BEFORE:

"I love coming to Philadelphia," says the girl dressed as Cinderella, complete with mask and English accent. "And I love going against the Front Street girls. I've had quite a lot of success doing that, and tonight won't be any different."

"She's dangerous, as she's proven," says the girl dressed as Batgirl. "But, if you check the record, I'M pretty dangerous, too. As she's about to find out."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside for the fifth bout of the night and that's 'Don't Fear The Reaper' by Blue Oyster Cult, and we've heard that one before here at Asylum..."

Tess: "We have, indeed, and I think we've got a pretty good idea who the fighter dressed as Cinderella is..."

McCarthy: "Are you two going to let me in on the secret, or are you just going to sit there babbling on?"

Tess: "You were announcing with us that night, Mac. Is your memory failing you?"

McCarthy: "My memory is just FINE..."

Cassie: "Sure is. She remembers being in town for George Washington's inaguration..."

McCarthy: "You LITTLE..."

O'Dell: "'Cinderella into the ring and helped off with the costume and rocking that dark pink bikini is none other than the lovely Jennifer Ellison of Beevers Babes!"

McCarthy: "And she's not kidding about having had success against Weirdo. She's beaten Perry and Britney."

O'Dell: "And we're about to find out who she's going to be fighting tonight and there's a major clue pounding through the arena. That's 'Nothing Else Matters' by Metallica, and the lady dressed as Batgirl is none other than 'The Portuguese Princess', Daniela Ruah!"

Cassie: "Ruah coming off what was probably the biggest win of her career right in this arena last month. If she can follow up with a win over Ellison tonight, she's going to be breathing down the necks of Swan and Arterton at the top of the Front Street lights..."

McCarthy: "Again, if Weirdo were smart, he'd dump all THREE of those no-talents and concentrate on pushing TORV..."

O'Dell: "Daniela into the ring, helped off with the costume by Jewel and Neve to reveal that baby blue number she likes, and it's about time for some picks. Tess?"

Tess: "This is no walkover, but Dani's bigger and hits harder. Got to go with Ruah."

O'Dell: "Mac?"

McCarthy: "Any girl who can beat Britney can beat an average Dancing Hooker like Ruah. I'm going with Ellison."

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess."

O'Dell: "And, there's the bell. No surprise early as Ruah goes to the heavy 'Front Street Jab'. Dani's got the edge in height and reach and she wants to work at range. Jennifer likes to get inside, likes to bang and go body, but, and the moment, that long left frustrating her efforts."

Cassie: "This combination of length and power is what makes Ruah so dangerous. She reminds me of Palicki with all that range and power..."

McCarthy: "You're NUTS, Scabbo! She's nowhere NEAR Palicki's league!"

O'Dell: "Daniela jabbing accurately. Following on with right hands. Ellison trying to counter, but a little short on most of it. Ruah has the pickets set, not allowing much past them, and shelling everything outside the picket lines."

Tess: "Daniela doubling and tripling on those jabs, Jenny. Really has the range down early."

O'Dell: "She's getting what she wants and getting the work done. Ellison a little frustrated here. Trying hard to find a way forward, but not finding any cracks. Final seconds ticking off and that's it for the first. Round and the early lead to Ruah."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second round begins with Ruah back to the jab. Ellison working forward, able to find some openings in the defense now, get into range and get off. And we're seeing some big exchanges here Mac! Heavy leather landing from both sides!"

McCarthy: "This is what Ellison wants! This is how she beat Perry and Britney!"

O'Dell: "Neither girl backing up a step. Both holding ground and firing away. Ruah NAILS Ellison with a right hand and Jennifer fires back with a big flurry! They are toe to toe and no one is blinking!"

Cassie: "This is brutal stuff in there. They're both committing on these punches."

O'Dell: "And they're both landing a high percentage of them. Nothing fancy going on here. This is take one to give one stuff, and both fighters more than willing to do that. Ellison working some body now and Ruah responding in kind. Bang. Thump. Bang. Thump. Right to the bell. Both girls did some scoring, but Ellison gets the round."

Tess: "And evens things at 19."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "We're back to action and we're right back to the toe to toe slugging. Ellison finding ways past Ruah's glove and working hard when she gets there. Daniela not being overrun here. She can stand her ground inside and give as good as she gets."

McCarthy: "Ellison paying more attention to the body now, Jenny. She's clearly looking to reduce Ruah."

O'Dell: "Might be easier said than done, because Dani's pretty sturdy, but Ellison's the kind of kind of girl who can do that. She's got the punching power and she's willing to invest, and that's exactly what she's doing now."

Cassie: "Ruah doing some body work, too, but not as much. She's working mostly upstairs and scoring when she does that."

O'Dell: "Into the last 30 seconds and this thing isn't slowing down. Both girls still banging away, landing big leather, and neither willing to give any canvas. Final seconds and we get one final big exchange at the bell. Good round, but Ellison getting more done again."

Tess: "29-28, Jennifer."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Fourth begins with Jennifer working forward but being stopped by Ruah's jab. Daniela landing square on Ellison now, got the pickets back in place and not allowing any penetration through them..."

Cassie: "This is just a slight adjustment by Ruah, Jenny. She's moving the feet more to stay square. Ellison was angling her these last two rounds and Dani's cutting those angles down now."

O'Dell: "And that's resulting in Jennifer being out on the end of Dani's punches much of the time, which is also resulting in Ruah slowly takibng back control of the fight."

McCarthy: "Ellison is finding some cracks, though, unlike in the first. She's getting inside some and scoring when she does."

O'Dell: "Ruah busy with that jab, using the right to follow at times, but happy just scoring with the left at others. Coming to the bell now, and there it is. Dani Ru's evened this thing up."

Tess: "38-38 after four."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Fifth begins with the familiar efforts to impose terms. Ruah with the long jab, working to maintain space and Ellison angling, looking for weak spots in her defenses. Dani working the left, Ellison closing, hooking body and RUAH LANDS A RIGHT HAND! Ellison staggered and DOWN SHE GOES!"

Cassie: "Left hook follow!"

O'Dell: "Ruah to a neutral corner. Count at three. Four. Five. Six. Ellison to her knees. Eight. And Jennifer to her feet. Referee giving her the mandatory and he's going to allow it to continue. And on comes Ruah! Ellison backed to the ropes and Daniela swinging for the fences!"

McCarthy: "Nothing sound about this. Ruah going all in to finish!"

O'Dell: "She's firing with both hands, pounding away as Ellison covers up, got the guard high, trying to roll with the punches. Ruah just emptying the magazines, landing about ten percent of what she throws, but keeping the shell coming and she SPLITS THE GLOVES with a right hand! Ellison wobbled, stays on her feet. Ruah rocks her with with a left hook,STRAIGHT RIGHT AND ELLISON STAGGERS AND IT'S OVER! Referee has seen enough and he leaps in and bundles Jennifer to safety!"

Cassie: "Check that last right on replay and you'll see why. Right on the button! Jennifer's knees start to go, but, somehow she stays up, and that's it. The ref can't let this continue."

O'Dell: "Making your winner by TKO5 'The Portuguese Princess' Daniela Ruah!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I've got our winner, Daniela Ruah, and Dani, you made no mistake in that last round..."

Daniela(shaking her head): "No way. She's dangerous. Has the kind of power that can take you out of there in a flash. You can't mess around with her. When you have a chance to get her, you've got to finish her."

Tess: "This has been a pretty good run for you, the big win against Alana and now a win over a tough opponent tonight. What's next?"

Daniela(smiling): "I'm game for whatever's next at whatever weight. I'll make 130 or not, whatever the best opportunity is, I'll take it."
