It's almost like a wooden spoon tournament this according to Charlie Webster; another fight between two girls desperate for success follows Kelly Hall's BBU debut and it's a coin-flipper as Rebecca Ryan tries to shrug off the creampuff image against equally lacklustre Zoe Lister. Contrary to the first bout of the night, the pre-fight trash talk is non-existent and both girls appear to be extremely short of confidence

Rebecca Ryan wears a brown bikini top, smal black hip-huggers and blue gloves. Zoe Lister wears a white bikini with yellow trim and green gloves. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Half-hearted approach in the opening minute before Rebecca jumps into more aggression and begins to stalk the blonde's face with some high jabbing. Zoe dances around those efforts and responds with single hand attacks, bounces off the brunette's guard and slips by more facial jabs to stray away from her rival. Rebecca tries to close the distance but lacks neccessary speed and falls into a late jabbing series on the ribcage as Zoe pounds away with more aggression before getting locked in a clinch.

Round 2:
Slow start again and Zoe for some reasons lures Rebecca into stalking her and this time the brunette pierces the mitts well and snaps the blonde's head back to assume control. As Lister covers in earmuff, the brunette reverts into punching her stomach and staggers her in the middle of the ring; sends more jabs on the navel and bends the blonde forward, ducks underneath a desperate but wayward hook and slams more leather on the ribcage causing the Hollyoaks blonde to moan in pain. Ryan tries to punch her foe back to the ropes but lacks power, can't do anything more other than wobble Zoe side to side and almost eats a piercing hook on the nose as the blonde let one go without even looking where it's going.

Round 3:
Rebecca's punching power falls under more scrutiny as she tries to pierce the mitts but Zoe locks the guard well this time and response with more menacing hooks over the top. Both girls settle in close range but the single hands give Lister the advantage as she nails Ryan on the cheeks and forces her to dance around in avoidance. More committed attacks from Zoe follow and she hassles the brunette down the stretch, fails to land a proper combo to really stagger her though and settles into low jabbing around the elbows as Rebecca loses all the momentum from the previous round.

Round 4:
Big punch from Lister opens the fourth as she jumped into the brunette in a sudden burst of speed and split her mitts with a cross hook before tagging the mouth in a swift follow up. Ryan's head snaps back and she tries to respond from the back foot, wobbles badly and can't raise her arms in time as Zoe blasts a left/right combo on the nose AND DROPS REBECCA TO HER KNEES... Ugh! The Leeds crowd ups the support volume after a lethargic bout thus far and the Hollyoaks girl looks genuinely surpirsed she send her opponent for the count like that... Rebecca tries to indicate that was helluva lucky from the blonde, gets up at four but it's almost too quick to catch her breath and Lister powers through with more jabbing on the face, splits the mitts again and just whacks the brunette back to the ropes and leaves her covered in earmuff at the bell.

Round 5:
Blonde seeks more damage, squares up to the slow moving brunette and whacks her guard aside; peppers the cheeks to snap Ryan's head back and dominate the close range once again. She throws a spiking series on the liver area to drop Rebecca's forearms in desperate cover but that opens the hole up high and a couple of uppercuts send the brown hair around the neck and the younger actress sagging on her knees. Before she can raise her arms again Zoe blasts a cross hook on the chin and follows up with a right hook on the brow ridge TO SEND RYAN CRASHING DOWN ON HER BACK... Brunette sits up quickly but takes her time in getting up, stares at the blonde's legs standing right in front of her and delaying the count... Zoe almost thought she had her rival beaten but Ryan's on her feet at seven... another blonde flurry follows and Rebecca's wayward response fails to bring her anything, she gets pummelled back to the ropes instead and is fortunate enough to hear the bell before Lister punches her any further.

Round 6:
A misty-eyed look from the brunette and Zoe pumps herself up for this one now, jumps from her stool early and tackles Rebecca right off the bell, fails to connect with the flesh at first but Ryan almost loses her footing in a desperate merry-go-round the ropes... a vicious left hook finally staggers her on the minute mark and Lister picks her off with more facial leather thereafter, rocks the younger actress back & forth adding lumps to both cheeks before switching low and piercing the navel. Ryan just sinks on her knees and starts to wince in pain, Zoe adds to the volume shrieking in her efforts and she punches the aching brunette back to the ropes again, drills her navel in lethal fashion and shrugs off any clinching attempts. Rebecca covers up her face but has to lower the guard and even someone of Lister's record can take advantage of that, she blasts a double uppercut combo on the chin to shut Rebecca's eyes just before the bell and looks massively annoyed the clock struck against her once more.

Round 7:
Ryan's looking really sore now and can barely raise her arms to prevent Lister from bashing her face in; the blonde has no issues with pumping leather on the swollen cheeks though and splits the mitts with ease, works the high tempo jabbing and spins the brown hair around the neck, sways Ryan's head back & forth and shuts her eyes early... Rebecca drops her arms and gets punched back to the turnbuckle and whimpers her heart out, eats a couple of hooks on the temples and turns her back to Zoe, leans over the ropes and the ref has to step in to check up with her... there's some blood seeping from the left cheek and the head is dropped on the shoulders as Rebecca admits she doesn't want to fight anymore and shakes her head repeatedly without even looking at the referee.. TKO7 Zoe Lister!!!

AFTER: That was a terrible way to end the fight and the Hollyoaks girl looks annoyed that the brunette took the easy way out. "But that's what jobbers do, they don't have the guts to keep going once they get hit in the face time and time again. And let's be honest, Zoe Lister hasn't scared anyone in BBU with her results and now she's forced Ryan to give up the fight! What a travesty!", Charlie Webster offers the beaten actress little sympathy and the crowd acts likewise having been spared a nice little knockout at the very least.

Is this the end of Rebecca Ryan in BBU? She looked awful against a mediocre opponent and Zoe can't believe how easy she managed to break her spirit. Some questions need to be answered really soon and the BBU TV doesn't even wait for the official verdict heading straight back to the commercials to curtain this unbelieveable contest early. A shame for the Hollyoaks blonde whose open challenge to Hannah Tointon fails to make the TV coverage and has to be confirmed on twitter later in the night.
