SASHA PIETERSE VS NINA DOBREV
(PRETTY LITTLE PUNCHERS, INC. VS LOOKOUT! BOXING)
Results: Lookout   Writing: Archer

Before: “Welcome to ‘The Vampire Diaries vs Pretty Little Losers War’, Sasha,” mocks Nina Dobrev at the pre-fight press conference. “I am surprised they would let a mere teenager fight someone as tough and experienced as I am. They ought to be reported or something. Go easy on the kid? Why, I’ve got my professional pride to think of and I can’t go easy on someone who is stupid enough to get in the ring with me when they aren’t ready. If she is smart, she just stay down the first time I put her on the canvas.”

Sasha Pieterse sits down the table and looks daggers at the older brunette. As Nina turns to leave the podium, Sasha is on her feet and the two bang shoulders as they pass. Nina glares at the blonde and hisses:
“You are trying my patience you little twerp,”

“And you are trying my patience you nasty bully,” Sasha hisses back.

The Security men who were so conspicuous by their belated appearance at the Troian Bellisario/Candice Accola are quickly on hand now. Nina is escorted to her seat while Sasha is led to the podium to address the press.

“I want to thank Nina for that ‘classy’ welcome to the conflict between our two casts,” Sasha says. “It is just the sort of thing that has made them known as the ‘TrampiD’s’. Well, I am almost 19 now and I’ve had 6 fights. I’m ahead 4-2, I think there are plenty of rookies my age out there who can’t say that. I’ve been wanting to show those Vampire Diaries girls what I can do to them. Now I’ve got my chance. No, Nina, I am not going down the first time you land square on me. If I go down, I’ll be back up and knock her flat on her fat ass!”

“Hey! You leave my ass out of this! It’s a lot better looking than yours, kid!” Nina calls out mockingly.

Sasha turns and snaps: “This is my time, Dobrev, you keep your mouth shut!”

“You started it, kid!”

“And stop calling me, ‘kid’!” Sasha cries.

“Sure, kid, sure,” Nina replies with a smirk.

Sasha looks ready to go down and tackle her mocker, but a big Security guard blocks her access to Nina Dobrev: “Well, you won’t have a bodyguard in the ring—I’ll see you there!” Nina calls out peeking around the beefy guard.

Nina just smirks and nods.

The night of the fight brings fresh tension as Nina Dobrev and Sasha Pieterse enter the ring. The crowd is still buzzing over Candice Accola of the TVD’s defeat and post-fight humiliation of the PLL’s Troian Bellisario. Kat Graham and Penelope Mitchell of TVD are seen at ringside holding up  a “TVD: 2 PLL: 0” sign. Nina grins at her castmates, while Sasha ignores them, Ashley Benson and Shay Mitchell are in the PLL seats (curiously with Adelaide Kane and Willa Holland, who while members of the Pretty Little Punchers, also work The CW and are not noted for their pro-Sasha sympathies) and cheer their young castmate on.

Nina is in a royal blue bikini with a blue ribbon bow at the end of her ponytailed hair. Sasha is in a hot pink bikini, her blonde hair coiled into a battle braid. Blue gloves for Nina and hit pink ones for Sasha. Nina looking nervous as the big moment comes and Nina crowds her during the instructions as on obvious gesture of intimidation. Sasha stands her ground and referee wags his finger at Nina for this untoward behavior. The two smack gloves when they are suppose to touch and referee has to again step in to send the ladies to their corners to await the bell.

R1: Fight gets off to rapid start as Nina and Sasha move out briskly, guards up and start firing away as they maneuver around the ring for position. Nina finding more openings early, smiting Sasha to the tummy, then her breasts and finally banging the young blonde’s forehead  over the top of Sasha’s guard. Sasha frowning with concentration, ducking down, trying to make herself less of a target, Takes Sasha to the second minute to out on her first offensive flurry of the night. Shows some nice bobbing and weaving as she gets in to smack some straight rights into Nina’s breasts. Nina not liking this jabs back, but Sasha moving her head evasively and plants a nice teeth-rattling uppercut to the brunette’s chin. However Nina counters with some thumping hooks to Sasha’s tummy forcing the blonde to retreat. Nina keeps up the pressure to the bell, Sasha blocking many shots but has to eat several deep hooks to the midsection. Nina wins the round on points.

R2: Nina looking self-assured as she goes after Nina at the beginning of this round, but Sasha moving evasively and Nina’s finding ot hard to land effectively. When Nina tries to rush Sasha, she gets a face full of Sasha’s jabbing and has to pull back. Sasha shows good pursuit tactics keeping the counter-pressure on Nina and driving her back towards the ropes. Nina mostly getting hit to the body (Sasha showing a fondness for working over Nina’s breasts), but late in the round Sasha able to get some shots in over Nina’s high guard to bang her eye sockets. Nina seems flustered by the young blonde’s aggression and punching slows up. Nina able to even things up by winning her first round.

R3: Now it’s Sasha Pieterse looking self-assured at the beginning of the round, but Nina unpleasantly surprises her by lightning strike right to the jaw at the very first clash. Sasha staggered by the blow and Nina is relentless in her follow-up, raining punches down  on Sasha as the blonde doubles forward, face in gloves. Sasha seems to be fighting on pure instinct as she tries to jab against Nina and work her way out of the leather storm. Nina cuts her off and drives the young fighter back to the ropes. Sasha starts clinching repeatedly, this breaks up the momentum of Nina’s attack, but Sasha is still on the defensive most of the round, though she keeps to her feet. Bell rings to end the round. Sasha looking dazed and forlorn as she heads for her stool. Nina Dobrev gets to savor a shutout win in the round.

R4: Sasha comes off stool with a bruised and swollen, but clear-eyed as she closes with Nina, anxious to pick up where she left off. Sasha gets hit repeatedly to the sides to light up her ribs, then Nina hooks to the blonde’s tummy and breasts. Sasha trying to dodge, but still getting caught. Nina seems to feel she’s got the younger fighter set up and lunges in to work Sasha’s chin, but Sasha’s ready for her, Sasha turns shoulder to block the incoming and then sends her own right crashing into Nina’s wide-open left jaw. NINA GOES DOWN. Nina caught flush spins away, gets tangled in her own feet and CRASHES DOWN ON SIDE. Sasha looks startled, then breaks into a triumphant grin and scampers to the beutral corner. The referee moves in as Nina has pushed herself into a sitting position with a “What happened--?” look on her face. Nina shakes off the punch as she takes the 8-count before rising. Nina rises but she looks sluggish as Sasha comes charging in. Nina takes to her heels to put distance between herself and the blonde. Sasha dogged pursues, but looks irritated that she can’t get Nina to stand and fight. Bell rings with Nina still backing away and Sasha not getting the finishing shots landed. Still, the round is clear Sasha Pieterse win.

R5: Nina must really have had her bell rung by that Sasha Pieterse right because she still hasn’t recovered in this round. Sasha swarms in again growing increasingly reckless as she tries to knock the brunette out. All sorts of opportunities’ seem available for Nina to strike back, but she’s not taking them. Nina purely defensive, but it is an effective defense, she keeps evading or blunting Sasha’s frenzied punches, with only the occasional jabbing sequence to keep herself in this round. Sasha finally gets an uppercut into Nina’s chin to shake the brunette’s legs, but this makes Nina pull back and Sasha finds herself chasing the older fighter again. The young blonde just can’t quite her wily opponent, but Nina gets a share of boos for not taking the highly risky tactic of fighting her opponent toe to toe. Nina tries to ignore the hooting, but she scowls as she sits on her stool. Sasha chattering away happily on her stool.

R6: Sasha still on the attack and Nina still in escape-and-evasion mode. Sasha finally gets frustrated and just tackles Nina, shoving her against the ropes. Sasha pins Nina back and pounds her belly with both gloves until referee pushes her away. Foinger-waging warning for Sasha, who shoots Nina and angry “This is all your fault!” ;look. Nina manages a weary smile. The fight resumes after the scolding and Nina is showing a tighter defense. She is carving up Sasha’s face as the blonde closes in, apparently willing to take the risk for the chance to finally nail the brunette. Nina takes a hard Sasha hook to the sternum and her guard drops. Left/right to the jaw puts a shiver in Nina’s strong legs. Nina has had enough of this, she slips off to the left and Sasha in another fruitless chase to the bell. Sasha panting with effort as she walks back to her corner. Nina stone-faced as she heads for her corner. Boos started again and she doesn’t like them, even though taking to her bicycle was a perfectly sensible tactic.

R7: Nina Dobrev is back! Sasha comes charging out determined to keep Nina from out-running her, but BANG! Nina pastes Sasha with a sweeping left and sweeping right as the blonde comes recklessly charging in. Sasha goes spinning away, her legs turned to rubber and Nina can’t help pausing to enjoy the sight of her tormentress is distress. It’s only a few moments respite for Sasha as Nina moves after her swiftly and starts pummeling her. Sasha’s defenses are down as she tries desperately to clear her spinning head and she gets her body thoroughly pounded even as she manages to protect her head with her gloves. Nina circling around, looking for openings and landing hard when she does. Sasha in trouble, but manages to right with ship with her jab late in the round. Nina gets some answering shots to the head and body that make her more cautious. Sasha defensive to the bell and Nina takes the round wide, but she was unable to do more do more damage to Sasha’s swollen face and aching body.

R8: Nina ready to maintain the pressure on the fading Sasha, but the young blonde fights back as the brunette closes in on her.  Rapid-fire back and forth punching is impressive so late in a grueling bout. Sasha taking it the midsection, but getting shots over Nina’s raised guard to smack up her forehead and eyebrows. One strong Sasha Pieterse right opens a nasty, bleeding gash on Nina’s forehead. Nina glaring at the stubborn younger woman and goes for her face again.  Sasha using her jab to blunt the attack and then moves to one side to stuff some shots into Nina’s ribs. When Nina swings around , Sasha fires a straight right slides in over Nina’s gloves to smack her upper lip and nose. Nina knocked back in pain and confusion, but Nina’s showing her fatigue late as she is slow in the pursuit. Nina able to recover and block Sasha the rest of the way, but Nina manages to win the round narrow.

R9: Both fighters slow moving out of their corners. The battle of attrition has left both these young ladies wrecked, but determined. Unfortunately for Sasha Pieterse, Nina Dobrev has enough presence of mind and energy to launch an unexpected attack by feinting to the head and ramming all-out hooks into Sasha belly. Sasha doubling up, then Nina rams another hook home—this one into Sasha’s solar plexus. Sasha cries out and crashes to her knees, her right arm wrapped around her ravaged midsection, her left hand on the canvas steadying herself as the referee starts to count. Sasha panting, eyes reflecting the pain she feels, but then her fighting spirit seems to return and she forces herself to stand. Nina just smiling, she’s clearly thinking now she has more time to work the blonde over and moves in to do just that. Sasha tries to use her jab to keep Nina away, but the punches are weak and poorly aimed now. Sasha’s swollen jaw takes a couple more shots before the blonde pulls out of there. Sasha in retreat, fairly good at fighting backing up, but her punching is now lacking power. However, she does manage some quick moves that make Nina miss. Nina does not appreciate the hoots and jeers this gets from the PLP fans and goes after Sasha with some angry (and wild punching). Sasha gets some relief from dodging these, but Nina soon calms down and has Sasha backed up to the ropes for a pounding to the sides and head, before Sasha breaks it up with clinches. Nina maintains the pressure trying to finish the job, but can’t get the battered blonde down again. Sasha pulls herself together after the bell and walks slowly, but defiantly back to her corner as her fans cheer. Nina doesn’t seem impressed. She looks coldly after Sasha with both hands on her hips than turns back to her own corner in obvious irritation.

R10: Frantic work in the PLP corner trying to get Sasha ready for the final round, Sasha is warned that Nina could well be ahead on points. The blonde nods with grimly and bangs her gloves together with determination. Nina is having her battered face attended to, but she is plainly focusing on victory—and not merely by a points total. Bell rings and the two fighters head for each at midring.  Sasha lunges in after a quick feint and manages to land a hard left to Nina’s cheekbone. Nina bangs back to Sasha’s chest and the two fall into a shoulder-to-shoulder exchange that sees both adding still more hurt to each other’s aching body. Stays even for about a minute, but Nina suddenly swings around and clouts the side of Sasha’s head flattening it against her left shoulder. Sasha’s legs turn rubbery and she falls on her left side. She gets to all fours panting hard and then stands up to break count. Nina swarm in Sasha is driven to the ropes, she desperately slides sideways along the strands, but Nina cuts her off and just goes to town as Sasha’s arms are spread out uselessly along the ropes. Sasha is helpless as Nina pounds away at breasts and head. Sasha clearly helpless! Ringsiders screaming for the referee to act! AND THE REF (FINALLY) JUMPS IN! Official cradles Sasha Pieterse to safety as Nina Dobrev steps back, wipes  forearm along her sweat soaked brow and raises her right arm in victory!

WINNER: NINA DOBREV TKO10

After: “I TOLD YOU I WOULD BEAT THAT BLONDE TRASH!” Nina howls in glee as she watched Sasha sag on her stool. “THOSE PLL JOBBERS CAN’T STOP US!”

Nina takes a brief turn around the ring and makes a signal to Kat Graham and Penelope Mitchell.  The Vampire Diaries castmates slip out of their seats and move to block Ashley Benson and Shay Mitchell as she headsa for Sasha Pieterse, who has been left unguarded when Nia Peeples turns away to confer with PLL’s Communications Director Autumn Reeser.

Sasha pulled to her feet and to everyone’s astonishment, put across Nina’s shoulders. Sasha  doesn’t realize what’s happening until Sasha pulled down on her head and legs. She’s in an over-the-shoulders backbreaker! Crowd is stunned. They sure weren’t expecting a wrestling move from Nina Dobrev! Then Nina starts to spin and even more astonishingly she raises (or at least tries to) Sasha over head in a military press! Not quite achieving the military press, Nina settles for then letting Sasha drop to the mat with a resounding crash.

But Nina is still not done! She starts walking around the helpless, groaning blonde and stomping at her. However Nina has gone to far this time.  Into the ring comes the most unlikely PLL rescue squad—Adelaide Kane and Willa Holland. They grab Nina, hoist her up and send HER crashing down on her back! Then as Nina lies moaning on the canvas, Adelaide and Willa grab Sasha and pull her away. They are reinforced when Shay and Ashley fight their way passed Penelope and Kat to reach the ring.

Security flood ring before the situation gets anymore out of hand. Nina helped away by Kat and Penelope complains later:

“They had no call to do that! So I did more than walk the punk! I was just trying to be a little original in post-fight!”

“I haven’t seen anything like that since the days of Torrie Wilson  and Stacy Keibler!” Veteran Nia Peeples declares, but adds “I have to admit I was pleased to see Addie and Willa stick up for a stablemate.”

“Willa and I admit we’re not exactly members of Sasha’s fan club, but we agreed Dobrev and her henchgirls were out of control and we could not allow ANY stablemate of ours to be treated like that!” explains Adelaide.

“Yes, of course I thanked them,” Sasha said, “and I admit it was totally unexpected, but I owe them.”

Post-fight antics should not be allowed to take away from what was a hard-fought fight to the finish. Both fighters gave it their all, with Nina able to retain enough strength at the end to batter Sasha into the stoppage. Sasha seems to recover quickly and is soon telling press she thinks she can beat Nina “next time.”

“Some people never learn,” Nina smirks, “but if she wants another lesson it could come somewhere down the line.”
