Sarah Harding targets becoming the most successful Girls Aloud member since Cheryl Cole can't seem to shrug off the Samia Ghadie nightmares and after impressively stopping Georgia Salpa on the beach card a couple of months ago she wants to add another Lookout Atlantic brunette scalp to her collection by taking on Jennifer Metcalfe tonight. Meanwhile the Hollyoaks actress along with close friend Jorgie Porter arrives in Barnet full of confidence and claims the TV stars are better fighters than the "airhead singers" like Harding and Heidi Range. There's something evil in the blonde's eyes as she refuses to touch gloves with Metcalfe during the introductions and it's obvious she disagrees with the brunette's trashy comments! 

Sarah Harding wears a white bikini top, small black hip-huggers and pink gloves. Jennifer Metcalfe wears a navy blue bikini and black gloves. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division.

Round 1:
Sarah wastes no time in establishing authority in the ring as she smacks Jennifer across the mouth to wobble her back and pierces the guard in ferocious fashion bouncing off the cheeks in the proccess. Metcalfe's overwhelmed by this approach and tries to circle back out of reach but to no avail as Harding digs her mitts in her mouth and snaps the head back making the actress wince in pain already. All Harding down the stretch as she pummels Jennifer around the ropes and the brunette can only graze the forearms in a weak response unable to match the high intensity, she swings wide with a desperate hooking effort only to eat a swift reply on the temple as Sarah works the left jab to punish the brow ridge thereafter leaving Metcalfe on soft knees at the bell.

Round 2:
More aggression from the blonde who traps the actress in the middle of the ring with another piercing series and snaps the head back to drop the arms too. Jennifer tries to send one from the back foot but eats a cross hook on the mouth and wobbles into a right hand on the eye that spins her around to a rampant response from the Barnet audience. She can't raise her arms in time for another crushing hook on the nose that buries her on the ropes as Sarah leaps at her and cleans out the breadbasket with Jennifer covered in earmuff but struggling to handle the midsection barrage and moaning even louder in complete disarray at the bell.

Round 3:
Jennifer fails to match the singer's speed across the canvas and falls into another facial nightmare; Sarah splits the mitts with ease and bounces off the cheeks adding reddish patches before switching on the navel to drop Metcalfe's guard. Another switch nails the actress on the nose and wobbles her to the side so a piercing left hook finds a straight forward way on the temple and staggers the Hollyoaks girl, a thumping uppercut whacks her on the chin moments later AND SENDS TUMBLING DOWN ON THE BACKSIDE... Harding in strictly business attire, watches on as her foe climbs back upright at six before resuming the onslaught, she pummels through on the face again and bashes Metcalfe back to the ropes where she drills the navel and skips the high guard; she literally tries to chop the brunette in half but the clock expires before she can achieve that goal.

Round 4:
Metcalfe's eyes are staring at the singer in utter disbelief during the interval but the Hollyoaks girl just can't hurt the blonde tonight and eats a faceful of leather again instead. Sarah powers through with vicious jabbing and cuts the brunette under the left eye and sinks her on the knees in the middle of the ring before belting a combo around the elbows to bend her to the side. Jennifer tries to jump back in avoidance but eats another left hook on the jaw and wobbles back, stumbles onto the ropes which saved them from going down alltogether yet Harding is right there and pumping her mitts on the face again. Metcalfe's head spins to the side and the actress closes her eyes in visible pain but Sarah just wrecks her face thereafter AND SENDS SLIDING DOWN ON HER BACKSIDE again. The sheer ammount of leather landing on the brunette's face becomes painful alone to watch and her left cheek has swollen greatly; the proud actress rises at eight and nods back to the ref without much confidence... the crowd wants a proper slaughter though and she's send into the blonde's path again... Sarah pumps more leather on the head and keeps her foe trapped on the ropes, she closes Jennifer's yes and bats away in ruthless fashion, spins the dark hair around the neck and cuts the other cheek as well but runs out of time to finish the girl off again, Metcalfe almost knocked silly on her feet, walks back to the Lioness corner instead of her own and she truly looks done here tonight.

Round 5:
Sarah's up early for the fifth while Jennifer refuses to quit on her stool but has to be shoved back into the ring and gets wrenched to the side with the first left overhand as Harding switches to uppercuts and splits the mitts, she nails the lacklustre actress on the chin with a swift combo and drops her arms; a left hook across the nose SENDS JENNIFER CRASHING ON HER SIDE moments later and this time the brunette prefers to stay there, makes no effort to beat the count and is left motionless on the canvas... KO5 Sarah Harding!!!

AFTER: That was a statement making performance for the Girls Aloud singer but she looks focused on future bouts already as the medics pour onto the ring to revive a semi-conscious actress back to her stool. Sarah seems to be finally taking advantage of her vast experience and she certainly has some punching power in her to cause many problems to fellow lightweights. Perhaps someone of Rochelle Humes' profile would be too demanding right now but there's every chance Harding might place herself in the lightweight title picture come next year. Seeing out Miranda Kerr's reign is one thing but mounting a run across the division is something else and Sarah's ruthless attire can truly match Cheryl Cole's antics according to Denise van Outen who concludes the anniversary card's opening day with a bright smile on her face and a buckletload of praise for the blonde singer. Has the BBU TV officially joined the Harding bandwagon? That would be quite a story since she wasn't exactly at the top of the pecking order among the singers' contingent before!
