Both these women are seeking their first victory in beach boxing, Georgia Salpa suffered a stoppage loss to Sarah Harding while Elisabetta Canalis was knocked out by both Malika Menard and Brooke Burns. Coming in as one of the alleged beach boxing favorites, the Italian model is literally hell bent to destroy Salpa right here in Mallorca which would salvage her some pride but Georgia still believes she can join the lightweight elite even though Holly Peers has mocked her fight against Harding on twitter in the last couple of days.

Georgia Salpa wears a black bikini and white gloves. Elisabetta Canalis wears a red bikini, white knickers and black gloves. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division.

Round 1:
A furious starts has the Italian thumping Georgia's midsection and switching up on the chest. Salpa responds by clattering into Canalis' cheeks and snaps her head back, both women are staggered briefly but Elisabetta finds her rhythm sooner and slams more leather across her opponent's mouth. Georgia tries to lean on her and dig into the chest again but gets wobbled by the sheer ammount of punches and has to retreat as Canalis chases her down with single hand approach and smacks the body to keep the upperhand for remainder of the round.

Round 2:
Georgia moves into close range and thumps Elisabetta's ribcage but eats a spiking series on the nose and wobbles back; rapid fire from the Italian in hot pursuit snaps the head back and forces Salpa into ducking away, Canalis still clips her cheeks and pummels through on the chest, rips the guard aside and uppercuts the jugs, sends the English model spinning into the ropes and ducking underneath a hooking response. She clatters into Georgia's chin with a swift counter and snaps the head back, keeps her trapped on the ropes and settles for more punches on the ribs leaving Salpa gasping for air at the bell.

Round 3:
Georgia's determined to make some breakthrough and accepts a vicious punching exchange in close range, digs into the Italian's navel but eats a cross hook on the mouth and an uppercut follow up on the chin that bends her to the side. Elisabetta finds a hook on the temple to drop her arms before landing a right hand on the mouth that whips Salpa onto rubber legs and soaking up a jabbing series on the stomach thereafter... she almost gets drilled in half AND COLLAPSES ON HER KNEES as Canalis screams out in her efforts to score the knockdown and eventually does so with sheer ammount of leather... Georgia takes her time to get up and beats the count at seven.. still looks feisty enough to mount a proper challenge but the Italian slams more cross hooks on the mouth and backs her into the ropes where she tries to drill the navel again but runs out of time to further punish the raven-haired model.

Round 4:
Salpa tries to bide her time after the knockdown but the Italian model is all over her thanks to superior movement kicking sand all over the shins as she traps the English girl with more hooks on the head before switching on the ribs. Georgia's response grazes the forearms and after a piercing jab tears the skin under her left eye she bellows out into earmuff and allows Elisabetta to punch her back to the ropes and seek another chopping series on the guts. All Canalis thereafter, digging her mitts into the navel and just removing more air from the lungs as well as Salpa's fighting spirit... Georgia's just unable to weather the storm right now and has to accept a shutout, doesn't even look at the fellow brunette and has serious issues with getting her breath back.

Round 5:
The incredible work rate enables Canalis to dominate another close range tussle, she easily traps Salpa with a jabbing series on the chest and splits the arms to uppercut the chin thereafter. Georgia's black hair flies back & forth as she gets tagged on the chin and wobbles to the side, tries to pierce Elisabetta's ribcage but falls into a belting hook on the temples and moans in pain before the Italian finds one on the mouth and sends her tripping over her own feet. Georgia struggles to regain her balance and fails to cover up for another piercing hook that nails her on the nose, a quick left hand grazes the ear but is almost unneccessary AS SALPA HITS THE SAND ON HER SIDE moments before that... Canalis shakes her glove and kicks sand straight into the fallen brunette's eyes and it's another slow rise from Georgia, this time nothing intentional about that... she's up at eight but gets pummelled back to the ropes again as Elisabetta digs into her chest and meets no resistance... another desperate cover spares Salpa facial damage but the repeated blows on the ribcage turn her into an aching punchbag at the bell and Canalis just refuses to let go, slams a couple of late hooks on the navel and has to be dragged away by the ref.

Round 6:
Georgia just doesn't have the pace to fend off the Italian barrage anymore, Elisabetta rips into her face with more piercing jabs and shatters the guard with ease. She gives the English model another cut under the eye and snaps the head back to shut her eyes moments later. A riffling left hook crashes off the temple before a right hand pierces the navel AND DROPS SALPA TO HER BACKSIDE... The English girl leans back with her head resting on the ropes and this time she doesn't even make the effort to beat the count having been thoroughly pulverized by the Italian model... KO6 Elisabetta Canalis!!!

AFTER: Canalis equally happy and relieved over this fine performance, kicks more sand over Salpa's body and yells back at her but has to be dragged away by the ref as the medics need to assist the fallen Englis girl first. The crowd really enjoyed the opening fight of the Mallorca Boxing on the Beach card and give the Italian a rampant ovation... Elisabetta still has blood pumping in her veins fast, wants to have a piece of all the remaining models on BBU roster and who knows, perhaps under the Latin Union guidance she will eventually manage to improve her record to a winning ratio. Georgia Salpa is a valuable trophy on the list and a sign of progress, in fact Canalis bumps into Holly Peers as the PageThree girl makes her way to the ring next but then gets shoved back by Karolina Kurkova and has to settle for a round in the bar rather than seek additional prey. Meanwhile Georgia's been escorted off the ring in a very sour shape and it's obvious she's not exactly as impressive prospect as stablemate Helena Mattsson for instance. A good win over Holly Peers could restore her confidence but that fight hasn't been confirmed yet despite all the rumours.
