Before: Lawrence usually the 'big girl' in most of her fights, definitely giving up height (4”) and weight (probably only a few pounds - if any at all. Since both girls made weight, this will be a lightweight bout, but don't be surprised if Palicki looks much the bulkier as she can carry the weight with her nearly six foot height). Lawrence owns one definite advantage, she's seven years younger than the 31 y/o Adrienne. And it could be an advantage having Charlize Theron to spar with - Ginny's Academy being one of those stables who tries to get someone close to an opponent's size to help give their ladies a mental image as they prep for a big fight. Charlize dropped a KO6 to Palicki in 2011 and there's some questions from the media about just how much help she can be to J-Law.

With all the talk about Lawrence, who IS a rising star and one of the hottest properties in Hollywood, it's easy to see why Adrienne Palicki would be fired up for this fight. Hearing her talk, it's easy to imagine she can't wait to put her gloves on Jennifer's “plump young body” - a phrase, by the way, Palicki adamantly denies using, despite media reports to the contrary. One more thing that may work to Palicki's advantage, is “Hackergate”. The theft and publication of racy - some who've seen them even use the word “scandalous” to describe them, but Lawrence has admitted, somewhat blushingly, that, yes, the photos purported to have come from her account are indeed her. But nevertheless, it has to be a major distraction for the 22 year old actress on the eve of what could be her breakout fight.

Like Lawrence, Palicki seems to be on the verge of turning her career around. The thirty-one year old is at the age when a lot of athletes hit their peak seasons, and that could be the case with Adrianne now. Earlier this year, she dropped Kelly Brook with a stunning right hand that turned out Brooks lights in the fourth round. Her next outing was sturdy Amanda Righetti who was a top ranked lightweight at the time. Palicki gave Righetti all she could handle and more over nine grueling rounds before Righetti eked out a narrow decision. Adrienne's latest against supermodel Adriana Lima started badly, with the Brazilian model coming out with all guns firing in the early going. Down the stretch, however, Palicki kicked it into another gear and ran the model down in the late rounds to put Lima to bed in the ninth round when the referee called a halt.

Lawrence on Palicki: She's tough and experienced, but I don't think she's ready for a young gun like me. I've seen she struggles when her opponent gets off to a fast start, so I plan to get on top of her from the opening gun. You know when I lay down the J-Law, she'll have to surrender. Still, you can't get careless; she beat Biel and Ruah, and they're not chopped liver!

Palicki on Lawrence: You all saw the so-called 'hacked' photos. The girls body is soft, soft, soft. There, I said it. If she has any chance against me it's early. She builds a bit lead in the first two-three rounds she can be hard to beat. But with the abuse I'll inflict on her tummy, by the ninth-tenth round, she won't be able to breathe, let alone punch.

Adrienne in her signature orange, yellow, black and red 'dazzle pattern' bikini and black footwear. Lawrence, now that she's no longer got anything to hide, breaks out a itty-bitty, sky blue, string bikini; twist tied at the hips and between the triangle breast coverings. Taking a page from Theron's book, J-Law's bare foot, thinking better traction will help her footwork which had been criticized in some earlier fights.

During R1: Lawrence jumping out quickly, whistling punches from all angles, forcing Palicki onto the defensive from the get-go. Adrienne fighting her way through the barrage, getting inside where she sets up and goes to work on J-Law's body per her gameplan. Palicki pounding Lawrence back onto the ropes, not giving her any chance of escape. Jen trapped in her own corner, forced to trade body shots with the powerful Palicki. J-Law pushes off, throws a big overhand right. LAWRENCE GETS ROCKED! Palicki doubled up on left hooks to the body put Jen Lawrence in trouble mid-way. Jennifer forced to clinch, giving Adrienne another opportunity to pummel paunch! J-LAW'S IN TROUBLE! Lawrence being buffeted sideways along the ropes; Palicki just loading up and pounding away with both fists. Adrienne's trying to end this in the first round with an all-out body attack. Closing seconds, Lawrence knees buckled by another body shot. Big round AP as she makes a 10-8 deposit in her account. Slow start dooms J-Law's hope for a quick jump out of the gate.

R2: Youngster recovers rapidly. Jen puts the first round in her rear view mirror and comes out working her plan. Lawrence sticking and moving, circling left with her jab constantly in Palicki's face. Lawrence's jab is well advanced for such a young fighter, showing how well she's listened to pros like Theron, Bell and Stone. Palicki unable to establish herself this round with Lawrence refusing to give her the same kind of openings she did in the first round. Lawrence using more combinations; hooking with the left and dropping her good right in over Palicki's left shoulder. Adrienne looking frustrated as the round comes to a close, unable to revisit her early round success. Solid comeback in a 10-9 round as J-Law rights the ship after wasting time headhunting in Rd 1.

R3: If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Lawrence right back to her basic plan; stick and move; mix in enough right hands to keep Palicki honest; and don't take chances. Lawrence's feet dominate this round, she's got younger legs and she's not afraid to use 'em. Palicki consistently being beaten to the punch. It's just by a hair, but J-Law is getting off quicker than Adrienne. Another round for Lawrence draws her even on the scorecards after three rounds. Young starlet showing she can overcome a slow start as she wins the round, close.

R4: Palicki's people in her face between rounds, she's getting the old “finger wagging” treatment and, judging from her expression, it's not being well received! Adrienne out a different fighter this round, switching lefty a couple of times to bamboozle Lawrence, who seems clueless about how to respond. J-Law still rotating left, walking into low right hands coming up under her left jab. DOWN GOES LAWRENCE! Innocuous looking left hook to the belly hurts J-Law and a follow-on right cross to her exposed jawline drops the young blonde to her knees! Palicki struts away arms raised, leaving Jen to crawl around on all fours looking for her mouthpiece. Girl's up at seven, arching her back and trying to get some air back into her as the referee checks her gloves and replaces her mouth guard. Lawrence backing off tentatively as Palicki pursues to finish. Palicki able to cut off the ring and pressure J-Law along the ropes for the rest of the round; targeting Jen's mid-section. Lawrence throwing enough right hands off the ropes to make Adrienne respectful. At the bell, Palicki chests up, forcing Lawrence to make eye contact, sending a message to her youthful rival. Shutout Palicki who sprints back into the lead after four.

R5: Palicki pitches a shutout! Adrienne's feeling it now; her posture upbeat; her mein aggressive. Palicki punching with both fists, shaking Lawrence with hard body shots in the opening minute; then going to the head whenever her hands drop in protection. J-Law just can't get untracked, being driven along the ropes from corner to corner to corner. Lawrence digging deep; fighting back in short spurts, but it's all Palicki all the time. Adrianne wins the round with a shutout, working over J-Law's middle.

R6: Lawrence's corner frantically plotting ways to stop the bleeding. Jen out trying to get back on the offense, but Palicki's using her size to bully the youngster around the ring. Adrienne walking through J-Law's jab, shrugging it off to pound more low right hands to the ribs. Left hooks dig deep in J-Law's abs, breaking her body down along the ropes. JEN'S HURT! One, two, three left hooks in a row to the body leave Lawrence hanging on up high; both arms wrapped around Palicki's torso; trapping her arms at her sides. Adrienne tries to throw her off but the referee intervenes to stop a wrestling match from breaking out. Palicki uses both hands on her chest to push Lawrence back to the ropes, then sets up in close with her thigh wedged between Lawrence's legs, her upper body pressing J-Law backward over the top rope as she hammers away with both fists to the body. BIG RIGHT BY PALICKI PUTS LAWRENCE DOWN! Jen Lawrence just beat to the canvas by big Adrienne Palicki. Lawrence is up, but rocky, at six; referee giving her a good, close, looking over, before allowing it to continue. J-Law just hanging on for the final twenty-thirty seconds, not throwing any punches, just grabbing and hanging on to the bell. Another one-sided round for Palicki who is leaving J-Law in the dust thru 6!

R7: Youthful pride and arrogance! Jennifer sucking it up, coming out determined to draw a line on the mat. She opens with a lead right hand that finds Palicki's unexpecting cheek and snaps her head to the side. Lawrence with a snapping left hook, then another right as Palicki tries to get her feet under her. Jen battering Adrienne across the ring, but with her back on the ropes Palicki steadies and they trade to the body along the ropes and in the corner. PALICKI'S HURT! A left hook rocks Adrienne midway in the round, then DOWN GOES ADRIENNE! A short uppercut gets through clean and unhinges Palicki's knees. She stumbles forward into a left that gets enough of her to put her on her knees. Lawrence looking a little surprised as she meanders to her corner where she gets encouragement from her support team. J-Law slapping her gloves together eagerly as Palicki gathers herself at mid-ring, then comes boring in on the attack. At the bell, the crowd are on their feet and Lawrence's corner is ecstatic. She's turned the corner and is starting to mount her comeback with a shutout round of her own.

R8: It's a rejuvenated and reinvigorated Jennifer Lawrence who comes forward to faceoff with Palicki this round. Her fans aren't disappointed; she picks up right where she left off in the seventh. J-Law rocks Palicki with a left-right combo, then again with a left hook low to the mid-section. The girl's on fire! Lawrence feeling it now, up on her toes, circling and popping the left in Adrienne's face, PIK! PAK! PEK! Jennifer starting to steamroll the fading older actress as she is coming straight after her with straight powerful lefts and rights. Palicki forced back on her heels as Lawrence is on a roll big time! Late in the round, Palicki settles down, starts to reestablish the left and things smooth out for her. Still, at the bell, Jennifer Lawrence is the one bouncing to her corner with arms raised; Palicki plodding pedantically back to her pedestal for another scolding! Still another big one-sided round J-Law!

R9: Jennifer up and pawing at the mat, eager to get back to biznezz! Last minute whisper in Palicki's ear from a concerned corner who sends her off with a slap on the rump. An even round with both fighters establishing, then coughing up, the advantage. It's Palicki in the opening minute, power punching paunch to slow Lawrence's resurgence; then in the middle minute, Jennifer re-establishes her dominance, driving Adrienne back to the ropes and working over her bra with some back and forth scrubbing action that has fans on their feet praying for a “fabric failure” - alas, they're disappointed. The closing minute sees more back-and-forth with Lawrence having a slight edge. Until the final seconds when Palicki chin-checks Jennifer to put a wobble in her smooth thighs. Close round splits the judges vote, but it's Palicki by a narrow margin.

R10: Lawrence, behind on all cards starting the tenth, knows her only hope is a KO. She comes out firing, throwing caution to the wind and it's paying off as she rocks Adrienne early and often. Then Palicki comes back with a one-two of her own and they clinch right above Lawrence's corner.

Theron, sitting ringside, mutters to Amanda Seyfried, “It's like the Trojan War; she'll either win this or she'll get carried home on her shield.” Then she yells at the ring, “Get your left up....LEFT!” Charlize grimaces and looks away as Palicki staggers Lawrence with a short, chopping, right hand, then guts the wobbly young starlet with a brutal left hook below the belly button - barely above Jen's low riding g-string bikini bottom. J-Law spits out her mouthpiece and doubles over, her pawing hands grabbing at Adrienne's hips as she struggles to keep her feet. Palicki squats and lifts Jennifer under the arms, shoving her back to make room. Then she rears back and drives a straight right square into Lawrence's bulging left breast. J-Law squeals and crumples clutching her chest, then pitches forward on her face, writhing and squirming in pain; her feet beating a tattoo on the canvas. Tears pour down her red, flushed, cheeks as the referee counts. But there's no will to get up and Lawrence doesn't even try, just rolls from side to side, writhing and sobbing. KO10 Adrienne Palicki!

After: “The girl's got talent,” Adrienne Palicki declares postfight. “She's raw, but she can hit and she just won't back down. Though maybe, sometimes that would be the prudent thing to do.”

Asked about Lawrence's conditioning, Palicki shrugged. “We went ten hard rounds and she was still punching hard at the end, so I have to admit I may have erred in saying she didn't have the stamina to go the route. I'd hate to have to face her in four, five, or six years, after she's got some tough competition under her belt, because right now she's a tough out!”

Lawrence, a bit late arriving - and holding an ice pack to her bosom - acknowledged Palicki's superiority, “....on this occasion, tonight, she was the better fighter. Next time, who knows? I only know I won't be happy until I face her again and then we'll see who's body reigns supreme.”
