TESS VALMORE

GRAHAM/ HALE Lots of action in this bout. The two fought evenly through the first four, each winning two rounds. Graham forged ahead by winning rounds five and six. The lead was short lived as Hale floored Graham in the seventh. Hale ended the fight in the ninth when she turned Graham’s lights out with a right cross. After a horrible start, this was Hale’s sixth straight win

MITCHELL/ HOLT Holt came out blazing in the first, putting Mitchell on the canvas. She followed up by taking rounds two and three. Mitchell finally got on the cards in the fourth. Holt took the fifth thanks to a foul that wasn’t called. Mitchell got even by decking Holt in the sixth. In the seventh Holt landed a left to the liver and then right uppercut to Mitchell’s chin. Mitchell went down and out

MICHALKA/ VANDERVOORT Michalka took the two of the first three rounds, having Vandervoort hurt in the third. The fight turned around in the fourth. Vandervoort worked Michalka’s body bring down her hands and then went headhunting and Michalka went down but was saved by the bell. She wasn’t saved long, as in the fifth a left jab and a right cross put Michalka down for good

LIMA/ SWANEPOEL When Miss Ginny releases a fighter from the Academy there has to be a reason, especially if that fighter was a compatriot of Theron’s. Lima showed us why. It took her less than three rounds to dispose of Swanepoel. She worked Swanepoel over from the beginnng of the third round until Candice went down. Swanepoel managed to get to her feet, but Lima used her for target practice until the referee stepped in and stopped the bout.

PANETTIERE/ SCERBO This was a tough fight for me to watch as everyone knows Cassandra Lynn is my BBF. I thought she was going to win when she floored Hayden in the second. It was not to be as Panettiere took round three and then worked Scerbo’s body in the fourth until Cassie was hanging on Hayden. Panettiere then unleashed a right uppercut that sent Scerbo down for the count.

FISHEL/ GREENE There is something about worn out Hall Of Fame members. They refuse to admit it O’Dell and Garner knew when to go. Bell, Theron and Fishel do not. You might say Fishel was competitive. It’s not about being competitive. It’s about winning. She didn’t Yes the bout was even at the end of four. A right uppercut to the chin put Fishel on the canvas towards the end of the fifth. She was still groggy as she came out for the sixth. It didn’t take Greene long to unleash a body attack that put Fishel face down on the canvas for the count
