GRACE PARK VS RACHEL MCADAMS
(Writing: Archer / Results: Lookout!)

Rachel McAdams frank in her pre-fight appearances: “I lost to Grace last time out and so I am not surprised to see polls thank rank her ahead of me in the bantam division. I want that to change so I can get another crack at those title belts. Beating Grace Park is the easiest way to do it. I don’t underestimate her; I would suggest she not underestimate me.”

“I would never underestimate Rachel,” Grace Park says pointedly, “but she seems to think I am just going to roll over and let her get that title shot. That is not going to happen because I am want that title shot and I’ll beat anyone I have to get it.”

Fight night finds Rachel in in red bikini with black trim and red gloves, hair loose. Grace in yellow bikini with hair in a battle braid with black gloves. Two veterans are cool, but correct during instructions.

During R1:  Rachel and Grace head for each other with determined expressions and start probing with their initial punches as they circle each other, Rachel then moves in and tries to bat her way passed Grace’s jab. It takes her some bobbing and weaving, but the Foxfire fighter put leather into Grace’s midsection. Grace tries to move aside, but Rachel is on her and gets some nice hooks up into Grace’s breasts. Grace looking irritated, starts bobbing and weaving herself, then moves to the attack when Rachel pauses. Good smacking hits into McAdams tummy and some follow scrubbing action to auburn-haired fighter’s breasts. Rachel’s turn to look irritated and this leads to an intense exchange in close. Issue is in doubt to the final minute when Rachel’s smacks to the body finally make Grace pull back with grimaces of pain. First round goes Rachel McAdams, though it’s close.

R2:  Grace Park goes on the offensive very quickly this round and she catches a surprised Rachel McAdams some nice stinging lefts and rights off the chin. Bazz fighter punching with vigor, driving Rachel backwards to the ropes. Rachel getting worked over to the body until she finally clinches to get the referee’s break. Grace picks up the attack as soon as she’s waved back in. Rachel’s defenses are stiffening behind her jab, but she’s not able to get much offense going this round which goes Grace.

R3: Rachel on the attack again early. Fierce fighting at mid ring for the first minute.  The redhead is still  swabbing Grace’s body, but now a;also finding Asian beauty’s head with some regularity. Grace backpedals pretty nicely and Rachel is obliged to pursue her through the middle minute. Rachel finally manages to corner the Bazz fighter and pepper her body with strong lefts and rights. Grace stuck on the defense this round which goes to Foxfire boxer.

R4: Grace battles to get back into the fight. Exciting two-way action as Grace and Rachel trade shots while moving all over the ring. Grace drives Rachel back with solid shots to the head that whip auburn hair around Rachel’s sweaty face. Rachel shakes the tendrils of hair away and soon has Grace up on her toes with strong hook shots to the breadbasket. Grace twisting away from this attack, but Rachel moving to cut her off. Another fierce flurry and this time Grace clips Rachel’s chin and makes the Foxfire stagger backwards. Grace stays close, popping punches into Rachel’s breasts and midsection. Rachel battles back with her jab, finally driving Grace back with a swelling left eye from a McAdams straight right over the Bazz fighter’s gloves. It’s close but the judges give the round to Grace.

R5: The two action resumes at the bell as Grace is pounding away at targets of opportunity as she and Rachel circle each other. Grace really working those McAdams’ breasts. Rachel’s may not exactly have  big jugs, but she doesn’t like her perky mammaries getting flattened. Still, the redhead says cool and keeps up the jabs and counters, but seems to be waiting for just the right opening. Then, late in the round, Rachel does a head fake to the right, drawing Grace’s attention, but then slams  a left into the side of the Bazz fighter’s face. Grace’s head spun around and when it comes back, Rachel is burying a right deep into Asian belly meat and then another left clips Grace’s chin. Grace’s knees give a shiver and she sinks to them, one arm around her aching tummy, while gasping for breath. Rachel retreats to a neutral corner. Grace painfully rises to beat the count, but she looks hurt as Rachel comes rushing back in. Grace covers up defensively to the bell.

R6: Rachel with her eyes focused on the dazed Grace as the Bazz corner works hard to repair the damage the Foxfire fighter administered last round. As the bell rings, Grace is slow off her stool, but has her guard up as Rachel closes in. Rachel works Grace’s sides initially, then starts hooking belly and finally hooks Grace’s rack line. Body attack seems to be draining Grace, who gamely struggles on, but then Rachel unexpected shifts fire and bangs lefts and rights off Grace’s head. Grace’s legs go rubbery and her gloves seem frozen just below breast level. Rachel quick to fire left and right uppercuts into Grace’s unprotected chin sending her reeling back against the ropes. Now Rachel moves in and pounds Grace’s midsection as she hangs limply against the ropes. Then she goes back to the chin with whacking rights and lefts! It’s a frightening sight for Grace Park fans! THE REF JUMPS IN! The official cradles a collapsing Grace Park to safety as Rachel McAdams raises her right arm in victory!

The Winner: Rachel McAdams TKO6

After: “I trust this will get the attention of the Claire Danes camp,” sniffs Rachel to the press in post-fight. “HISC may not want to risk having their girl fight me soon, but this is putting them on notice: I will not be ignored when it comes to title contention. I am hoping they won’t keep me waiting TOO long.”

“I was very disappointed,” Grace Park says (the next day). “I was sure I could beat her again.    I didn’t, but I am not going to dwell on it.  I’m also not giving up on my hopes for a title shot. I’ll find a way to get there. I promise you all that. As for Rachel—she hasn’t seen the last of me, that’s another promise!”
