"I think there's a good chance I could retire her," stated Christina Hendricks bluntly. "I mean, she has an ok record, and not everybody can beat J. Lo, so she's hardly a joke. But she's at the age where you start looking at making a graceful exit. Plus, I'm in great shape, and she's behind a desk all day long."

Robin Meade obviously did not agree. "I've knocked out tougher. She looks pretty soft and squishy from where I'm standing. I mean, measurements don't win fights."

Christina Hendricks entered the ring in teal trunks and bra, followed shortly after by Robin Meade in purple.

Round 1:
Hendricks and Meade spent the early part of the round sizing each other up and testing the other's defenses. Soon it became clear that Hendricks had the advantage. Meade struggled against Hendricks' reach advantage, finding herself beaten back whenever she went on the attack. Hendricks, cool and collected, simply pecked away at Meade from a distance, content to play it safe considering her lead. The round ended with Meade largely unhurt, but frustrated by her inability to respond to Hendricks' attacks.

Round 2:
While the second round looked to be a replay of the first early on, it was not to be. This time, Meade had adapted, able to meaningfully threaten Hendricks. The brunette was able to force furious exchanges of punches multiple times throughout the round. The first saw Hendricks failing to connect while Meade punished her with a right hook to the chin. In the second, Meade was less fortunate, landing a one two combination to Hendrick's midsection before being driven away by a series of quick jabs. Though Meade ended the round bruised and winded, her performance had obviously improved.

Round 3:
After Meade had proven herself in the second round, Hendricks seemed to be determined to shut her down completely instead of satisfying herself with steady, gradual progress. The redheaded actress got her wish early on, when she stopped Meade's attack with a quick cross to the nose. The brunette stumbled momentarily with a confused look on her face, quickly becoming easy prey for Hendricks, who landed a hook to the temple that sent the battered newscaster scrambling for cover. With Meade on the retreat, Hendricks chased her down, putting her on the ropes with nowhere to run. For every punch that Meade's guard intercepted, two snuck through, and she finished the round stumbling back to her corner holding her injured midsection.

Round 4:
Meade was in need of a comeback, and in the fourth round she pursued one with more enthusiasm than effectiveness. Her first disastrous attempt saw Hendricks easily fade away from the newscaster's wild swing, only to come back to strike her sharply on the cheek. Meade quickly fell back, but once again she made another risky attack in the hope of weakening or even knocking down her redheaded opponent. Hendricks covered up, weathering the punches with ease, striking back with a brutal combination once the brunette started to run out of steam. The series of punches left Meade reeling, and the final uppercut left her wobbling unsteadily. Despite it all, Meade bravely pressed on, though in her weakened state Hendricks was able to easily swat away her clumsy swings. The taller redhead almost seemed bored as she struck back, effortlessly sending Meade into a retreat covering her head. Miraculously, Meade remained on her feet until the end of the round, when she collapsed on her stool as a smirking Hendricks strutted back to her corner.

When the fifth round began, Meade was still on her stool. Teary eyed, she weakly waved the referee away with one gloved hand. As Meade curled up and covered her face, the referee made it official -- Meade had given up the fight, and Hendricks was the winner by TKO. Her victory did not seem to please the redheaded actress, as she stomped towards Meade's corner, gesturing angrily at the defeated woman. Several officials moved to intercept Hendricks, who finally backed off, still scowling at Meade and mockingly wiping imaginary tears out of her own eyes. The scene finally ended with Hendricks storming off angrily, and the still unsteady Meade being helped out of the ring by two attendants, obviously having trouble staying on her feet.

With Robin Meade still in no condition to talk to anyone, Christina Hendricks happily addressed the press. "I guess it's disappointing that I didn't get a chance to knock her out, but I can't blame her for seeing where the fight was going. Not the best end to a career, of course, but it's her choice to enter the ring in the first place. Anyway, I don't see much reason to waste time talking about the loser. Aren't you more interested in finding out who I'm going to take down next?"
