TESS VALMORE

KANE/ MASLANY. The crowd was still streaming in as the two minor celebrities opened up the PPV card. Maslany dominated early taking three of the first four rounds. The fight swung to Kane"s favor in the fifth, when she opened a cut over Maslany's Right eye. In the sixth, Kane decked Maslany with a right to the rib and then did some chin checking that sent Maslany down. Maslany got to her feet only to be.punched into a stupor and the fight was stopped.

GHADIE/ MEESTER. GhadIe looked very competitive early, but Meestere Took control of the bout in the third. Meester floored GhadIe in the sixth and twice in the eighth. The second resulted in GhadIe being counted out

DAVIDSON/ SEYDOUX. DAVIDSON was slightly ahead at the end of three. It was downhill for Davidson after that. Seydoux put Davidson on the canvas in the sixth and finished her off with a right to the chin in the seventh

KEEGAN/ CHUNG. The fight was competitive through the first five rounds with Chung having a slight lead. Keegan dominated the second half of the fight, flooring Chung in the seventh. Keegan took the last five rounds to get the decision

PIETERSE/. PANABAKER. This bout was similar to the previous contest. The fight was even at the end of four. Panabaker took charge in the fifth, decking PIeterse in the seventh and finishing her off in the eighth. I just hate it when blondes lose

SIMPSON /. LOWNDES. This was JMD so I drifted down to the bar and discussed the state of the Argentinian economy with Clyde, one of my favorite mixologists

VEGA/ HUDGENS . Another competitive bout. The contest was even at two, even at four and even at six. It suddenly ended halfway through the seventh, when Hudgens landed a right hand counter right on the button. Vega was counted out. I just hate it when blondes are counted out

FOX/ PANETTIERE. As in earlier fights, this bout was even at the end of four. Panettiere put some hurt on Fox in the fifth, sending her back to her corner with a bloody nose.m In the sixth, Hayden caught Fox with a right to the solar plexus that set up a series of punches that ended with a roundhouse right to the jaw that ended Fox's night. Good to Hayden win. I see her around Nashville every once in a while

DUSHKU/ VAUGIER. Dushku got off to a fine start taking three of the first four rounds. Vaugier managed to slow down the D-train in the fifth, but the slow down was only temporary. Dushku used a body attack to put Vaugier on the canvas in the sixth. Vaugier would not last the seventh as Eliza battered her until the referee stopped the fight

CASSIDY/ WILDE. Wilde won the first two rounds and Cassidy the next three. Wilde evened the fight in the sixth and took the lead in the seventh. In the eighth, Wilde battered Cassidy almost at will. Cassidy had nothing left at the beginning of the ninth. She didn't finish the round as Wilde knocked her out with a right to the jaw

MUNN/ FREGE. Munn took the first round. Frege took the second. In the third, Munn managed to land some blockbusters to Frege's head. Those punches may have hurt Frege, but it was a short right uppercut in the fourth that put her down for the count

ACCOLA/ OLSEN As we have seen so many times in this PPV so far, the bout was even at the end of four. Olsen softened up Accola at the end of the fifth. In the sixth, once again, it was a single punch, a blistering right to the chin that put Accola down for the count

McADAMS/ M. KELLY. A fight with title shot implications. A win would put McAdams in position to challenge for the title. Once again, the bout was even at the end of four In the fifth, a booming right hand sent McAdams to the canvas. She made it to her feet. Only to fall victim to a blistering Kelly attack that left McAdams staggering along the ropes. The referee stepped in and stopped the fight with only thirty seconds left in the round.

MICHALKA/ VALANCE. After the two split the first two rounds, Michalka took control of the bout. Valance had a rough fourth round and.by the beginning of the fifth, the hand writing was on the wall. Valance was battered in the fifth and sixth. It Was a beaten fighter who came out in the seventh to face Michalka. It was a Michalka right to the jaw that ended the fight

GILLIAN/ NICHOLS. Gillian didn't win this fight and I don't believe anyone expected her to do so. certainly I didn't. She did much better than I expected. She gave Nichols a tough fight and was slightly behind at the end of rhe seventh. She certainly had a chance to win. Nichols repeatedly landed jabs to Gillian's chin in the eighth. In the ninth, a Rachel body attack put Gillian on the canvas. Gillian managed to get to her feet, but was no longer competitive. She was hanging in the ropes when the referee finally stopped the bout

PEREGRYM/ BROOK. This was quite a fight. Peregrym got off to a good start taking the first three rounds. Brook, who is known to be a big puncher, then took the next four rounds Including a fourth round knockdown. In the eighth, Brook made a huge mistake of showboating and got nailed by Missy who tore into Brook, decking her towards the end of the round. Peregrym punched Brook almost at will in the ninth and tenth rounds flooring Brook again I'm the tenth.
Once again Brook got up only to take more punishment. The red finally stepped in and stopped the fight

PALICKI/ LAWRENCE. Lawrence has a considerable disadvantage in height but she was in the lead at the end of three. Palicki then came on to floor Lawrence in the fourth and again in the sixth. Lawrence, then came back to deck Palicki in the seventh and won the eighth. Palicki managed to grab the ninth. Lawrence was behind by one round and one knockdown. She needed a big round to win. She didn't get it as a left to her stomach and another to her bra left her on the canvas as the count passes her by

CORNISH/ REGAN. Despite Regan"s recent troubles, we thought this was a mismatch. Actually, it was a mismatch. Sure, Cornish took the first round. It you knew it was only a matter of time. In the second, Regan gave Cornish a terrific bearing. In the third, Bridget floored Cornish who made the mistake of getting up. Regan, then pounded Cormish into oblivion until the bout was stopped

UPTON/ BLOODGOOD. Upton pitched a shutout taking every round that the bout lasted.mThere was some wild punching, but it mostly went Upton's way. The bout climaxed in the sixth When Upton floored Bloodgood. Bloodgood managed to get to her feet And come back to brawl, but another Upton crusher put Moon down for the count

NOLIN/ C. BELL. I must admit that I was distracted during this fight by my broadcast partner's insipid remarks. I also admit I was surprised they got Theron to referee. As usual this bout was a travesty. As usual Nolin won by committing horrendous fouls. She head butted, hit below the belt, and used her favorite croth punch to KO Bell. I would like to correct one thing I said during the broadcast. Nolin is NOT in the Hall Of Fame and never will be. The Hall is not for cheaters

VANCAMP/ BELLISARIO. This bout was for the bantam title. As happened so often in this card the two were even through four. Bellisario floored the champ in the fifth and took the sixth to have a big lead VanCamp somehow managed to win the seventh and then put Bellisario on the canvas in the eighth to even the fight. VanCamp then salted the fight away by taking the final two rounds to retain the title

STRAHOVSKI/ CUOCO. This was a good competitive bout while it lasted. The two Swapped rounds during the first four. The champ forged ahead by winning round five. In the sixth, Cuoco Strahovski stagger jumped to the offense and right into a huge right that landed on her chin and Cuoco was toast. Yvonne retains her title

FREEMAN/ LAW. This was one of the better fights of the night. After the champ took the first round, Law came on to take the next three and have the lead at the end of four. Freeman came. back and evened the fight up by taking round five and six In the seventh, Freeman caught Law with a vicious punch to the nose. Freeman followed up with a couple to the stomach and finally a terrific uppercut that sent Law to the canvas. Law as able to get up at the eight count but was unable to breath through her nose or answer the ref's questions and the bout was stopped. Freeman remains the champ
