TESS VALMORE

Explanation (not excuse) I am very late with the review. I read Medallions August first post. I expected the card to be a separate post. Not having the website turn on to expand. I failed to realize the fights had taken place by reply until I read the Boxing World post this morning. IT WAS MY BAD

DAVIDSON/ A. J. JOHNSON Davidson climbing back into the ring for the second time in eight years and after a two year absence. Although Davidson managed to take the second round, she looked a little lost through the first six rounds, including barely surviving a knockdown in the third. Her corner mate, Elizabeth Dushku, seem to have lit a fire under Davidson between rounds six and seven. Davidson came and battered Johnson and the eighth, floored her with a left uppercut and right to the body. Johnson managed to get to her feet but was in no condition to continue and the bout was stopped

PERABO/ HOLT Holt has a legitiment claim to a title fight. A win here would give her a good push, while a loss would be a significant setback. I didn’t think a Perabo win would put her in line for a title bout. Holt. once again, proved her claim as a logical title contender. After a third round that left Perabo dazed and listless in her corner, I thought Holt would end it in the fourth. Surprisingly Perabo came back to take the fourth round. It was just delaying the inevitable. In the sixth, Holt decked Perabo with a left hook. Perabo managed to get to her feet, but after Holt landed a couple more blockbusters, the referee wisely called a halt to the bout

CUOCO/ BIEL This bout live up to it’s promise. It was a good close bout. Cuoco was slightly ahead at the five due to a fifth round knockdown. The complextion of the fight changed in the seventh. Biel floored Cuoco and then took the eighth. It was now anyone’s bout. Cuoco took the ninth and salted the win away with a tenth round knockdown

Normally, one is not admitted to the Hall Of Fame until Tractorpull announces it. We, however, agreed with Medallion that he could announce her entry if she won the bout. We will make it official later today
