle showing some core strenght. It's a shame these antics count for nothing on the judges' cards though!

Round 3:
Salpa tries to further punish the singer but wobbles forward too much as her feet got stuck in the sand this time and Harding powers an uppercut to the chin to swing the black ponytail around the model's neck. She makes the most of Salpa's footing issue and throws immediate follow up on the face, reddens Georgia's cheeks with a jabbing series and bends her to the side after a piercing jab bounces off the liver area... Salpa tries to adjust her position but Harding settles in close range and thumps the brunette's body, reels her back towards the ropes and weaves around a straight jabbing effort before clubbing the model on the temple and trapping her butt-in-ropes for remainder of the round in comeback fashion.

Round 4:
Another tangle in the middle of the ring has Sarah bouncing off Georgia's rack and drilling uppercuts thereafter; the blonde singer finds some speed to tame the model's superior reach and dominates the close range at the expense of her rival's chest. Salpa can't quite stretch her elbows, tries to step back but gets stuck in the sand and bends awkwardly, almost hyper-extends her knee in the proccess but Sarah comes flying with a left hook on the jaw that snaps Salpa's head back and closes her eyes, a swift follow up on the left eye SENDS GEORGIA DOWN ONTO HER KNEES and the comeback is complete for a visibly animated singer who shakes her gloves and almost wants to lift the brunette by the ponytail to continue her pounding. Georgia's up at six but not looking so keen to resume the harrassment anymore, Sarah jumps into her and bumps off the rack, Salpa loses her balance again and gets plastered on the nose with a vicious left hook, another right hand cuts the skin under the left eye and has Salpa covering up on the ropes but soaking up late punishment with Harding trying to pierce her ribcage without much siginificant success.

Round 5:
Georgia tries to resume the early mojo but struggles among the holes in the sand and loses her footing again with a wayward swing on the head, wobbles forward while the blonde shows all those years of dancing routines pay off in BBU too, slips by a desperate model and slams left/right combo on the temples; Salpa screams out in pain as her ponytail ends up bouncing off her boobs, that's how fast and effective her head got snapped... but there's more as the singer comes flying with a jabbing combo on the eye and gives the raven haired vixen a nasty seeping wound on the eye... Salpa jumps back to the ropes in clear discomfort, tries to walk away from the harrassing blonde but Sarah literally smells wounded prey now and leaps at her rack with more uppercuts and pushes her against the turnbuckle in the final minute, ignites some JMD's finest and thumps Salpa's white bikini top repeatedly to leave the taller girl aching and holding back the tears at the bell.

Round 6:
Salpa's really sore now, the wound around the eye was patched up during the break but Sarah traps her with a relentless ribcage barrage and easily backs into the ropes where Georgia drops her arms to protect the aching midsection only to endure a swift follow up on the nose and the wounded eye again. Harding works the black ponytail around and looks keen to knock Georgia's head off, the barrage just increases in ferocity and drops the model's arms by her waist, a quick snap throws Salpa pressing her boobs into the turnbuckle before a left hand on the ribs SENDS A SOBBING BRUNETTE sitting down in the corner.. Sarah barks in anger, wants to really destroy Georgia now and demands her to get up so she can finish her off for good.. blood streams from the eye wound and Salpa shakes her head, beats the count at eight but turns her back to the ref and indicates she can't see much on that left eye.. Sarah is furious, kicks more sand against her foe but the doctor confirms the sad truth and the fact Georgia's vision requires a detailed fix and can't be solved within the next couple of minutes... TKO6 Sarah Harding!!!

AFTER: The fans in Cannes could feel a bit dissapointed they were spared a vicious knockout as Sarah Harding was set to really send Georgia Salpa swimming across the Mediterranean Sea only for the eye injury to force an early stoppage instead. Georgia's title hopes take another hit but Lookout! Atlantic has the perfect cover in Helena Mattsson as indicated before the fight.

What's worse for the blonde singer, she's deprived of snatching the brunette's bikini as Salpa has to leave the ring with an ice pack around her eye. Georgia still earns a solid crowd reaction and quite frankly Denise van Outen thinks she's a natural in these conditions even though she struggled in the sand when the holes got an inch deeper down the stretch. Meanwhile Harding vows to stay ringside and help Karolina Kurkova strip Brooke Burns off her bikini top in the next fight on the card to make up for her own Walk of Shame disappointement!
