CELEBRITY BOXING AFTER DARK

Fightfans are puzzled as to why 43 year old Aisha has decided to re-enter the FCBA fray, provoking a fight with Gemma, the 29 year old British bombshell who has recently switched stables yet again, looking for action. The blonde girl’s not got the best defence in the world, and maybe Aisha’s hoping for an easy scalp tonight.

Gemma’s in the ring first, her body just about covered in a scarlet bikini, edged in white, with similarly coloured gloves and boots. Aisha’s more demure, in a white one-piece, gloves and boots, but she’s looking good, and is clearly the taller girl.

Round 1

The girls are circling cautiously, each sending out a tentative jab, Aisha’s maybe carrying a little more venom, but she’s not following her jab in with any great pressure, so the blonde can keep herself inside that guard and land a few of her own punches. Aisha reacts at last to her corner’s cries to thump the Brit, and she gives a left, right left to the face which grabs her attention, backs off, jabs at the advancing Aisha, but eats a crunching right hook to her jaw, which has her staggering back, just about covering herself as the bigger girl arrives with a jab, jab at her face, finishing the round with a savage left hook to Gemma’s body, the American showing her intent now.

Round 2

Gemma’s mobile for a big girl, and she’s not letting big Aisha get the leverage for that booming hook of hers, and she lands a decent shot herself, right in Aisha’s midriff, and the American stops, protecting herself as the blonde gives her a couple more thudding shots to her ribs, Aisha looking a little winded, needing to catch her breath, but she hits Gemma to the face with a left hook, right hook, again making the blonde backpedal, but she covers herself well to block the bigger girl’s right hook, takes a couple on the gloves, but does get caught with a left cross to her mouth, which has her shaking a little, that punch enough to catch the judges eyes as well as Gemma’s shiny lips.

Round 3

The girls trade punches in the opening seconds, Aisha landing a hard right to Gemma’s cheek, with the blonde swiping two of her own punches into Aisha’s face, the American having to concede ringspace as the blonde shocks her with her change of tactics so an almost suicidal assault. Standing back, standing tall, Aisha picks Gemma off with her jab, and tries to set Gemma up for a right hook, goes for one, and misses, then gets whipped across the jaw with a left hook herself, which seems to have dazed her, bacause she’s no longer making any real move to punish Gemma, the Brit getting really stuck into her, pummeling her to the body as the round draws to a close.

Round 4

Aisha’s looking confused – she expected an attack to her body but Gemma’s standing back more, waiting for Aisha to make the first move. But when Aisha decides to make the move, it’s clear that she’s played into the blonde’s hands again, Gemma swaying clear of the bigger girl’s clumsy hooks, ripping her own jabs and crosses into her face instead, her punches landing sweetly in Aisha’s face, the older actress looking lost here, tries to clinch, but takes a good whack to her liver, and her knees buckle from that shot, which has the added bonus for Gemma that it’s left her vulnerable to a sweet left cross, right hook combination to the face, the blonde sending the taller girl backwards and into the ropes, swishes a left hook across her face, but this time Aisha half blocks the punch and clinches, running down the clock as she leans into Gemma, needing to tire out the Brit.

Round 5

Gemma’s backs inside Aisha’s guard, flipping her jab, hook combination into the bigger girl’s face, Aisha getting frustrated, failing to find space for her own punches, and Gemma gives her a hard uppercut from really close range, shaking the bigger girl to her boots, and looks like she could be getting this job done, right up to the point where she eats a smacking straight right, followed by a left cross, and the blonde girl is suddenly in trouble, her head getting lifted up with Aisha’s own uppercut, Gemma staggering a little, covering, taking shots to her body as she bends forwards, feeling Aisha’s power for the first time since the second round, switching herself around, getting hit some more, but landing a right jab to Aisha’s mouth with the last punch of the round.

Round 6

Aisha advances on Gemma, swings a left hook at her face, Gemma avoiding that and, speeding up her work, she gives Aisha’s body punishment, the bigger girl unable to hold as the blonde hits her to the ribs again, Aisha groaning, tiring and starting to look weakened, Gemma whipping her left into her body, the big American turning her body, but taking shots to the other side of her body instead, the punches making her squeal, her gloves dropping, but Gemma’s remorseless, sending Aisha backwards again, the older girl sinking more and more, Gemma hurting her with a good shot to her belly, and now she wipes her gloves across Aisha’s face, the big girl’s head being flicked side to side, hair swishing, sweat and saliva being battered off her face, with Gemma closing the round down by giving the American a left hook to the liver, Aisha’s face creasing with anguish, her eyes filling with tears.

Round 7

Aisha’s doing her best to take the fight to Gemma, but the blonde’s too speedy for her now, the big girl maybe showing her age, and she’s hurt again, Gemma really landing those bodyshots, Aisha finding it hard to keep up with her, but as Gemma backs away she follows, gets slammed by a left uppercut, though, and hits the floor hard, the ring shaking at the impact. A struggling Aisha is on her feet again at 8, defending herself well, somehow keeping Gemma at bay by using her reach advantage, Gemma swishing and missing, although she gets in close in the final seconds, and hurts Aisha again with her left hook to the ribs.

Round 8

The knockdown has really disheartened Aisha, the big girl now way behind in this fight, needing a knockdown of her own – but she can’t deliver, because it’s all Gemma now, the fit blonde ripping her gloves into Aisha’s ribcage for fun as the action proceeds, Aisha still doing her best to keep the shorter girl at bay, but she’s inside the big girl’s guard again, banging at her tits, now her midsection, retreating nicely, then Aisha walks into a right hook to her mouth, looks like she may sit down, but steadies herself against the top rope, Gemma seeming to stand off, maybe expecting a stoppage from the referee, who lets the fight continue, Aisha actually landing on Gemma briefly with a left, right combination, but the blonde grins broadly, the punches lacking any real power, Gemma content to take another right jab as she lands a brace of punches to Aisha’s swollen lips to end another good round.

Round 9

Brave Aisha’s doing what she can, but it just isn’t enough, Gemma easily avoiding or blocking her punches in the first few seconds of the round, and she takes advantage of the bigger girl’s exhaustion to snap her head back with another uppercut, Aisha’s legs quivering as she snakes backwards across the ring, Gemma landing her left hook under her ribcage again, following with another left hook to the jaw, which sends Aisha to the canvas for a second time. Aisha’s half up, but her legs have gone, and she drops back to the canvas for the full 10 count, Gemma ecstatic as she stands in her corner, gloves alost.

Result: Gemma Atkinson knocked out Aisha Tyler in round 9.

Gemma’s made her mark on Aisha, who sits silently on her stool while the blonde takes the ovation, but how good is she? Time was not on Aisha’s side tonight, and that defeat may have made her realize her boxing days are close to an end for good.
