2002 Seniors Champions

NOTE: In early 2002 former champion Jessica Lange took Senior Champion Mel Harris to court to demand she be stripped of the title for not defending the title after winning the belt in on 08/01/01. Ms. Lange won her case and a shot versus Ms. Harris for the Seniors Title. However that fight ended in a draw. The FCBA Front Office then set up a tournament at the end of which the winner would fight Jessica Lange for the title.. Pam Grier won the tournament and subsequently the title. Unfortunately, interest in the Seniors seems to have waned and after  year with no title challenges, it was decided to discontinue the title with Ms., Grier retiring the belt. (We presume she still has it.)
