Eva Mendes versus Jordana Brewster

BEFORE: Eva Mendes wants to forget about a painful upset loss to Meghan Markle as quickly as possible and there's no better way to do that then immediate return to winning ways at the expense of fellow Latin American, Jordana Brewster. The Panama-born actress has been featured infrequently on the fight cards in recent months but eyes a massive Hollywood scalp in Mendes which would very likely improve her stock and prove many naysayers wrong. Because contrary to a popular belief Brewster isn't quite done in the female celebrity boxing world yet despite struggling with free agency and there's every chance she's gonna stalk the previous Mendes victrix Markle next in case of beating Eva tonight.
Eva Mendes wears her trademark leopard bikini top, black boy-leg trunks and golden gloves. Light brown hair tied in a ponytail on top of her head. Jordana Brewster wears a red sports bra, black hip-huggers and red gloves. Dark brown hair wet, loose and curly. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.
Round 1:
Jordana's off to a better start outworking Eva in close range and working around her tummy to reel the Hollywood A-lister back after a fast tempo jabbing becomes too hot to handle. Mendes struggles with a precise overhand response and is forced to dance around in avoidance as Brewster shows no signs of hesitation and goes all out after her opponent. Another close range tangle punishes Eva's guts and backs her into the ropes, even a clubbing left hook on the nose doesn't prevent her from covering up in earmuff afterwards as Jordana harpoons her on the body and keeps spiking the ribcage with Mendes looking subdued and unable to respond in the final minute.
Round 2:
Brewster seeks more success but gets caught by Mendes ducking low and bumping into her ribcage instead to open the second round. Eva moves into sending uppercuts on the chest and rocks the red sports bra wobbling Jordana to the side and crashing a straight jab onto her chin afterwards. Brewster backs off but fails to find her feet and enables Mendes to pile more pressure; heavy jabs pierce the guard and bounce off the chin to send Jordana against the turnbuckle as Eva jumps at her chest thereafter and uppercuts the target to dismantle the guard and return the favor from the previous round by just pounding away at the body and leaving Brewster aching behind a tight guard in the last seconds of the round.
Round 3:
Neither woman thinks much of a proper defence now as the fight turns into a personal Latin feud with heavy leather snapping heads on both sides and leading to early bruises especially for Mendes who gets nailed by a left/right combo to wobble back and swing the momentum into Brewster's favor. Jordana pierces the mitts and cross hooks the leopard top before clipping the jaw and dominating the close range exchange to punch Eva back to the ropes. Mendes struggles to match her rival's footwork and soaks up more punishment along the ropes; Jordana works sharp jabs from close range and pounds Eva towards the turnbuckle where she slices her navel and bends forward aching... Mendes tries to clinch but bumps off Brewster's shoulder and gets whipped back against the turnbuckle with a heavy uppercut right at the bell.
Round 4:
Jordana rushes her approach but makes the same mistake as in the second round and gets caught by a ducking Eva on the stomach to lose her balance and bend to the side. Mendes with a low percentage hook on the temple that finds the mark as Jordana's arm was too low to provide any cover and a left handed follow up bounces off the boobs to wobble her towards the ropes. She rolls down the windows to maintain her balance and Eva clatters into her ribcage with a loud gasp as she just finds the range to land that shot and bend Jordana against the turnbuckle. Instead of jumping away Brewster waits for Mendes to find another follow up and they both rifle a hook at exactly the same time which blasts Mendes across the nose but has Brewster nursing a fat lip and a yelling out the loudest. Mendes finds the connection earlier afterwards and nails Brewster on the cheeks as the guard was nowhere to be found. Bruising series snaps Jordana's head and keeps her trapped on the ropes; Mendes goes all high now and tries to dismantle her gloves for good but has to accept a late clinch as the Panama-born actress salvages the much needed respite at the conclusion of an untidy round in general.
Round 5:
This isn't perhaps a fight for the decades but both Latin vixens show exceptional courage rarely seen at their age and there's truly something personal about it as Jordana comes out firing and tags Eva's cheeks in the opening phase enforcing another close range tangle. Eva tries to bump her way through the jugs and leans on the fellow actress and works quick uppercuts; she outmuscles Jordana and drops her on the heels before digging into her stomach again. Brewster aches in discomfort but wraps her arms around Eva's waist and tries to wrestle her back to the ropes; Mendes keeps drilling the ribcage though and breaks her off; Jordana stumbles back and drops her right hand down just as Eva cracks a left hander clean on the jaw and makes Brewster scream out and wobble forward into an uppercut on the nose.... this punch just whips Brewster back and SENDS HER CRASHING DOWN ON HER BACK with the legs shooting up in the air... someone just got smoked big time as Jordana rolls onto her side and sobs in pain.. Mendes surprised by the big punch but that's the same kind of shot that she took Nicole Scherzinger to the cleaners last spring too... Brewster's down in a heap and unable to beat the count!!! KO5 Eva Mendes!!!
AFTER: Jordana remians on her side unable to hold back the tears and the ref has to check up with her and signals for the doctor as there's a suspicion Eva broke her jaw with that haymaker. The proud Panama woman's in all kinds of bother her as Mendes looks on without any sign of sympathy on her face whatsoever. The redemption from the Meghan Markle disaster seems to be completed even though she's far from settling into winning ways and continues to receive mixed reviews from the SSB pundits. "That was an elite KO of a tough bytch!", she says after the fight, "Some people want me to retire and then say I only beat random jobbers and can't handle any demanding opponents. Well, Brewster is no slouch! Every Latin girl out there can make a run towards the top as we're natutral at punishing each other and other wannabe blondes! It's a shame Jenny McCarthy enjoys her pension, I'd really like to shut her mouth since she's definitely the one that got away from me over the years!"
Final result: Eva Mendes def. Jordana Brewster KO5.
