PAULA PATTON VS BIANCA KAJLICH

BEFORE: The SSB tenure is truly more demanding for any free agent on the market - unless you want to become a cannon fodder at the Asylum cards; just ask Cat Deeley for tips - but Bianca Kajlich has been touted as a force to be reckoned with in the welterweight division after her upset win over Bridget Regan last year. And it only gets better with Paula Patton who scored the mother & father of all upsets when she beat Amanda Righetti a year before that. The welter division lacks fresh faces and frequent activity aside from a bunch of usual suspects so this fight can actually vault the winner into a serious contention within seconds of the eventual outcome! Yeah, the stakes are that high just like the punches are that bigger among the heavy class! Literally one punch can change everything and the crowd doesn't think we'll go to the scorecards here. Both women are pushing 40 but they haven't fought too much lately and look as vivid as a spring breaker going to Miami.

Paula Patton wears an orange top and matching hip-huggers she displayed in the Complex magazine photoshoot a while back with black gloves & boots. Dark brown hair tied in a regular ponytail. Bianca Kajlich wears a dark blue bikini set, white gloves & boots. Brown hair tied in a similar ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the welterweight division.

Round 1:
Both women are perhaps understandably cautious in approach and swing single punches without much meaning for most of the round before Bianca tries to ignite some speed into her performance but meets solid defence and eats ribcage jabbing instead as Paula goes low and finds success. She keeps menacing around Bianca's midriff until getting locked in a clinch where Kajlich shows superior strength and wrestles her rival onto the ropes.... hooking high and missed.. Paula fights from behind the guard and nails Bianca on the cheeks reeling her back to centre of the ring down the stretch.. more shots to the body keep Kajlich at bay and cursing at the Mission Impossible actress at the bell already.

Round 2:
Kajich didn't enjoy those body shots and tries to prevent Patton from landing more as she goes out all swinging and clips Paula's jaw before jabbing at her face more efficiently and forcing her back for good. Paula seeks more midsection punishment but it's agile enough on her feet and is fortunate enough to avoid Bianca's combo attempts... another sluggish clinch slows the pace down half-way through the round but Bianca drills the ribcage herself after outmuscling Paula in frantic attempt to pin her down in the corner... Patton gets pushed back as Bianca clips her breasts and literally turns the older girl to the side after another clinching effort goes wrong... It's Patton's time to swing and miss as she fails to match Kajlich's arm reach and gets nailed by an odd combo in the dying seconds that spins the ponytail around her neck.

Round 3:
Paula outsmarts Bianca with a sudden facial approach, the arms just didn't go high enough fast enough and it's Kajlich's ponytail taking a ride as Patton bats her back to the ropes in a hurry following a small stumble from the younger woman. Bianca tries to push herself off the ropes but sags on her knees when Paula riffles a right hook to the rack and clips the temple with a solid follow up. Kajlich ducks low and tries to clinch but gets wrestled against the turnbuckle after she put her weight on the wrong foot and had Patton dragging her with her breasts pressing against the forearms... one step back and she lets Kajlich go only to smack a cross hook on the nose... Bianca has her left leg up as she tried to jump forward and that's lethal as she loses her balance and wraps her left arm around the ropes in order to stay upright... to no avail as Patton thumps her on the jaw with a right hand that wasn't quite clean enough to turn Kajlich's lights out but still enough TO SEND HER TUMBLING to her side!!! Bianca takes her time and rises her all fours at eight, nods back to the ref and there's little doubt the punch wasn't spot on otherwise she'd be all over the place... Nonetheless Paula tries to finish her off but bounces hard off the guard as a sagging Bianca still shows supreme defence whenever she keeps her balance in tact. Huge let off for the highly touted model!

Round 4:
Bianca refuses to square up to her rival and it's Paula's job to follow up on that knockdown as she hassles her around the ring but lacks speed to enforce a close range dust up. She gets really annoyed down the stretch as Bianca's boobs are running side to side in pure avoidance to the point the crowd starts to cheer for the clearly more aggressive Patton. Suddenly both women jump at each other as Paula's repeated effort meets a similar response and despite a brief moment of surprise, Kajlich's boobs eat a couple of good jabs to stagger her and neglect the offensive moves. A quick hook to the brow ridge snaps her head back and reels towards the ropes again but the speed just isn't there to allow Paula add more punishment to her lively opponent.

Round 5:
The knockdown hasn't taken it's toll on Bianca who still looks equally fresh as her opponent but this time a feisty dust up brings the battle scars to the ring; Patton's ponytail goes for a ride as Kajlich just clatters into her face with another jabbing effort that wasn't exactly expected... the breasts are pressed right to each other afterwards as Paula moans in pain but tries to clinch Kajlich again and block her forearms from a proper stretch.... she skids wide as Bianca shrugs her off with more superior strength and bombs a right handed cross that bounces off Paula's temple and throws her off balance... a left handed uppercut pierces the cleavage moments later AND DROPS PATTON TO HER KNEES... a good welter punch is hard to find! Bianca screams out in delight trying to dwarf the older woman mentally and Paula looks upset... she gets up at five, probably too quickly as she breaths heavily and gets pummeled back to the ropes after the command as Bianca turns some wicked leather to snap Patton's head back and make her moan all throughout the onslaught... she reverts into drilling the breadbasket but it's a bad choice as Paula's able to clinch her and survive a difficult round with her high guard struggling to soak up all the punishment.

Round 6:
Bianca would be best advised to really punish Paula now who looks more affected by the knockdown and the hook to the boobs would have pulled the plug on most of the lightweights already. Patton's breathing issues fuel Bianca's efforts but she rushes her approach as Paula gets all covered and defensive and allows Kajlich to build on her lead... nice batting to the ribs strands the older woman half-way through the round and allows Bianca to move up high and slice the mitts repeatedly as Paula gets pounded back to the ropes and just soaks up punishment with Kajlich liking her chances to the rack again. She wants to chop her foe in half rather than flat out knock her head off but the persistent midriff assault softens Patton well, the older actress sags badly and can't stop moaning with her eyes closed in dying seconds of the round as Bianca drops her intensity and shoves her butt-in-ropes and whispers in her ear: "That's all you have, wimp? Gonna wreck you now!", Paula aches massively at the bell and hugs her ribs with Kajlich's punches doing their job extremely well.

Round 7:
Patton's really slow on her feet and wants to just avoid fractured ribs here but this just allows Bianca to thump her head back and spin the ponytail around. Paula gets mauled back to the ropes and fails to lock a life-saving clinch, Bianca digs some extra into her chest and watches with delight as Paula aches right into her face with eyes closed... Uppercut switch finds the jaw and drops Paula's arms as Bianca punches the orange top and hoofs Patton's rack against her slumped chin... the battered actress can only gurgle in pain as Kajlich threatens to dissect her jugs and wobbles forward for the last time... the crowd shouts: "No mercy! No mercy!" and there isn't any shown as Bianca fires a killer uppercut that almost pierces Paula's jaw and SENDS HER DOWN in a smoking heap... "Told ya I'm gonna wreck your guts out!, Bianca spits out her mouthguard right onto Patton's head and it's obvious we need a stretcher here ASAP!!! KO7 Bianca Kajlich!!!

AFTER: People will drool over Bianca K. after this one! She's maybe pushing cougar zone but if Gena Lee Nolin can fight for welter straps being five years her senior anything's possible. And there's hardly any wear & tear to interfere with her chances! The term late bloomer hasn't been so close to reloading since Brandon Weeden signed for the Browns. Will it last longer than Weeden's starting job there? Watch this space!

Meanwhile Paula just got wrecked by a significantly vicious opponent who showed her no mercy like there was a personal feud between them. However if she landed that hook to the jaw clean in the third round she'd be the one talking late bloomers now. So close but no cigar for the raunchy actress. Losing to Kajlich is not the end of the world though and since her own Hollywood career kinda late-started she's destined to return for more boxing punishment.. err... boxing action soon!
