Before: (By Ginny) You'd say this is a 'coin flip' – unless you don't want to get someone mad at you. Hard to separate the two. Greene 2 years older, Olsen 2” taller; Greene 9-9 in 18 fights, Olsen 8-9 in 17 fights; Greene a slightly sturdier build, Olsen coming in the same weight. So what's the deciding factor? Maybe it's power? Greene's won 89% of her fights by KO/TKO, Olsen's only 50-50!
Or maybe it's defense? Greene's gone the distance in 4 of her last 5 losses, Olsen's been stopped in 4 of her last 5 losses.

“I don't see this as a toss-up,” Greene protests when asked about the odds. “She's not in my class as a fighter - or as an actress.”

Olsen shrugs off the insult, telling the reporter, “Fights are won in the ring with fists, not with glib talking points...probably written by a PR professional. We'll see what happens when she's out there on her own.”

During R1: Ashley bobbing and weaving on her way in, ducking Lizzie’s jab, then throwing power from the crouch: sweeping lefts and rights chase her blonde ropeside. Olsen spooked, reaching for Greene's shoulders, just trying to push her off, or pull her head down. Ashley pressing her hands against Lizzie's body to deny clinches, swinging over Olsen's outstretched arms to clobber her to the skull. Greene switches to the ribcage: ramming, digging, her face pressed against Elizabeth's chest as shoulders rotate, fists churn. Nasty two minutes suffered by Olsen, but ref's breaks finally lets her spin out: final minute spent running, with Greene stalking to bell.

R2: Lizzie makes an adjustment, using her legs and jab to maintain distance, declining to engage when Ashley backs off and gestures her in. Greene frustrated by Olsen's disciplined approach; blonde moving nimbly to land a punch or two, then dancing back out of range, leaving Ashley punching at empty air. Greene determined, but just can't get into position often enough to land a telling blow.

R3: Ashley makes an adjustment, chopping in the jab/cross one-two from a high-guard aspect, keeping weight on front leg while hooking to cleanup. Midway through, Olsen gets caught flush, the one-two chopping through to head, batting hooks catching her to face as she's trying to twist to her right and sends her spinning into the ropes. Lizzie disengages, uses her legs, roaming the whole ring, bouncing off ropes like a billiard ball, Greene in hot pursuit to bell.

R4: Lizzie leaves her right hand dangling as she pokes jabs while pivoting clockwise - knocking little taps pesky enough to force Ashley's guard up. Greene trying to jab-with in spots - trying to step inside and whack the ribcage...Olsen legging out of range rather than hang around and trade-with. Down the stretch, Lizzie times Ashley's duck&scoot to perfection, sweeping the dangling right up and over her guard, clubbing Greene across the mouth to send her staggering back to the ropes just as the bell sounds.

R5: Lizzie supple, jabbing off the hip; feeding Ashley the straight right, then leaning onto her back leg to whip limber hooks to chin. Greene's breasts & face getting poked and swatted, but she's bulling forward, answering precision with clubbing ferocity as she keeps up the pressure to body. Lizzie sliding back, easing herself to ropes, then putting left shoulder into Ashley's body while pivoting, turning Greene counter-clockwise, then luring her forward again as the process repeats through the first two minutes. Down the stretch, straight right hand punches Ashley hard on the mouth, while she's staring, Elizabeth doubles up, puts another right hand in there; shifts weight to put her whole body into a cutting hook across Greene's chin and ASHLEY'S DOWN! Go-home left puts promising slugger on the canvas and keeps her there through the count as Liz Olsen gets the KO5!

After: (By Ginny) Olsen grinning for the camera. “I hope her scriptwriter felt that,” she quips. “Guess we know who the better fighter is now...not that there was EVER any doubt about who's the better actress! Guess I am going to have to step up my game if I want to have a winning record in my first twenty fights (one standard for judging a rising star) because I'm going to need to win two straight. Lemme see, who's available...Hewitt, Johansson, Perabo...plenty of red meat.”

Greene grumbling, but trying her best to play the good sportsmanship card from her otherwise weak hand. “Hey, she's a good fighter, I never said she wasn't. She's beaten several good fighters and tonight I got caught. It happens. I'm pretty sure Liz Olsen hasn't seen the last of me, we're both gonna be around the bantam title picture for quite a few years to come. Who knows, maybe this is the start of a beautiful rivalry that will go on for a decade or so.”
