Writng: Archer Results: Knowlesey

Before: Foxfire Atlantic Boxing’s headquarters Black Swan Hall located in the countryside near Cardiff, Wales, was alive with action that night. Normally, only training occurred in the converted manor house, but tonight it would be hosting a live boxing “special event”.

Davina Sheffield of Archer News International was on hand to provide color for the broadcast that would go out to a worldwide audience.

“I must say that I am impressed at not only the size of the crowd here in former manor ballroom, but with the Pay-Per-View satellite and cable network that is carrying this bout to an international audience. Credit must go to Foxfire Atlantic’s managing director Kate Winslet. After BBU free agent Lacey Banghard invaded the Hall and slapped down FAB flyweight Juno Temple—all in the interests of getting a debut fight—Ms. Winslet decided to oblige by setting up this fight. It hasn’t hurt that the initial catfight between Juno and Lacey went viral. So here we are tonight and it looks like it would an exciting—and profitable night for all concerned.”

Soon enough, the two fighters made grand entrances to the ring, the challenger (and debuting fighter) Lacey Banghard strode to the ring with a red silk robe that she doffer to reveal red satin bra and panties trimmed with black lace. She wore red gloves and had her hair bound with a red silk hair ribbon. Lacey posed sexily once she mounted the ring and looked eager to go.

Then it was time for the veteran Juno Temple, there was a blast of trumpets and a voice boomed over a loudspeaker:

“Welcome to the Temple of Juno, all hail the Goddess of the BBU: all hail JUNO TEMPLE!”
Juno strode the ring wearing what looked like a classical white Greek tunic that covered her body down to her knees. The crowd was amused by Juno who smiled and nodded at those who cheered her. Once in the ring, she released a series of snaps and let the tunic be taken away by an attendant so that she stood there in elegant white with gold trim bra and panties. Her blonde hair was pulled back and braided with white and golden ribbons. Gold gloves completed her attire.

“As I expected,” Juno said looking Lacey up and down, “you’ve come dressed as cheap tart. You are hopeless Ms. Banghard. You clearly need to be taught a lesson by someone far superior to you: namely myself.”

Lacey just let out a big laugh: “You don’t say! Well, dearie, I’m just plain old Lacey Banghard, I don’t claim to be a goddess—I just claim to be the fighter who’ll starch you out in those plain jane knickers of yours!”

Juno’s eyes narrowed: “You will kneel and admit I am the True Goddess of the BBU.”

“And you will admit that I am a True Boxer of the BBU.” Lacey retorted.

The crowd loved all this interplay, but the referee was there to remind the ladies that there was TV schedule to meet. They nodded and eyed each other with contempt as he rattled off his instructions. They made a passing effort to touch gloves that ended and went to their corners to await the bell. After a few moments it came and the crowd cheered as the fighters headed towards each other with determination.

R1: Juno seizes the initiative quickly with whipping punches that knock Lacey’s head from side to side as the rookie tries to close on her. Lacey looks stunned and is sluggish at getting her jab going. Juno more than happy to take advantage by stepping in to punch Lacey’s belly and then throw him some sweeping rights and lefts to Lacey’s bulging breast cups. Lacey looks indignant at this boob abuse and recklessly rushes at Juno swinging wildly. Amateurish windmilling attack easy for Juno to evade and counter with more shots into Lacey’s proud rack and a couple of nice straight rights into the rookie’s lovely. Lacey manages to get her guard up to protect her chest and head, but this allows Juno to feast on those undefended ribs and belly. Lacey’s face twists in discomfort, but she isn’t jabbing well enough to keep Juno back. Round ends a clear Juno Temple win. Lacey looks frustrated and concerned as she slowly returns to her corner.

R2: Juno back on Lacey’s body and she’s really making the rookie feel those punches. Lacey’s own punching losing steam as she tries to cover up to protect her body. Juno happily shifts her fire to looping leather over Lacey’s gloves to push back her chin, slap her jaw around and finally lands a solid blow on Lacey’s left eye. Lacey stumbles back. Area around the eye quickly swelling, but shot seems to galvanize Lacey into remembering her boxing training. She finally gets an effective jab going that works over Juno’s own proud (if more modest) rack that gets a look of displeasure from the FAB boxer. Then Lacey does a nice job of pounding hooks into Juno’s belly to lower her guard and then making a nifty right cross/left hook/right uppercut to Juno’s jaws and chin. Juno forced to concede ground as Lacey pursues, though she can’t break through again. Late flourish gets Lacey her first ever BBU round and she smiles happily even though that right eye is red and swollen. Juno looks annoyed, but not worried at this unexpected resistance from the newcomer.

R3: Lacey on the offensive! Yes, she is! The rookie shows confidence bounding out of her corner and putting leather on Juno Temple. First to the belly, then banging upwards to pound those tits and then Lacey able to lean in and smite Juno face from side to side. However Juno steps back, but ducks down to fire powerful hooks up into Lacey’s belly and breasts. Those final breast shots are straight rights and lefts that seem to knock the air out of the rookie’s lungs. Lacey freezes and Juno rams two more hooks into Lacey’s belly. Lacey’s mouthpiece blows out of her mouth and she crashes to her knees. She kneels there, her arms wrapped around her body as the referee starts to count. Lacey makes a great effort and is on her feet by the time the count reaches 9. Mouthpiece cleaned and replaced, Lacey resumes action, but she is a shaken fighter. Juno Temple swarming all over the rookie and just banging her body and head as Lacey huddles face in gloves (apparently too confused to think of clinching to buy herself some respite. Lacey still on her feet at the bell, but now her left eye is red and swollen to go with the right which gives every sign of turning into an impressive black eye. Lacey trudging back to her stool looking poorly and Juno Temple smiles with satisfaction.

R4: Juno Temple gets playful in this round. She starts using feints and draws to trick Lacey into making punches that either glance off or hit empty air. Catcalls and derisive laughter can be heard after one of these “air punches”. Juno grins mischievously as Lacey looks angry and frustrated, but this only serves to allow Juno to continue to show the rookie some slick moves. Juno hasn’t given up punching, she follows up a Lacey miss with a counter than inflicts more damage to her face and body, whichever is the handier. Lacey starting pant noticeable as sweat pour down her body making Juno’s punches land with a peculiar wet SMACK. Twitter fans start texting “LOOKS LIKE L’S BLOWING HARD NOT BANGING HARD!” Lacey is at least spared this humiliation, but not much else as Juno scores another round.

R5: Juno even more mobile on her legs at the start of this round, moving gracefully around the beleaguered Lacey who looks confused as punches slam into her from unexpected directions. As Juno floundered, a cocky grin grows on Juno’s face and, in the final seconds. she steps back to wave Lacey in with a “Give me your best shot, dearie!” gesture. Lacey looks at Juno through her swollen, blackening eyes and starts forward, making a move to the left that draws Juno’s attention. LACEY NAILS JUNO WITH AN ALL-IN SWINGING RIGHT HOOK TO THE EAR! Juno’s been suckering Lacey with feints—now the rookie shows she can do that too! Blow whips Juno’s head around with such force that her braided hair comes loose, splattering across her face. The blonde’s legs lock and she is pitched to the canvas! There is a moment of stunned silence as the crowd gapes at the sight of Juno Temple now sprawled on her face. Even Lacey looks surprised and stands there staring at the sight. The spell is broken when the bell rings to end the round. Many in the crowd groan to realize Juno’s just been saved by the bell! Crowd then breaks into wild cheers for Lacey Banghard as she returns to her corner (raising her right arm to acknowledge this sudden burst of support). Meanwhile FAB corner people rush to half-carry, half –drag Juno to her stool.

R6: Lots of between-round action as the referee and other officials wonder if Juno should be allowed to come out. She looks glassy-eyed, but fighting spirit still there and she insists to her trainer and the officials that she can continue. They all look doubtful, but give way on the issue. As the bell ring, it quickly becomes clear that the fight should have been stopped, Juno valiantly tries to move towards Lacey, but her legs are trembling and seem gone for the evening. Lacey wastes no time in closing in, knocking aside Juno’s feeble jab and smashing a left/right uppercut series into the FAB fighter’s chin. DOWN GOES JUNO! The blonde knocked backwards up by the uppercut, crashes onto the canvas, arms and legs spread wide in a starfish pattern. Lacey goes to the neutral corner, but the referee doesn’t bother to count. He raises Lacey’s arm in victory as the bell rings signaling the rookie’s debut is also a shocking upset win.

The Winner: Lacey Banghard KO6

After: Poor Juno Temple paid the price for overconfidence. She continues to pay the price after she’s been revived on her stool. A euphoric Lacey Banghard can’t wait to get out of her gloves and push her way into the FAB corner. Juno looks up at the brunette with a stunned expression—she still can’t believe what’s happened. Unfortunately, it only gets worse as Lacey straddles the seated Juno and pulls the blonde’s face into her bulging rack! June is being tit smothered out in her own ring! Lacey has her arms wrapped firmly around Juno’s head and keeps it up until Juno is sleeping peaceful. Then she gently lowers Juno against the turnbuckle and strides away waving one of Juno’s gold hair ribbons as a trophy.

“Oh it was a wonderful night,” Lacey tells Davina Sheffield as she’s exiting the ballroom, “I admit Juno’s the better boxer, but she got careless and I never gave up on myself. Even when she was beating on me I was looking for my chance and I finally got it. The smother? Well, Juno didn’t respect me and now she will. Who is next? I’ve had feelers from Jessica Jane Clement. We’ll see what happens now! Oh, I will never forget this night!”

Davina looks over as a distraught Juno Temple is led from the ballroom and comments: “I don’t think Juno Temple will forget this night either. This is Davina Sheffield, signing off from Black Swan Hall, Cardiff. Thank you and good night.”
