LIONESS CLUB ANNIVERSARY EVENT PART II

(Lioness Club vs Marti's Maulers)

Many people inside the KO Club predict a whirlwind knockout in this fight as Mel B. comes in as hot favorite against the often lacklustre Natasha Hamilton who remains one of the main targets for other girls on the Lioness roster. According to Georgie Thompson that's rather bad news for the pretty redhead and Melanie has set her sights on fellow singers Una Healy and Liz McClarnon next. The former Spice Girl thrives on the X Factor exposure even at the expense of stablemate Cheryl Cole and quite frankly if she can deal with all her planned opponents she's gonna overtake Charlotte Church on the bantamweight pecking order which is not too shabby for someone pushing 40 years of age.

Not a soul in Barnet predicts Hamilton even lasting the distance and it's a blow out on the odds too which only makes the former Atomic Kitten leader nervous. Mel B. wears a golden basque top, black knickers and golden gloves. Natasha Hamilton wears a black basque top, white knickers and white gloves. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.

Round 1:
Mel blasts out of her stool and rips into Natasha's guts from the onset and the redhead quickly realizes it's gonna be a war in the ring like the Spice Girl predicted and counters with a similar jabbing display at the body but Mel shows superior strenght and whacks Hamilton around the elbows to enforce a low cover. More from Brown follows as she pummels Natasha's ribs and makes her moan, single hand response fails to bother the older singer but only in the final minute Mel lands some leather on the face to snap Hamilton's head back and back her onto the ropes where she keeps the high assault forcing the redhead into deep earmuff cover again.

Round 2:
Both women tangle in the middle of the ring and allthough Natasha bounces off Mel's boobs she eats a furious left hander on the jaw and wobbles to the side as Brown moves into peppering her face instead. Another left hook opens Natasha's eyes wide in a sign of sheer disbelief at Mel dominating the close range and the ex-Spice Girl truly tears into her guts thereafter; the switch on the navel bends Hamilton forward and opens a hole up high where a jabbing series sends the hair around redhead's neck and reels her sagging onto the ropes. Mel with a heavy ribcage onslaught which overwhelms her rival and leaves Hamilton moaning in pain as she gets spiked on the liver area and just soaks up the girl power and then some.

Round 3:
All Melanie again; she nails Natasha on the eye and follows up with a jabbing series on the chest as the slices the redhead's arms to dominate the close range. Hamilton tries to duck & weave away from her menace but Mel shows superior agility and hassles her around the ring and pumps more low spikes on the ribcage to slow the redhead down the stretch. Natasha's tame respone only grazes the forearms and Brown slams a left hook on the eye to stagger the lacklustre singer and pins her to the turnbuckle afterwards before another midsection switch leaves bruises on the ribs and relieves the redhead from her breath, a solid uppercut on the jaw only underlines Mel's dominance and has Natasha looking subdued and mentally checked out at the bell.

Round 4:
Mel's just too quick for the redhead and tears the skin on her left brow ridge seconds into the fourth forcing her into desperate cover; the crowd urges the Spice Girl to finally send her foe packing and Brown ups the tempo with Natasha sagging on her knees and just unable to mount any response. Another hook opens the wound on the minute mark and Natasha tries to clinch and wrestle rather than box only to suffer more damage as Mel spikes her around the ribs and staggers her to the side before a belting hook pierces the navel and SENDS HAMILTON DOWN ON HER KNEES... the punches just stack up against the Liverpool girl and Melanie seems like she's toying around rather than looking for a swift finish... A misty eyed redhead is up at six but allows Mel to pound her back to the ropes within seconds and the repeated midriff assault leaves her moaning and just soaking up the heavy leather as Brown holds something back yet, she digs her elbows against Hamilton's chest and sends a couple of uppercuts to shut her opponent's eyes but a piledriver from the right only opens the wound further and doesn't quite send Natasha to the orbit. There was every chance for Melanie to fracture the redhead's nose but she clearly refused to pound her face into a pulp despite almost non-present defence.

Round 5:
Hamilton refuses to give up the fight despite the brow ridge injury and that's a bold decision but Brown shows her no mercy this time and traps her on the ropes with more jabbing which now crashes off both the face and body. Natasha's all covered up and throwing no punches, just allowing the Scary Spice to beat her up and the crowd's screams urge Mel to stop fooling around as she nails the redhead on the chin to drop the guard and scythe the nose with a pulverizing cross. Hamilton goes all woozy and her head slumps on the shoulder as Mel finds the brow ridge cut and pierces it for the final time rendering the Atomic Kitten singer numb and tumbling flat on her face with eyes closed... KO5 Mel B. in ass-whooping fashion!!!

AFTER: Natasha had nothing to give against Mel who's recent tenure with the X Factor has really boosted her confidence and she talks about pumping some leather into either Lisa Maffia or Una Healy next. She looks set to take over the Spice Girl leading role away from Geri Halliwell now but the word inside the KO Club is that the ginger vixen still has something lined up for Boxing Day PPV. Any which way the future looks quite good for the former Scary Spice unlike Hamilton who's getting used to being pummelled around the BBU rings and there's every chance Kimberley Walsh or Diana Vickers will move up against her next. One should perhaps add one blonde newcomer who's been linked to a BBU debut on the Boxing Day PPV as well.

Final result: Melanie Brown def. Natasha Hamilton KO5.
