The Rimini crowd didn't get what they wanted with Elisabetta Canalis getting knocked out by Brooke Burns but they're offered the a consolation price contest between two Victoria's Secret glamour models, Karolina Kurkova and Rosie Huntington Whiteley. These two have met before on Rosie's BBU debut in late 2011 and Kurkova earned the decision back then but despite her looking extremely good versus Brooke Burns last month, it's Rosie who's made the most headlines on twitter indicating she's actually made her American ring debut already, something that Kurkova never really tasted by going down to Adriana Lima in a matter of minutes.

Indeed the profile of these two models couldn't be any different, Karolina's the designated Lioness Club lightweight leader but suffered some bad losses before which prevented her from chasing the divisional title while Rosie remains one of the highest paid Kear's Kats despite a lousy record in the ring. But she intends to change all that right here in Rimini and get even with the Czech blonde to start her rise up the lightweight rankings. A tall but not impossible order for the 27 year old from Suffolk!

Karolina Kurkova wears a white one piece swimsuit with silver trim and red gloves. Rosie Huntington Whiteley wears a black one piece swimsuit with golden trim and blue gloves.

Round 1:
Kurkova's full of confidence right now and it clearly shows as she thumps her mitts straight into Huntington's guts, dominates a spirited exchange in the middle of the ring with the English girl trying to stay with her and rocking her boobs in fine style herself. But the sheer strenght prevails and the Czech model sends one hook on the ribs too many bending the younger blonde to the side, follows up with a quick hook on the temple and Rosie must cover up and seek a break, can't quite fend off the Kurkova charge though and loses her footing as she gets stuck in a deeper hole, allows Karolina to blast a one-two combo on the chin and spins back to the ropes, escapes in the last moment with a desperate lunge and avoids closing in again with the older blonde looking far more menacing of the two at the bell.

Round 2:
Another blast on the midsection gives Kurkova the advantage, Huntington begins the round in a similar style and all credit to her for such a bold gameplan; she riffles away at the Czech model's ribcage before switching on the boobs but then eats an overhand hook on the temple and must cover up, visibly concerned about her punching resistance and Karolina adds more leather down the stretch, wins the close range battle and forces the English blonde back but fails to trap her onto the ropes and must avoid a late flurry of hooks from Huntington who doesn't want to settle in on Kurkova's plan at all.

Round 3:
Both girls seek the first noteworthy punch of this fight and Georgie Thompson's keen to remind everyone it took nine rounds for Karolina to finally send Brooke Burns down on the sand last month. However Rosie gets her break in the third when she slips by a hooking combo on the head and leaps to the side just as the Czech model tried to lean on her; gets stuck in the sand as a result and Rosie slams a left hook on the brow ridge herself, follows up with a series on the chest and whips Karolina back, adds a facial assault and allthough gets clinched, she still has the momentum to push Kurkova into the ropes where she drills her tummy for remainder of the round looking much better than anticipated before the fight.

Round 4:
The Italian crowd doesn't have a favorite in this one, just a couple of shapely blondes trying to beat the stuffing out of each other and it's Huntington punching Kurkova's stuffing out early in the fourth, another dangerous wobble from the Czech girl results in Rosie snapping her head back with a piercing straight jab and switching low on the guts. Karolina tries to clinch her but eats another blow on the brow ridge and earmuffs into a cover, has Rosie thudding away at her body thereafter and just shoving her into the ropes where she tries to break the guard but can't quite pull it off, drops her tempo inside the last minute and settles into keeping the older blonde trapped. Kurkova just unable to come up with anything right now as she loses the speed & agility over the sand factor to get herself caught in defensive position.

Round 5:
Karolina ignites some speed into her movement and stuns Rosie with a quick belter on the liver area before going up on the chest with uppercuts and making the English blonde moan in the middle of the ring. A proper body assault restores her confidence and she wins the close range battle by spiking Huntington's ribcage and blocking off any facial response. Rosie goes low on her knees and tries to clinch the older blonde but just gets beaten for another overhand and eats a hook on the nose which wobbles her forward into more vicious leather. Karolina turns up the heat and riffles away at the face, splits the mitts and whips Rosie's head back, the feet get stuck in the sand and Huntington's all exposed and unable to escape, she lifts her left foot just as Karolina cracks her temple to spin her around, Rosie's head bounces into Kurkova's high elbow and throws her off balance, as she turns back there's a left hook waiting for her nose to burst open and KAROLINA HITS HER CLEAN to render her numb on the spot... Huntington goes down face-first with a loud scream and that's the biggest punch of the night thus far! English girl shaken and possibly stirred, remains flat on her face until six before pushing herself off both hands... but there's a bloody mark where her face got buried in the sand and a massive cut across the nose reveals the nature of that huge punch from Karolina... ref wipes the sand off Rosie's face and orders the doctor to take a look on that cut which looks really nasty, perhaps that accidental elbow played a part in this as well? Anyway, the English girl is send back out after a brief pause but Kurkova's all over her face in a hurry, thumps the mitts aside and just snaps the head back, reels a visibly affected foe back to the ropes where she thumps more misery into Huntington's face and it's no wonder coach Gail Kim looks worried at the bell.

Round 6:
Rosie still looks somewhat shaken by that punch and gets trapped into more facial leather as Karolina ignites more speed into her performance adding to the visible satisfaction over that nose cut, she pumps her gloves into Huntington's face who just tries to hang on but fails to provide a full cover on the long stretch and gets battered down into the ropes; Kurkova into red mist mode, fires away on the head but as Rosie sinks low and jabs her ribcage in response there's a proper check for the older blonde's resistance, a screaming Rosie buries her mitts on the solar plexus and halts the Czech charge, both girls lock themselves into a clinch and it only takes Huntington trying to not-so-accidentally headbutt her foe to escape away from the ropes for the ref to step in and end the stalemate. Karolina beats Rosie for an overhand hook afterwards, clubs both cheeks and skims off the nose to make the Engkush model scream, another hook on the temple sways her to the side but she avoids going down again even when Kurkova pierces her navel in frustration as another earmuff cover remains in tact and saves Huntington from more misery before the bell.

Round 7:
Gail Kim wants Rosie to earn herself more time but she's visibly slower across the sand than her Czech nemesis and a repeated jabbing galore finally breaks her guard on the minute mark with Kurkova romping away at the face with angry moans supporting her bid. Rosie tries to hang on but eats an uppercut on the jaw and staggers to the side with her eyes closed, a double hand follow up cleans out her temples and drops the arms paving the way for Karolina to blast a delicious cross hook on the nose and spill blood all over her face & cleavage... ROSIE HITS THE SAND FLAT ON HER BACK... she tries to get up at four but than checks up on her nose and smears more blood over her pretty face... the ref looks on at the doctor but it just won't get any better for the English girl who wobbles herself upright at eight, her black swimsuit covered in sand and the eyes glaring in disbelief more than fury... Karolina gets the command and the Rimini crowd errupts moments later when she literally has to blink to avoid more blood getting spilled into her eyes as she thumps a lacklustre looking Huntington's nose with another hooking combo; Rosie's arms are down by the side and poor girl only whimpers her presence trying to lift her right foot and do something... KURKOVA SQUASHES HER LIKE A BUG... zips one last hook on the nose and SENDS THE ENGLISH GIRL DOWN ON HER SIDE... even the ref gets to taste Rosie's blood splattering over his jersey and he calls the fight on the spot as the medics pour in to attend a battered Huntington eating some sand and sobbing her heart out... KO7 Karolina Kurkova!!!

AFTER: That was almost a carbon copy of the Canalis vs Burns fight with one girl looking really impressive until a certain point and eventually going down in a very brutal fashion. Georgie Thompson remains unsure how much luck was involved when Karolina tore Rosie's nose open, a wayward elbow - if not intentional - may have caused the damage but even the BBU TV replays are inconclusive. However the Kear's Kats may feel very unfortunate in Rimini tonight after Nikki Sanderson got humiliated in an unscheduled post-fight wrestling dust-up despite wrecking Michelle Keegan in the boxing part proper and now Rosie Huntington-Whiteley loses a Victoria's Secret duell against an old enemy. Even the audience sounds a bit downbeat and offer the fallen English model as bigger cheer as an otherwise rampant Czech winner enjoys on her part.

The second BBU Boxing on the Beach card proved to be a great success and that's not the last of the action we've seen around the European beach resorts this summer. Brooke Burns has signed a three-fight deal and there's every chance Doutzen Kroes will step in to replace Rosie Huntington-Whiteley who was touted as the American's opponent on the next edition. Even though Rosie has escaped this contest without a fractured nose, she's gonna require some time to heal that wound anyway, besides she's got her day-time job to worry about as well and will be rested for the next few weeks according to Gail Kim's post-event interview.
