Jabbage bounces off brow and forehead as girls pivot-step clockwise - both reloading and ramming mechanically to jug as midring fencing heats up. Heigl the first to mix in right hands - straight, jamming blows from her cheek to Jenny's face, then Heigl jerks the short, shoving left uppercut off her front (left) foot to Jenny's chest. O'Dell grimacing, giving ground: Kathy very effective here with the long, pounding right hand followed by short, gouging left uppies or tight-swatting hooks into the O'Dell chest or tummy. Jenny backed to ropes under pressure - arms up to block, rolling the incoming: Kathy eyes bright as she shells away strong, straight lefts and rights, mitts bouncing off tanned shoulders, blonde skull at the bell. Heigl brightening, skipping away, kissing her right glove and waving to the crowd en route to her corner.

R2: Midring, hard jabbing from strong stances: Jenny pounding her way past Kathy's guard to take the initiative. O'Dell leaning in the right hand now, scoring to face, then mopping up that short, tucking left hook to sternum off front (left) foot. Very compact bite on the hook bunches Kathy up: Jenny just chopping it in - no backswing - fist palm-up as it digs into golden-brown midriff. Kathy grimacing, on her heels - she hits ropes, covers up earmuff, tilts right onto Jenny's jerking left uppercut, bunting Heigl's face back. Hard-chopping right hand swings in clean; muscular, clubbing hook: Jenny taking it to big girl at the ropes, clobbering away on Kathy's skull. Heigl digging in wobbly butt, baring her teeth, lifting arms to block: Jenny lowers head, rotates shoulders, bounces both hands off stubborn midsection to cramp Kathy forward. Jenny methodically to jug - crowd starting to roar as O'Dell piles up hard, pancaking blows: Heigl groaning as Jenny pummells rack with chugging delivery. Kathy's hurt, but too big and strong to go down: she grimly covers up - tilting backward and forwards at ropes, suffering as Jenny works her over upstairs and down, but making it to bell. Jenny smouldering, chest heaving - she looks her challenger over before turning away, tallying up the damage.

R3: It's like they trained together - similar strong stances, straight legs, both committed to straight, professional punching in combination. Heigl's jab suppresses Jenny's this round: O'Dell's getting parried and blocked - Heigl's slamming through clean, punching back champ's face with SPANK. Middle minute - Kathy lands a tidy right roundhouse across gut, straightens to hook Jenny inside her left shoulder - champ stumbles back on her heels, looking a little ragdoll. Kathy jabbing her way in, stepping smartly-to: sharp right cross paves the way for that short, jerking, nasty left uppercut into Jenny's sternum. O'Dell ropeside, dukes at temples: Kathy pushes up left shoulder/open right palm, then twists, chops that brutal left hook palm-up to Jenny's stomach TUPP!. O'Dell visibly hurt to her body: Kathy picks her up a muscular, short left uppercut to chest, draping champ upright on cables - leans into a plowing right to swivel Jenny's head. O'Dell swaying here, keeping hands up, rolling sadly as Katherine piles on down the stretch: Heigl shovelling it onto Jenny now - strong, buxom lefts and rights bashing away chest, shoulders and scalp to bell. Heigl nostrils flaring, eyes glaring - chests up on Jenny, making the champ take weight until ref moves in. "Too strong, Jen!" Kathy chirps over official's shoulder.

R4: Kathy's pounding at Jenny up the middle: jabs, right hands, then in with the short, jagged left hook or uppercut off the front foot. O'Dell cranky - head routinely jarred, body repeatedly cringing up - she's stepping out, circling with a concerned frown as Heigl walks her down. Kathy as patient, thorough as we've ever seen her - walking Jen down, but jabbing her to prep, leaning into brutal right hands, but never overcommitting - just sumptuous, sharp punching, head and body. Late the round, Jenny makes a nice little adjustment with her feet: half-step back when Kathy's jabbing, just changing up distance a smidge - O'Dell able to make Heigl miss short, then catch her in return.

R5: Jenny slooowly wresting control away from Katherine as girls continue to trade savage, shelling salvoes midring. O'Dell's footwork subtle, but a difference-maker: anticipatory step outs, then frisky jabbing allows Jen to get the extra touches as Heigl's connects drop. Both women absolutely heartless to the midsection: tight, tucking shots - palm-up on the left hook off the front foot in close - gorgeous, compact work in tight.
