TESS VALMORE

PINK/ COTTILARD. The two alternated the early rounds with Torv winning rounds one and three and Coittilard managing to take rounds two and four. The bout would not last the fifth round. Pink caught Coittilard, who was moving in, with her right hook to the chin and the fight was over with Coittilard being counted out

TAYLOR/ BENNET. After Bennet took first two rounds, Taylor seized the lead by taking round three and decking Bennet in round four. Taylor took a round five, but Bennett hurt Taylor in the sixth. Bennett evened the bout by taking round seven. Taylor forged back into, the lead by winning round eight. Bennett went back into the lead by flooring Taylor in the ninth. They both went all out in the tenth. It was Bennet who got the better of it, when she landed a right hook that left Taylor down for the count

ARTERTON/ KLUM. I didn't expect this to be much of a fight. I thought that Arterton could end it any time she wanted. That happened to be in the fifth round. A left hook to the midsection and a right to the chin did Klum in. I'll give Klum some credit. She did win one round.

CHURCH/ DENNINGS. This was one of those back and forth fights. It was tied at the end of four and tied at the end of six. Dennings took the lead again in the seventh. Church, however, failed to even up the fight in the eighth. Instead, she ended up on her back half way through the round, the victim of a powerful Bennet right hook

TORV/ CANALIS. Surprisingly Canalis got off to a good start winning two of the first three rounds. Unsurprisingly, that was the high point of her night. Torv took rounds four and five. In the sixth, Torv put Canalis on the canvas. Canalis beat the count, but. Torv mauled her along the ropes until the referee stopped the fight.

SPIRIDAKOS/ RAMBIN. I'll have to check my records but it seems to me that if Front Street is going to lose a bout on an Asylum card, it is more often than not, the last fight on the card That's what happened here. The early rounds were close and the two were even at the end of four. Spiridakos, then came on to take rounds five and six. Spiridakos ended the bout in the seventh when she landed a flurry of punches that left Rambin on her back as the count passed her by

For the benefit of my editor and my mother my prediction record in this weeks PPVs is as follows

FCBA PPV. 9-5
LCA PPV. 3-0
ASYLUM PPV. 6-0
That brings my record to 87-24 or 78%
