DISNEY & NICKELODEON CHALLENGE BOUTS PART THREE

There’s plenty of rivalry between these two girls, with Selena having beaten Victoria in their BBU bout last year, the older Selena maybe favourite tonight after her victory over Debby Ryan

Victoria’s wearing a red bikini, boots and gloves tonight, with Selena in a black leather basque with white gloves and boots.

Round 1

Both girls are trying each other out early on in the opening round, each of them landing jabs, neither girl wanting to give ground, as they circle and send out neat, snapping punches, but Victoria overstretches, and Selena hits her hard to her body, but Victoria isn’t retreating really, takes a good left hook to the ribs, Selena working hard as she tries to move Victoria around the ring, but Victoria’s getting more punches through to Selena’s face, moving nicely as well, Selena almost sluggish by comparison, not landing enough good shots to prevent Victoria winning the round.

Round 2

Victoria’s quick around the ring tonight, and she’s outpacing her opponent, dicatating this fight and stabbing Selena’s face with jabs, the older girl being forced to rock back, letting Victoria have the centre of the ring in this round. Selena clinches to stop Victoria’s progress, the Lioness Club girl more defensive than the Kears Kat babe, but she’s still landing leather when she can, working more on Victoria’s body than trying to inflict the hammer blows to her face, and she’s maybe just biding her time, waiting for Victoria to tire, or perhaps make a mistake.

Round 3

Still Victoria seems quicker, but Selena’s landing more heavily to her body now, and she takes some wind out of her with a solid punch to the belly, bending her girl a little, at last gaining momentum, moving the younger girl backwards, hits her again to the body, this time just under her ribs, and she follows up with a neat little combination to the head, jab, cross landing smack, smack, Victoria going backwards for the first time in this fight, with Selena following throwing another brace of good punches to her face, hurting her with a solid right hook in the mouth, immediately drawing blood. Victoria’s reacting well to taking that shot, ignores her swelling lip, and she’s landing on Selena in a late flurry of action, although Selena’s taken the round.

Round 4

These girls are looking well matched tonight, but now Selena’s starting to take Victoria on and stands toe to toe, gives her a left hook to the mouth this time, but Victoria’s more than ready, and she slams a left and a right into Selena’s face, sending her backwards in a hurry, and she’s put her onto the ropes, where she’s trying to dish out some heavy blows, but although she gives her a few hard shots, Selena’s a better defensive boxer than she was when she started fighting in FCBA, and she’s blocking well, clinching, too, and even hits back in the closing seconds with bodyshots, but overall that’s been a big round for Victoria.

Round 5

Now the girls are both loosened up, and they trade big shots in the centre of the ring, each cracking home their leading jab, but Victoria’s not getting any secondary punches through Selena’s guard, but she takes a right hook from Selena, the older girl’s right glove hurting Victoria again and sending her backwards, the younger girl looking troubled, and Selena hits her in the body again, and once more she hurts her with a ripper of a right hook, Victoria teetering, but bravely fighting back, jabbing successfully at Selena, who still hurts her again, Victoria so open to that damaging punch tonight, and both her lips are now bleeding as Selena wins that round with something to spare.

Round 6

Out come the girls again, both sticking out their jab, but Selena’s punches seem stiffer than Victoria, and now she’s really giving Victoria a beating, the opening seconds of the sixth seeing the girl in trouble and under pressure as the punches smack home, her lips dribbling blood as Selena becomes more dominant, but she’s also becoming casual, spending time showboating, inviting Victoria to hit her, and she gets tagged, her punching losing accuracy as a result, and Victoria claws her way back into the fight, gets some breath back and flips out some sound jabs, Selena not really being hurt, but she’s an easy target for Victoria, not making enough effort against what is a good opponent.

Round 7

Selena’s definitely taking things too easy, and she pays the penalty as Victoria slots home a jab, cross, jab combo, taking her by surprise, Selena’s corner screaming at her to get a grip. Now a wounded Selena fights back, but she’s missing with her bigger shots, and she’s getting tagged with Victoria’s jab, which has bruised her cheek a little, Victoria now taking the opportunity to stuff a pair of stinging hooks, pokes Selena to the face again, closing in on her but Selena’s getting back into the round a little and she punches her way off the ropes, skidding her shots across Victoria’s face, but she hasn’t done enough in this round, and knows it.

Round 8

Selena received a real talking to after her lapses in rounds 6 and 7, and Victoria’s barely got her butt off her stool when Selena starts on her, landing three, four, five hard punches to her face, cutting her right eyebrow in the process, Victoria wobbly and a little dazed, holding and clinching, but she’s getting roughed up inside, really being sorted out now by a scowling Selena Gomez, who simply pokes her back into the ropes, as she tries to jab her way out of trouble, Selena sweeping her across the face with either hand, Victoria looking forlorn, the drubbing she’s taking in this round setting her up to be finished off, perhaps, the girl’s face streaked with blood from her eye and her lips, her legs moving in rubber-like fashion as she plods back to her corner, with Selena looking triumphant.

Round 9

Selena again goes for Victoria immediately, a good left hook smacking her head sideways, but as she tries to slam Victoria with her right hook, the younger girl smacks her right up under the ribs with a left, making her squeal out in pain. Victoria’s definitely wounded Selena with that shot, and she whistles a right uppercut up and across her face, enough glove landing to start a trickle of blood flowing from Selena’s nostrils. After looking on the verge of victory, Selena now has to clinch and hang on, making sure Victoria has to work hard to hit her, defending her face, but still getting hammered to the body, as Victoria gets herself back into the fight again.

Round 10

Victoria moves to touch gloves, but Selena isn’t interested, and she hits Victoria with her left hook’ landing it beautifully of the girl’s cheek, Victoria quickly going backwards. But, with Selena unable to use her right hand too much, Victoria gets her punches through her guard, tries so hard to trap her in a corner, but Selena hurts her again with her left, Victoria staggering, looking shattered, but she still wants to mix it up with a girl only able to use one hand properly, and despite her attempts to take Selena on in a punchout, she seems to have enough in reserve to keep the younger girl at bay, clinching and holding, leaning on her to sap her energy, the clock ticking down, and Selena shakes Victoria her to her boots in the final moments of the fight with another good left, Victoria’s gumshield flying from her mouth as a result of that crushing blow.

The judges will decide the result:

Result Selena Gomez beat Victoria Justice on points.

It was close, but in the end unanimous, and that big 8th round won it for Selena, who stands in the centre of the ring, grinning, and demanding a fight with Miley Cyrus as her next opponent. Who will Victoria fight next though? Daniella Monet seems keen!
