PAULA PATTON VS CHRISTINA HENDRICKS

BEFORE: This fight has everything the welterweight division needs to become the talk of the town again, a buxom redhead on a four win hot streak and a curvy African American that sports some cleavage herself and still not letting people forget about her Upset of the Decade victory over Amanda Righetti back in 2012. In other words it's Christina Hendricks trying to enter the divisional elite picture and Paula Patton - fresh off the destruction of Elizabeth Berkley - and gunning to become the hottest independent fighter of the whole SSB right now!

No matter who wins tonight the fans are guaranteed to witness a glamour show and Hendricks' rack would make Jeri Ryan jealous of so much exposure and while the welters haven't enjoyed too much JMD action thus far, the redhead is a natural talent and manages to easily outshine Patton during the disrobe procedure. Indeed Paula's eyes are glued to Christina's mounds but there's every sign she'd like to punch her topless tonight and add another redhead scalp to her trophy cabinet.

Paula Patton wears an orange bandeau bikini from the Complex magazine photoshoot, black boots and gloves. Dark brown hair in loose waves. Christina Hendricks wears a pale blue basque top barely keeping her impressive rack covered, white knickers, boots & gloves. Short carrot hair in loose curls. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the welterweight division.

Round 1:
Paula's clearly jealous of that rack as she tries to make a jump start on the redhead and slips by for some chest mugging before getting rocked in response. Hendricks' got some punch in her and snaps Patton's head back before looking to add more pressure but fails to punish the fellow actress as the guard proves rock solid second time of the asking and traps the redhead into a close range midsection assault that drives her back down the stretch. Patton in pursuit mode thereafter, looking more lively and accurate of the two and she swings more leather on the cleavage to keep Christina in balance check and unable to mount a late comeback. More jabs from Patton as the round concludes and Hendricks barely stayed away from the corner as she soaked up some leather in the closing moments and wobbled back in worrying fashion.

Round 2:
Patton tries to mug the redhead's chest again and enforces a close range brawl landing single shots but Hendricks' resistance finds some improvement and enables her to dish out midriff punishment and slow the younger actress down. Paula's eyes are still glued on the cleavage and she almost wrestles Christina down on the ground before getting caught over the top and bumped off for good. Another attempt goes begging shortly afterwards as Hendricks uppercuts her way through on the chin and rocks Patton's jaw to break free and nearly pummel her back towards the ropes as Paula tries to hang in the exchange but gets clipped on the cheeks too often for comfort and yields real estate as a result. Hendricks twerks her jugs in delight and tries to blow Patton's fuse, the younger of the two women is visibly dismayed by the support the redhead's mounds get from the audience!

Round 3:
Another close range assault that fails to bring Paula the desired effects, she slips the rack early but gets blocked off down the stretch and Christina shows some core strenght by wrestling her away and catching with a quick overhand on the temple. Patton wobbles back with a quiet whimper and circles away from subsequent charge as Hendricks ups the tempo and starts swinging around the head before eventually piercing Paula's guard and romping through her cheeks to push her back onto the turnbuckle in the final minute. She slips low and harpoons the navel to bend Patton forward and make her yelp in pain; she moves up for some chest mauling herself and signs off an impressive round with a belting cross on the nose that spins Patton's hair around her neck and leaves her badly sagging at the bell.

Round 4:
Shades of Bianca Kajlich disaster looms across Paula's mind but she refuses to buckle just yet and charges at the smiling redhead who really enjoyed the last couple of rounds only to finally be tagged properly between the arms as Patton's agility lands her that big hook on the jugs to wobble Hendricks off balance. The redhead tries to dominate the close range tussle anyway and strikes from the back foot but Paula bumps her off and bounces off the exposed rack to throw her off balance and land a crisp cross hook on the mouth that whips the older woman's head in a flush and sinks her in the middle of the ring. Another follow up over the top makes Hendricks think better off it however she can't match Patton's footwork and gets batted down towards the ropes after a feisty exchange where Paula nails her on the mouth one more time and sinks butt-in-ropes come the last thirty seconds of the round. Patton jumps into midriff frenzy and pummels the redhead around the elbows; Christina's trapped on the back foot and can only cover up high but that makes little difference to Paula thumping her guts out and screaming out right into her face after the bell.

Round 5:
Christina ups her pace across the canvas and finally matches Paula's own; both women tangle in overhand clubbing where Hendricks gets the better of the two and scythes Patton's nose with a brutal cross that tears some skin and bends the younger actress to the side with a loud scream; as she resumes her stance Christina can work on the bleeding nasal ridge and the redhead's eyes really glare in hatred in wake of the sudden injury to her opponent. Patton struggles to respond from the back foot and gets nailed a couple of times again before escaping into safety. Hendricks stalks her thereafter though and keeps swinging over the top to move Paula back against the turnbuckle in the final minute where she presses on with a drilling series between the arms and sinks Patton for good into a moaning disarray, working her breadbasket over and taking a slender but crucial lead on the scorecards at half-distance.

Round 6:
Paula can't quite believe in the cut across her nasal ridge and realizes she has to use the footwork into her favor in order to wear the redhead out before another clubbing punch can pretty much end the fight on the spot. Hendricks proved to be a much tougher opponent than Elizabeth Berkley but Patton still squares up to her and beats for the opening overhand as Christina seemed certain she's got into Paula's head and failed to raise her guard for once... a heavy left hook crashes off her eye and whips off balance but as the redhead is stuck to the spot, on comes Patton with a flurry of facial leather right back into this fight and just pounding the buxom actress back towards the ropes down the stretch as a quick switch on the guts really made Christina yelp in pain for a good measure. Still, the redhead desperately tries to tame the onslaught and bumps off from the back foot only for Patton to uppercut her chest in a familiar display from the opening rounds and reel her onto the turnbuckle through sheer ammount and committement. Paula slips by on the breadbasket and exposes some jelly guts in otherwise impressive stance before moving up through the arms again and rocking the balloon cups to dump Hendricks into a woozy mindset in the dying seconds. The crowd's always up for a good chest mugging and the early redhead support is replaced by joyful chants for Paula to punch Christina topless after all. Brawlin' & bruisin' but Patton's back in this one and mugs Hendricks' jugs after the bell one more time to inflict a massive no love lost stare from the older actress. Round 7:
Christina seeks immediate payback but only grazes the Patton flesh and wobbles forward after getting her weight balance all wrong and Paula just blasts a harpoon uppercut on the rack to make the redhead scream out and look down at her breasts threatetning to spawl out into public. This lapse in concentration proves to be a costly mistake as Patton adds a crunching uppercut on the jaw and finds a hook on the ear that drags the redhead straight into borrowed life territory... The redhead bursts out in anguish and loses her balance, drops the arms invitingly low for a put away hook and sure enough Patton just goes for the home run and cracks a left hand into the temple one more time TO SEND HENDRICKS TUMBLING DOWN ON HER BACK moments later... the crowd goes wild even if the redhead's top remains in tact but that's one huge set sticking out in the air as Christina's thumped down onto the canvas and trying to get up after a brief hold up... Paula breaths very heavily herself and needs to lean back against the ropes before going all "C'mon! Stay down, tramp!" after Hendricks still beats the count at eight but looking very vulnerable and almost rooted to the spot... Patton comes crashing down on her and rains punches on the head having the presence of mind to avoid the redhead's desperate chest cover... and now that's the home run alright as Paula just creams Hendricks' head back & forth and threatens to maul her face all over the place; the redhead drops her arms and bellows out into punchbag mode and gets her lips squashed into a bloody mess before the ref realizes his shirt has some red stains developing as Paula hammers away and threatens to disfigure the balloon chested foe... HE RUSHES IN AND HAULS PATTON OFF.. as Hendricks bursts into spasms with her face now matching the hair color and being pummelled into a bloody mess especially from the completely squashed lips... Brutal TKO7 Paula Patton!!!

AFTER: Ugh! That was downright vicious in the end and Paula stomps her foot in delight and shakes her glove right into Hendricks' face who just closes her eyes and allows the ref to escort her into safety. "How about that, tramp! God, that was soooo good! It's like punching Emily Ratajkowski into submission and making her admit I'm the better woman!". Paula still hasn't gotten over her marriage break-up but tonight's performance surely makes up for the Bianca Kajlich disaster which left the pundits wondering if she can still land a good punch and won't live off the Righetti upset for the rest of her career. She slumps down on her stool and glares in delight as the beaten redhead still avoids looking over at her and wants to disappear from the arena as quickly as possible. "Yeah, you will remember that beating for a while now, won't ya? That's what you get for almost breaking my nose!", as Christina is finally escorted back to the locker room, Paula can adjust her bandeau bikini and dwell on the crowd's reaction which applauds some mean welter girls in action and there's every sign out there telling Patton she can put butts in seats and salvage the divisional viewing numbers among the likes of Righetti, Freeman & Nolin as well, "I'm definitely Top 20 material and well, two or three more wins like this and people will forget my Kajlich failure!"

Only time will tell whether she's right or not though!
