Olivia Munn (Sceej Boxing) vs. Elodie Frege (Latin Union)

BEFORE:

Frege never one to back down from anything, proves it again by following up a loss to the very physical Anna Silk with a fight against as physical a bantam as you're going to find, former champ Olivia Munn.

"This girl," says Munn, shaking her head with a smile. "Give her credit for having guts. I mean, she gets poleaxed by Silk and then she wants to try ME on? She might be lacking brains, but, like I said, she's got guts."

"I am not afraid of Munn," says Elodie, eyes shining. "I am better than she is, and I will prove it!"

ROUND ONE:

Frege quickly makes with the jab, wants to box Olivia, but Munn, so unorthodox, isn't having any. She's charging forward, shoving Elodie out of her stance, banging body, wrestling in there. Oli thumping hooks to frame, pushing the French beauty around. Frege fires back, punching for respect, but Munn respects no one. She just keeps banging away, brawling, wrestling, thumping body. Frege not quite disorganized, but definitely out of sorts, can't get into any kind of rhythm as Munn just keeps at her, throwing leather from crazy angles and putting body all over her right to the bell. Munn 10-9 after one.

ROUND TWO:

Frege knew this was coming, had to. She'd seen video and she knows Oli's rep. So, when Munn comes steaming after her in the second, Elodie retreats in good order to the ropes and goes into the pocket. Munn immediately lays siege, but Frege knows what she's doing in there, as we've seen before. She's slick, picking off Munn's punches and countering well. She's rolling the shoulders and head with other blows, dodging, deflecting. Munn undeterred by the defenses or the counters, just keeps banging away, but Frege's getting the better of things, getting her work done. Outscoring Munn in a close one to tie things up at 19.

ROUND THREE:

Frege in the pocket and Munn on the attack. And, Olivia's response to Elodie's pocket fighting is similar to her response to just about anything in the ring, more aggression. Munn begins firing away in the opening seconds, determined to reduce Frege, despite Elodie's impressive defenses. Munn's barrage of leather has the desired effect. Frege is quickly suppressed. She's only countering in spots now, mostly keeping the guard high to block blow after blow. Munn swinging away, bringing the haymakers, buffeting Frege's head side to side as she pounds punches off her guard. Elodie not hurt, but she's not doing much of anything either. It's all Munn bell to bell and Olivia pulls back in front 29-28.

ROUND FOUR:

Munn right back to work with the siege engines. Frege in the pocket, playing defense and countering. Munn's aggression a bit more controlled this round. She's still doing a lot of work, but not at the suppression level of round four. Elodie able to get off in counter and score with both hands. Good, two-way stuff for two minutes and then DOWN GOES FREGE! No build up. Just one big shot, a short right uppercut that drops the French beauty like a ragdoll along the ropes. Frege bounces off the ropes and falls face down, unmoving, as Munn bounces away all smiles. Elodie never moves an inch as the count passes her by. She's out, and the winner by KO4 is Olivia Munn!

AFTER:

Munn all smiles, still out of breath and covered with sweat from her siege efforts. "No way could this girl handle me, no WAY," Oli says. "Take nothing away from her, she's not a bad fighter, but she was in there with the best, strongest, most physical, hardest-hitting bantam on the PLANET. You heard me! The best! Better than Britney. Better than Lilly. Better than McAdams. Better than Danes. And better than that little girl wearing the belts, the one who's ducking me! The best! And I'm going to sew a path of destruction through this division until VanCamp has NO CHOICE but to stop fighting little girls and take on a real woman!"
