Denise van Outen suggests Charley Webb should watch this fight very carefully if she wants to revive her BBU career and there's every chance Lily Collins challenges her in case of going down to Kayleigh Pearson tonight. Meanwhile the blonde model hopes to join the divisional elite and perhaps even the title picture sometime this year but she needs to beat Collins quick if she wants to intimidate any of her peers. Lily's been punching above her weight among the flys and couldn't even handle the veteran Emma Bunton which doesn't bode well for her imminient future. However van Outen thinks she's much more durable and outright more talented than Charley Webb so it's goona be interesting to see if she can upset Pearson before entering the last chance saloon with Webb.
Lily Collins wears a black basque top, red knickers, gloves and boots. Kayleigh Pearson wears a navy blue bikini set, black gloves and white boots. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.
Round 1:
Collins rattles Pearson early after ducking low and piercing the ribcage with heavy jabbing combo against the odds. Kayleigh tries to punch the brunette back but can't quite stretch her elbows and soaks up more midsection punishment instead as Collins just drills the leather into the soft tissue and makes the blonde gasp for air. Pearson finally leaps away into safety but as she tries to get back into the thick of things, Lily lands the quicker overhand and bounces off the brow ridge, follows up with a hook to the nose and staggers the blonde back to the ropes to run away with the round with ease.
Round 2:
Kayleigh believes she can easily outwork Lily in close range but the brunette keeps spiking her on the liver area and bends to the side before moving up and pumping some extra on the cleavage. Pearson strikes back over the top but loses her balance as Lily ducks low and kinda headbutts her in the chest; another flurry of leather keeps the blonde at bay and Collins shows some new found skills as she hassles her foe around the ring and Kayleigh's clearly puzzled by this; she grazes Lily's forearms in a sluggish response and almost gets nailed by more overhands but Lily loses her precision late in the round and allows the model to escape further misery.
Round 3:
More close range brawling as both girls now try to pierce each other's ribs but Kayleigh slips forward and bangs her chin against Lily's shoulder, eats a quick series on the navel and wobbles into the ropes with Lily ducking at first but then grabbing her arm and turning to the side. A low punch catches the model on the waistline and close to the kidneys; she stands up and indicates she was fouled yet the referee orders her to fight on; Lily makes the most of the blonde's brief lapse and nails her with a cross hook on the left brow ridge before adding another on the mouth... Pearson sags on her knees with a loud scream and soaks up midsection barrage with Collins all over her breadbasket and just piercing her way to glory... The brunette tries to add more leather on the head but the high guard withstands her efforts; nonetherless the ribcage jabbing does it's job and Kayleigh spits out her mouthpiece in frustration at the bell.
Round 4:
Pearson hangs back and tries to force Collins into a fruitless chase but Lily's really in her rhythm now and she beats the blonde for pace and starts mauling her jugs, she slips into close range assault again and splits the model's arms before spiking the ribcage and just sending Kayleigh into the turnbuckle where she peppers the ribcage and drops her foe's arms. A crunching hook on the jaw shuts Pearson's eyes and Lily shrugs off the clinching efforts, adds more shots to the navel and leaves the blonde out of breath at the bell.
Round 5:
It's obvious Lily's an improved fighter compared to her last outing versus Emma Bunton and unfrotunately for Pearson, she's the first one to find that out! She gets beaten for another quick overhand and wobbles back on the spot when Collins tags her nose and adds another hook to the chin. Kayleigh whimpers in pain and is rooted to the spot as the brunette pummels through the arms and hoofs her boobs to the side and wrenches the solar plexus for the killer blow... BLONDE GIRL DOWN... Kayleigh just crashes down to her side and aches her heart out pounding the canvas with her right glove... She's having a hard time out there and barely manages to roll onto all fours at seven and just about beat the count but looks to be running on empty unable to catch her breath. Lily wants to finish her off though and tries to shove the ref away but he orders her to beat it for now, some foul language on display before a sagging Pearson bellows out on the ropes but still nods back to the man in charge she wants to resume the fight... it's a bad idea since Lily finds a clubbing hook on the jaw first thing in and snaps the blonde's head back before pumping outrageous leather into the ribcage and just sending Kayleigh back to the turf moments later... Lily gets hauled off and the ref calls it off on the spot as Kayleigh is left sobbing and crying out in pain having been punched out of her breath here... TKO5 Lily Collins!!!
AFTER: It's the first BBU upset this year and Denise van Outen's advice about the Charley Webb last chance saloon looks rather foolish now! Nobody expected Lily Collins to last the distance against the blonde glamour model but she simply tore Kayleigh Pearson apart with a heavily improved display of aggression! She wasn't even tested that much on the defensive side and that's one area where future opponents could send her right back down the pecking order; Kayleigh was just flat caught out by the Collins Vol. 2 and never handled it until she was punched out of her breath and collapsed into utmost misery. Lily's no longer the creampuff of the division? It's too early to call however the best part is she's heard all about the Webb wild card comments and wants to tackle the fellow brunette next anyway!
Final result: Lily Collins def. Kayleigh Pearson TKO5.
