BEFORE:

"Here we go again," says Kelly with a lovely smile. "Anna and I just seem to bring out the best in one another. Two great fights. One win each. But, tonight's the night I show that, as good as Anna IS, and she's good enough to take the champion thirteen rounds, Kelendra Trene Rowland is juuuust a little better."

"Kelly's given me two of the toughest fights of my career," says Anna with a nod, "Every bit as tough as Strahovski or anyone else I've fought, and I don't expect tonight to be any different. What I DO expect is to come out on top. And, that's exactly what's going to happen."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'The Pain and the Passion' by Midnight Oil you hear, and that can only mean 'The Aussie Enforcer', Anna Torv, is on her way to the ring!"

Cassie: "Again, Uncle Wiz showing his normal class. Kelly won the last time these two met, so she gets the honors..."

McCarthy: "'Uncle' Wiz is a MORON, and, if he weren't, he'd have pushed this girl to the MOON instead of worrying about losers like Decker, Swan, and Perry. Torv is one of only TWO real fighters he has, and if he knew how to handle her, she'd have had more than one title shot and already worn the belts at least once!"

O'Dell: "Anna with the normal slap of glove to hand with Mac on her way to the ring. Climbs inside and is helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve to reveal that black two-piece she likes, and that's 'Motivation' pounding through the arena and the crowd showing its appreciation for a girl who's made quite the impression over the years at Asylum, Kelly Rowland!"

Tess: "Rowland hasn't only had two great fights with Torv here, she had a vicious war with Serinda Swan..."

Cassie: "She's also fought Katy Perry, though that wasn't at Asylum."

McCarthy: "And, of course, she STARTED her FCBA career by knocking out that overrated blonde Aly Michalka..."

Cassie: "You know, Mac, Aly's up in the owner's box with Wiz and Pointy. Now, I'm SURE they have the 'Mac Filter' in place..."

O'Dell: "The WHAT?"

Cassie: "Uncle Wiz had it built. They have the audio of the broadcast on the speakers up in the box, but they have a special filter that blocks out anything Mac says and replaces it with audio of adults speaking in a Charlie Brown television special..."

McCarthy: "YOU'RE MAKING THAT UP!"

Cassie: "And, up in the booth, they just heard 'waw waw waw waw waaaaaawwwww'..."

McCarthy: "YOU LITTLE..."

O'Dell: "Now, calm DOWN, Mac..."

Cassie: "My POINT, however, is that, while Aly didn't HEAR that remark, I'm sure she'd be willing to come down here for a little IMPROMPTU fight, Mac...unless you're starting to remember what happened LAST month..."

McCarthy: "I...YOU...THAT'S IT!!!"

(It's The Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown

Based On The Comic Strip, "Peanuts" By Charles...)

O'Dell: "...an EASTER SPECIAL IN FREAKING SEPTEMBER! NOW CALM DOWN! What? We're back on the air? Sorry about that, fans. I guess HBO doesn't have the contract for the Valentine's Day special. ANYway, Kelly Rowland, who, of course, represents Beevers Babes, is into the ring, and being helped off with the robe to reveal that purple number that she fills out EXTREMELY well, and the ladies are about ready to go. Time for some picks. Tess favors Anna. Mac?"

McCarthy: "As I've said, Torv is one of only two REAL fighters Weirdo has. Rowland isn't bad at all, and, if she gets fights, she's going to be a contender, but Anna already IS a contender and she's going to win."

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "And, there's the bell. Rowland aggressively after Torv and Anna quickly slows her down with the left jab and some right hand follows. Torv moving the feet, angling for position, getting off when she's where she wants to be."

Cassie: "Kelly wants to square up here, but Anna not having any. Torv's always had great footwork. Very methodical. Tactical. Knows her angles and how to use them."

O'Dell: "And she's using them on Rowland now. Kelly a step late, a second off, six inches short. She's working but not getting any work done. Anna slicker, smoother, outboxing Rowland right now."

McCarthy: "This is the great thing about Torv. She can beat you with power or she can box you. She's got a lot of tools in the box."

O'Dell: "And she's pulled out a few in this first round. Rowland not frustrated, not slowing down. She keeps working to square, to match footwork, but Anna's got her wrong-footed most of the time. Torv scoring well with both hands, especially with that heavy left jab..."

Tess: "The Front Street Jab..."

McCarthy: "It's A JAB...neverMIND!"

O'Dell: "Final seconds tick off in the first and there's the bell. First round solidly to Torv."

Tess: "And I'll say again what I said last fight. With girls this evenly matched, every point counts."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second round underway and Anna back to the tactical game. She's jabbing, sliding, drop-stepping, all angles and subtle movement. Rowland wants to engage heavy, can't get on target enough to do it."

Tess: "I'm wondering about this strategy, Mac..."

McCarthy: "You shouldn't be, Walmart. You saw the first two fights. Kelly likes to get in there and trade, and if they do that, Rowland holds her own. She's maybe a little quicker than Torv, and, while she doesn't have as much power as Anna, she has plenty. But, technically? As a boxer? Anna's better. These are the terms Torv has a big advantage on."

O'Dell: "Seems to at the moment, anyway. Anna working that left hand, jabbing head and body, keeping Kelly off balance. Rowland fighting back in counter now. Easing off the pressure and letting Torv fight lead..."

Cassie: "Not a bad strategy for Kelly. She wants to look for something big on the return punch."

O'Dell: "That she does, and with that quickness of hers, she's scoring some with those counters. Good, two-way stuff now as we head down the stretch, Torv fighting lead, Rowland responding in kind. Nobody landing anything huge, and, after six minutes between these two, that's an upset. There's the bell. Closer, but still Torv."

Tess: "20-18 Anna. Good start, but a long way to go."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Third begins with Torv back on the lead, using more tactical boxing to score points. Rowland working in counter, starting to time things better now, getting in a rhythm and getting the leather home."

Cassie: "You're right, Jenny. Kelly no longer off a step. She's finding Torv now, giving as good as she gets."

O'Dell: "Anna still happy with the terms, however. Content to jab and follow. Going body a little but mostly staying upstairs. Rowland a little more active with the right than the left, definitely looking for big shots, as Cassie said."

McCarthy: "But Torv not giving her openings for those. Anna slick defensively, not taking chances and not forcing punches."

O'Dell: "Another good, two-way round. Both women getting work done, and neither landing any serious power stuff..."

McCarthy: "And, again, Anna will take this. If it's all about boxing, Torv's going to win the fight."

O'Dell: "Down the stretch with controlled, tactical work on both sides. There's the bell. Close again, but Rowland this time."

Tess: "29-28. One point after three. No surprise with these two."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Fourth round underway and Rowland now more aggressive. Working her own jab, not content to fight counter anymore, and we've got some of the sharpest exchanges of the fight as a result! Torv not giving up the lead and we're seeing some good flurries from both fighters."

Cassie: "And some of the heaviest punches of the fight, too. Both girls getting more on that leather in the fourth."

O'Dell: "Indeed they are. This looks a lot more like what we saw during the first two fights. Good, sound stuff, but also a lot of leather being sent back and forth. Fighters moving well, firing at range, slipping forward to close, then back to range. Both playing angles, both sliding to spots to get off. It's both good technical stuff and crowd pleasing stuff."

Tess: "No question about that. Rowland's quickness coming into play here some, Jenny. She's able to get stuff on target just in time."

O'Dell: "No doubt about it, Tess. And both girls finding the target as the final seconds tick off. Flurries getting sharper and sharper as we go and there's the bell! Great action round and another close one to Kelly."

McCarthy: "38-38 now, and, aside from the lack of knockdowns, this one is starting to look familiar."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Fifth begins with Rowland again aggressive and Torv responding in kind. The lightweights after one another from the bell, both busy, landing good shots, putting punches together well."

Cassie: "Both very accurate punchers and you're seeing that now. This is laser-guided stuff in there."

O'Dell: "No doubt plenty of scoring going on and THERE'S A RIGHT HAND FROM ANNA AND KELLY'S ROCKED!"

McCarthy: "Beautiful keyhole right from Torv!"

O'Dell: "Rowland in retreat now, but Anna not exploiting. She's back to her jab, boxing, angling in on Kelly, scoring well with both hands but not going all out to get a stoppage."

Tess: "Anna has to be remembering how dangerous Kelly is in situations like this. She's not going to give her an opportunity to turn this around with a big punch, like she's done so many times in bouts between these two."

O'Dell: "Torv working hard, got Rowland on her heels. Kelly countering in spots, but mostly keeping the guard high, trying to get the legs back under her. She's running clock right now and Anna content to let her run it. Last ticks off the clock and there's the bell. Torv easily, but Rowland lives to fight another round."

Tess: "And Anna's back on top, 48-47 at the half."

ROUND SIX:

O'Dell: "We're into the sixth with Torv quickly taking control. Rowland still tentative, still hasn't shaken off that big right hand from last round. Anna again careful, angling, boxing, scoring points, but not loading up."

McCarthy: "Anna picking Rowland apart right now. Kelly's on her back foot and Torv's work rate is keeping her there."

O'Dell: "Rowland not getting off and I think this issue is the legs. She's not moving well and that's allowing Torv to lay in the fire and keep her on the defensive. Kelly getting touched up. Anna with the jab, jab, right or jab, hook rhythm and she's piling points up with it."

Cassie: "Rowland's waiting too long. She's looking for an opening for something big and not finding it. She needs to fire back, get counters off."

O'Dell: "Right now, it's all Anna. Kelly reduced to single shot responses and not many of those. Torv slipping right, landing a flurry, sliding left and going jab, hook. She's at range and then at middle distances. Great tactical stuff from the Aussie right to the bell and a shutout round for Anna."

Tess: "And Torv's lead is 58-56 with four to go."

ROUND SEVEN:

O'Dell: "Seventh begins with Anna right back to her tactical fight plan, but Kelly now back moving herself and we've got ourselves a boxing match again. Both fighters angling, setting punches up, putting them together..."

Cassie: "Rowland has the legs back and that's the difference. Torv can't just pick apart a stationary target. Kelly making her work and getting work done herself."

O'Dell: "Rowland in and out, not looking to close, just looking to change distance. Likes to slide to mid-range and get off, then slip back out. Torv able to adjust the sights and score at that range as well."

McCarthy: "No surprise that Anna can box like this. She's done it against some of the top fighters in the FCBA, but Rowland holding her own on these terms."

O'Dell: "That she is. Both girls very accurate with solid stuff. Neither landing anything huge, but there's plenty of clean leather being exchanged, mostly in short bursts. Action staying at a steady pace as we approach the end of the round. There's the bell. A close one, but Anna's extended the lead, ladies."

Tess: "68-65 now, with three to go. Kelly's in a hole. But we've seen her there before."

ROUND EIGHT:

O'Dell: "Eighth underway and the tactical battle resumes. Torv and Rowland angling, boxing, slipping and sliding. It's great technical stuff and far different from the first two fights between these two."

Tess: "And that's Torv, isn't it, Mac?"

McCarthy: "It is, Walmart. Anna much more circumspect this time around. She's determined to out-box Rowland and isn't going to get sucked into anything else."

O'Dell: "Rowland showing she can play by these rules, too. Kelly has good footwork and fast hands. She can read punches and angles. She can get off accurately. And she's doing all that here in the eighth."

Cassie: "And Torv doing all of it, too. Both girls scoring well again."

O'Dell: "They most certainly are. Rowland a bit busier this round than she has been. She's working hard to get off first, and she's getting it done. Torv not forcing anything, taking what's there. Slowly allowing Kelly to fight lead more and more as we head down the stretch. Rowland pushing pace into the final seconds, and there's the bell. Another close one, but Kelly took it late."

Tess: "And it's now 77-75. Anybody's fight with two to go."

ROUND NINE:

O'Dell: "Into the ninth and the chess match continuing. Torv and Rowland putting on a completely different kind of show than we've seen from these two in the past. It's all about subtlety, getting square and sliding off square, creating openings and exploiting."

McCarthy: "And Torv one of the best in the FCBA at this. Again, the surprise is that Rowland can hold her own fighting this style, but she's doing it."

O'Dell: "No question about it. Kelly having plenty of success, getting leather home and not just in counter. Both women able to get their offense in, and, while neither has been able to land anything huge, save the one big shot from Torv, both have been effective."

Tess: "And, clearly, as Mac points out, this is Anna's fight plan at work. She wasn't coming in here and doing what she did in the first two fights, which she felt played to Kelly's strength, but Kelly's impressing with the boxing as well."

O'Dell: "These rounds are becoming very near things. Neither fighter able to take control as both have their moments and both get leather on target. Hard, active, tactical stuff going on right to the bell. There it is and it's another close one. Torv's, I think."

Cassie: "Agreed, which makes it 87-84 on our cards, but, with so many close rounds, the judges could have this a lot tighter."

ROUND TEN:

O'Dell: "Final round underway and both fighters out aggressively now. Both corners likely made their fighters aware of how close this fight could very well be, and both girls clearly want to put this last round in their pockets."

Cassie: "Rowland is after Torv and Anna matching that aggression now. She's not trying to tamp things down as she has throughout the fight. Both fighters going after it."

O'Dell: "And these are the hardest punches of the fight you're seeing land right now. Again, nothing sloppy about it, as both fighters are setting up their punches, but both women committing on the right hands now in a big way. There's a NASTY right from Rowland that got Torv's attention. Anna backed up and Kelly coming after her in a big way and DOWN GOES ROWLAND!"

McCarthy: "Great right hand counter from Torv!"

O'Dell: "Rowland blasted to her back. Torv to a neutral corner. Count at three. Four. Five..."

Tess: "Kelly trying to sit up..."

O'Dell: "Six. Seven. Eight...Rowland falls back to her back! Nine! TEN! It's over! Just like that! And your winner by KO10 is 'The Aussie Enforcer', Anna Torv!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Anna Torv, and, Anna, seemed to be a different strategy for you tonight..."

Anna: "Well, we'd fought twice before, so it never hurts to change things up a bit, and give her something to have to adjust to. We thought a more technical fight might work in my favor. Not sure if it did, but we got the result."

Tess: "Big win for you?"
