JENNA DEWAN (UNMANAGED) VS LUCY HALE (PRETTY LITTLE PUNCHERS)
Results: Lookout  Writing: Archer

Before: Jenna Dewan (appears on Lifetime’s “Witches of East End”) is eager for this fight: “I feel I haven’t gotten the attention deserve. I mean I am 5’3, you can throw a stone in the FCBA locker room and hit two dozen girls my size. Yet here I am at 33, with only two to my credit: a win over Briana Evigan and that loss last year to Kat Graham. I mean, look at my chest—I’m a natural (in my ways than one) for JMD action. I don’t mean to complain, I did get this fight and I am not ungrateful for it, but I just know I could do so much more if I had more bookings. So this fight is very important to me: I NEED to win this to prove I belong in PPV’s. So I’ll be fighting my heart out, I can promise you that!”

Lucy Hale in a cheerful, confident mood (being on 5 fight winning streak will do that for a young fighter): “Just like always I am so glad to be out there fighting, but now I’m winning. I honestly believe that I should be in line for a title shot soon. I will admit not knowing much about Jenna, but she’s got those ex-dancer legs and that impressive rack. She’ll probably win the swimsuit competition, but hey, I’ll win the boxing part and that’s what matters.”

Jenna in dark purple underwire bra with lighter purple bikini panties, little purple gloves and boots with dark purple laces. Lucy goes for black satin bra and panties with matching boots and gloves.  As the two get face to face, Jenna’s 5’3 not much of an advantage over Lucy’s 5’2. Lucy grinning at Jenna who looks tense and she doesn’t seem to appreciate the youthful exuberance giving the kid a scowl. Both have hair pulled back into single ponytail. Two touch gloves (really, they slam them together as though to knock the other off balance, but neither steps back before going to their corners.

R1: Bell rings and Lucy zips out of her corner to catch Jenna by surprise. Lucy flinging herself into punches aimed at Jenna’s head. The surprise factor allows her bat the older brunette’s head around, then drive a straight right between Jenna’s eyes. Jenna driven back towards her own corner, she has her gloves up to protect her head and face, but Lucy chugging leather into Jenna’s unguarded belly and then raises hooks into that big rack to bounce Jenna’s melons as  she’s pinned against turnbuckle. Jenna’s trainer yells at her to clinch, but Jenna finds her own solution with a couple of short range hooks into Lucy’s belly making the younger brunette grunt and double over. Jenna then belts Lucy with a right to the chops and slips free of her corner while Lucy shaking the cobwebs out. Lucy looking around for her opponent, sees Jenna in midring, bouncing on her feet raring to go. Lucy over there in a flash, but she makes a little feint as she comes in to distract Jenna and clips her with a surprise left on the jaw. Jenna stumbles back and Lucy advances, but now Jenna has started jabbing and Lucy is kept at bay. Lucy and Jenna circle and punch to the bell without further damage to each other, but round a solid Lucy Hale win.

R2: Jenna’s not going to get trapped again, She clears her own corner very quickly, though Lucy’s not pressing her luck trying the same tactic twice in a row. Instead the two brunettes meet at midring and go back to the circle and punching tactics seen late in R1. However this time both are finding angles and both getting their heads banged. Lucy finally works her way in, but she’s going to the body, especially those yummy breasts of Jenna’s and that available belly. Jenna not liking this treatment, bangs Lucy’s belly and breasts in return. Intensity mounts steadily as both fighters are struggling for domination. Then Lucy clips a short right to Jenna’s chin and Jenna is forced back on shaky legs. Lucy boring in and getting more leather onto Jenna’s jawline until Dewan’s defensive jab bounces off Lucy’s forehead and knocks her back with a stunned look on her face. Jenna tries to move in but runs into the swiftly recovering Lucy’s jab and one of those jabs bangs into Jenna’s right eye, she recoils in shock and pain. Lucy circles again and stabs away at Jenna’s head from the side, knocking it over against her shoulder, but Jenna moves clear and stays up. Round ends with Lucy taking the round. Dewan’s right eye given treatment to reduce swelling, but she could have a real shiner in the morning.

R3: Lucy and Jenna back to the circle and punch at midring to start the round, but this time it’s Jenna Dewan landing more effectively. Jenna scoring against Lucy’s forehead and even opens a small hairline cut. Lucy has to defend her face, but then finds Jenna digging hard into her gut and breasts with some heavy punching. Jenna using her dancer’s legs to body Lucy back towards the ropes. Lucy jabbing hard to stop this, but Jenna showing some good upper body movement to counter and still keep on the body pressure. Lucy finally against the strands and really taking it to the body until she doubles up face in gloves to give up her flanks to Jenna Dewan’s punching. Bell finds Jenna with a little smile of satisfaction, She knows she’s won her first round of the night. Lucy’s looking a little green at the gills from all those belly punches, but she makes an effort to walk steadily (if slowly) back to her own corner as though nothing were wrong.

R4: Back to midring once again, but this time Jenna goes straight at Lucy, trying to pressure her way in close to the younger fighter. Lucy resisting with grim determination. Furious punchrate coming from the petite warriors and neither is willing to back down. Jenna finding Lucy’s chin this round and making it dance for her, but Lucy pounding away at the Dewan mammaries and then down to her belly. Terrific action as they are practically touching foreheads and looking each other in the eyes as they fight this out. A quick move to the right and a spearing shit to the side of Lucy’s sends the younger fighter lurching to the ropes, grabbing them to stay up. Jenna after her, but Lucy turns in time and clinches to break up the offensive. Lucy then able to get away from the ropes and back to midring with Jenna peppering her with punches. Lucy then does some sidestepping of her own to bang the side of Jenna’s head and make her pull back to regroup. Things settle down the remainder of the round with the judges giving it to Jenna close and tying the fight in rounds.

R5: Jenna comes out slowly for this round, but Lucy seems to have shaken off the punishment better and takes the offensive. Jenna uses her jab with some good results early, but Lucy ducking and hitting more and more as the round goes on. She’s really doing a number on Jenna’s body and whenever Jenna has to drop her guard down to protect her midsection, she strikes at Jenna’s face and landing more than once on Jenna’s swollen right eye. Jenna forced to protect the eye and gives up her body to do so. Lucy just methodical in her body attack making Jenna’s legs begin to tremble. Jenna’s looking discouraged at the bell. Lucy is smiling grimly. She knows it’s not over, but she’s getting there as she wins her third round.

R6:  Jenna looking battered and worn out, but she gamely comes out, trying to stay in this fight, but that right eye is a problem as Lucy quickly realizes it’s creating a blind spot. Lucy taking advantage to launch her attacks using this reduced vision and Jenna is getting chopped up as the round goes on. Lucy banging Jenna’s gut over and over plus flurries to the breasts and quick clubbing hits on the chin. One more flurry of hooks to the belly and Jenna’s legs just fold up. Jenna dropping to her knees, arms wrapped around her ravaged body and crying tears of despair as she knows she’s not able to get back to her feet. Referee’s 10-count makes it official:
The winner: Lucy Hale (KO6)

After: “That was an exciting fight,” Lucy bubbles to the press, “she was a real problem for me at times, but the knew if I worked her bidy hard and often enough it would catch up to her. It did and now I’ve won 6 in a row. What a great night for me!”

Jenna Dewan sits slumped on her stool, white towel over her head and wearily tells inquiring reporter Skip Tracey: “We were in a body punching contest and she won. I feel frustrated because I know I could have beat her—but I couldn’t get her down or inflict enough hurt on her. No, I’m not giving up, I will adjust my game and move on, I still believe in myself and that’s why I know I’ll be the one celebrating a win soon.”

Fans of flyweight fury in the ring found much to enjoy in this bout. Lucy again proved her days of struggling in the ring are behind her. Jenna showed she can punch and use some nice footwork, but it wasn’t enough this time out. She may well learn from this, but when will she get the chance to show what she’s learned if she has to wait another year for a fight?
