BEFORE:

"You know," says Elizabeth with a smile, "Decker kind of irritates me. She's never accomplished a thing and she acts like she's someone special. She's not. And I'm going to enjoy proving it."

"Mitchell is a stay busy for me," says Brooklyn with a lovely smile. "I need to get some rounds while I wait for my next big fight, and she's here to do exactly that. Give me some rounds. And she'll give me EXACTLY as many as I want."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "We're beginning the second half of our card..."

McCarthy: "What's THAT noise?"

Cassie: "Would you use the tablet Uncle Wiz gives you for something besides a COASTER to set your water bottle on?"

McCarthy: "I was TOLD it was water proof!"

Tess: "That's HARDLY the point!"

O'Dell: "A-HEM! The song is 'Life and Death', and it comes from the 'Lost' soundtrack. And, on her way to the ring is one of the stars of that show, Elizabeth Mitchell!"

McCarthy: "I think Weirdo made a mistake with this one. Mitchell not only HAS an FCBA win, she has FOUR of them and is actually a career .500 fighter. She's no tomato can..."

O'Dell: "Mitchell into the ring and helped off with the robe to reveal a black bikini and a body that looks closer to 24 than 44..."

McCarthy: "Like I said. Nothin' but a NUMBER."

O'Dell: "And down go the lights..."

McCarthy: "RIDICULOUS!"

O'Dell: "And the laser show backed by 'Also Sprach Zarathustra' begins and that can only mean 'The 21st Century Goddess', the gorgeous Brooklyn Decker, is on her way to the ring..."

McCarthy: "If she can fit her GIANT head through the doors!"

O'Dell: "As usual, Decker taking her time walking the aisle..."

McCarthy: "If she took any MORE time, this fight would be on NEXT MONTH'S card!"

O'Dell: "But, she's into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve to reveal that yellow bikini, and the crowd still likes it plenty based on the reaction..."

McCarthy: "Maybe I should get up there and show them what a REAL body looks like..."

Cassie: "See, I'm not sure if you know what the word 'real' means..."

McCarthy: "Of course I...YOU LITTLE...SHUT UP, SCABBO!"

O'Dell(sighing): "The ladies are about ready. Let's get some picks. Tess favors Decker. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Like I said, Mitchell isn't a tomato can, so she's better than Decker. Mitchell is the pick."

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess..."

O'Dell: "And, here we go. Decker wants to go to the jab immediately, but Mitchell wants to play that game, too. Liz as limber and lanky as Brooklyn and she likes the gun platform stuff, so we quickly settle into a slow circle of jab and jab as both women look to create openings for right hands."

McCarthy: "Mitchell's figured out how to beat Decker already. She's holding her ground and boxing, and if you do that, you can beat this girl every time!"

O'Dell: "Decker using that heavy Front Street jab, but the older blonde giving as good as she gets here. Mitchell very athletic. Moving well. Getting good geometry and making Decker turn with to get on target."

Cassie: "Brooke likes to back girls up with that left hand, and Mitchell's not backing up."

O'Dell: "She is not. Instead, she keeps turning to her right, away from Decker's power, making the younger woman move the feet, staying off center, and doing an excellent job with the left. Neither fighter doing a lot of damage as the final seconds tick off, but both scoring points. There's the bell. Two-way round, but Mitchell."

Tess: "And the veteran gets the early 10-9 lead."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Into the second and Decker determined to back Mitchell up with that left, but Liz not having any. Mitchell continuing to turn, work her own jab, angle up on Decker, frustrating the younger woman's efforts."

McCarthy: "I'm starting to ENJOY this, because Decker's getting ticked off..."

O'Dell: "And she's getting the worst of things, too. Mitchell now double-tapping that jab, stepping forward and clinching, banging body on the inside. We've seen this tactic before from her, in the match she won against Pare, and she's making it work here..."

Tess: "Blowing up Decker's rhythm, isn't she Cassie..."

Cassie: "Got her completely out of sorts now. Brooke can't get anything going."

O'Dell: "She most definitely can not. She's not able to get the jab off, she can't maintain space now that Mitchell's determined to come forward. She's off on everything, and Liz is the reason for that. The older blonde showing plenty of class and smarts as the final seconds tick away. There's the bell and Mitchell trying to suppress a smile as Decker stalks back to her corner."

Tess: "She's got a lot to smile about. Won that one wide and now has a 20-18 edge."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Into the third and Mitchell continues to want to work forward behind the jab. Decker now stepping to herself and we're right into a phone booth off the bat. And some heavy leather now being exchanged as the two blondes are toe to toe and lettin' 'em go!"

Cassie: "Interesting adjustment from Decker, rather than keep trying to get space, she's willing to bang inside."

O'Dell: "And Brookie doing an awful lot of body work. She's banging ribs, lats, and abs. Mitchell responding in kind, but working more upstairs than the younger blonde. Both girls landing well, though neither has given up on defense. Both still getting the gloves back, still moving the heads ans shoulders, but, at this range, a lot of stuff landing."

McCarthy: "I suspect Decker's thinking this body work might wear down an older fighter, but she's barking up the wrong tree with Mitchell, who's still rock solid and in great shape."

O'Dell: "No question about that. Liz hasn't slowed down at all, even near the end of rounds, and she's not doing that now. She's also not backing up any, despite some solid shot from Decker. It's grinding, digging stuff right to the bell, and Decker's on the board."

Tess: "And she avoids the dreaded 30-27 hole, instead cutting Mitchell's lead to 29-28."

ROUND FOUR: "Fourth begins like the third ended. The two fighters right together and they begin to pound away at one another. Even MORE body work from Decker now, and Mitchell beginning to concentrate there as well. This is beginning to look like a war of attrition, Mac.."

McCarthy: "I used to LOVE these. I could stand and bang body with girls all night and just WAIT for them to crumble..."

Cassie: "I remember how well that worked against Neve the night she shut you out..."

McCarthy: "She NEVER...I was ROBBED...SHUT UP, SCABBO!"

O'Dell: "You can hear the thump of leather against meat as these two rangy blondes pound away at one another. Decker working those ribs and paying some pretty close attention to the abs, too. Mitchell hooking the flanks..."

Cassie: "This is head-on-shoulder stuff, and it really is an effort by both girls to break the other down. It went from a lot of body to almost ALL body pretty quickly."

O'Dell: "And that's where it's stayed. The fighters are doing JUST enough upstairs to keep one another honest. All the investment is taking place in the torso, and those investments are bearing fruit. Both girls pinking up as we come down the stretch. Good right hook to the ribs by Mitchell and a sharp uppercut to the chin from Decker takes us to the bell. Close. But Brooke."

Tess: "And we're even at 38."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "We move into the fifth with more close-in body work. Both blondes simply coming together mid-ring and banging away downstairs, again doing just enough up top to keep the other honest..."

Cassie: "It's getting really nasty in there. Nothing illegal, mind, but plenty of hard, short shots designed to tenderize and they have to be having an effect...."

O'Dell: "And the battle jumps to another front as Decker goes RACK and Mitchell responds in kind!"

Tess: "Not surprised. Remember Brooke's bout with Cat Bell. That became about rack supremacy, and this one might be headed that way!"

O'Dell: "No question plenty of ammo is being sent in the direction of the bra cups now, though the other areas of the body are still being worked, too..."

McCarthy: "I used to LOVE it when a girl went rack on me. It NEVER went well for them..."

Cassie: "That's...never mind. Too easy..."

McCarthy: "What ARE you babbling about, Scabbo?"

O'Dell: "Thirty seconds left here in the fifth, and it's getting plenty vicious in there. Again, nothing illegal, but this is all about piling up the hurt and seeing if the other fighter can take it. For the moment, at least, both CAN. There's the bell and a staredown before the blondes turn back to their corners. Decker's round."

Tess: "And she's in the lead 48-47, but we have a long way to go."

ROUND SIX:

O'Dell: "Sixth round underway and jug mugging is the word of the day! Decker and Mitchell right back at one another and they are paying a LOT of attention to the rack right now..."

McCarthy: "I LOVE this! Makes me want to go find Britney and get her in the ring as soon as this one is over..."

O'Dell: "Neither woman backing up a step. It's head-on-shoulder body working stuff, as the two statuesque blondes simply thump away at one another. They're not just going rack, either. They're hooking ribs, banging abs and lats, punishing everything below the neck and above the belt..."

Cassie: "And I wonder if Mitchell isn't in Decker's head on this one, throwing down a challenge and leading Decker into accepting it. I know for a fact this wasn't the fight plan Front Street had coming in..."

O'Dell: "Trench warfare may not have been the plan, but it's the reality as we head into the final 45 seconds of the sixth and DOWN GOES MITCHELL! DECKER A SHORT RIGHT HOOK AND ELIZABETH SPILLS TO HER RIGHT SIDE!"

Tess: "After that head swivel, the referee doesn't need to count..."

O'Dell: "But he will, as Decker blows the figurative smoke off her glove..."

McCarthy: "Have I mentioned how much I HATE her?"

O'Dell: "Three. Four. Five. Six. Mitchell unmoving. Seven. Eight. Nine. TEN! It's over! That quickly. One-punch power from Brookie D ends Mitchell's night, and your winner by KO6 is "The Twenty-First Century Goddess, Brooklyn Decker!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Brooklyn Decker, and, Brooke, looked like some serious body work going on in there..."

Brooklyn: "There's no woman in the world who has a body as good as MINE, so, when she decided she wanted to invest down there, I was more than willing to go along. Sooner or later, she was going to crack, because I WASN'T."

Tess: "But it wasn't a body shot that finished it. Where did that hook come from..."

Brooklyn: "She was breaking down to the body. Her guard was coming down. I just waited for my opportunity and buried the right. I did her a favor. She couldn't have lasted another round digging with me. This way, I saved her from a few more minutes of punishment."

Tess: "Who says Front Street doesn't do JMD. A lot of rack work..."

Brooklyn: "She started it. I finished it. Just like I'll do if I get a shot at Perry. I want one. I deserve one. And I'm going to GET one."
