Eva Mendes versus Alyson Michalka

Before: A best body contest to beat the band is happening right in front of the podiums for this fight. Both women nonchalantly preening as if having these types of bodies is as easy as a walk in the park but the smiles tell the whole story.
“Yeah, I’ve got no problem with a girl showing off the goods like that. I guess she’s the nueva ola girl, a little skinny, a big rack, not much on the backside. Then there’s this package right here, a little more meat on the bones not that I’m a Kardashian with more junk in my trunk than the Sanford & Son dump truck. I’m just right. Go ahead just ask Ryan and Will and Denzel and Nick and Tyrese. . . well you get the picture.” Eva Mendes states with the confidence of a woman who has worked with the best the business has to offer.
“No doubt Eva you are as sexy as they come. I can only hope to accomplish half of what you’ve done by the time it’s all said and done but the problem with having worked with all those significant others is that you have a history, a much longer one than mine. I plan on taking advantage of that with a serious beat down tonight.” Aly poses one more time for the crowd before heading down to the fight.

Rd 1 Eva looking good during her prance to mid ring. Latin fighter drawing hoots and hollers from the crowd at ringside. Two fighters moving about the ring feeling each other out. Mendes knowing that Michalka is young, quick and deadly starts out from a distance throwing jabs and sticking and moving. Michalka seeing the danger in wading in on the talented former champ is content to circle Eva and make use of her own jabs. Suddenly Mendes sneaks in smooth and fluid and lands a quick combination on the blonde. Crowd erupts watching their girl score on one of the better defensive fighters at bantam in the league. Michalka bounces off of the ropes and bolts to the side moving way too quickly for Mendes to move in and follow up with more blows. Michalka on her bicycle now easily scampering away from the stalking Mendes as the bell rings. Aly gives Eva a quick nod acknowledging the deft move that won Eva the round.
Rd 2 Mendes out with a purpose in this round. She’s not as timid as before moving on Michalka with more backbone. Mendes using a classic stiff forward leg combination set up hoping to catch the young blonde off kilter with superior technique. Aly not buying any of it with her own loosey goosey leggy style. She’s using her quickness to dodge the Latin beauty time and again as they move around the ring. Eva slick but telescoping her movements with her combinations breaks from her routine and attempts a haymaker only to be met with a series of jabs and a hard right hand as Aly takes advantage of the opening. Fight quickly turning into Mendes offering a strong defense and some counter punching against a quick powerful offense utilized by Michalka. Aly feeling pretty confident as long as she stays out of Mendes missile range and rushing in only in the very brief moments when an opening occurs. Yet despite the safety measures Aly still landing some decent punches as the round comes to a close.
Rd 3 More of the same at the outset of the round with Eva waiting for Aly’s advances and then trying to get inside with some smart counter punches to the body which is all Aly is giving her as she smooths her way around the ring all legs and arm reach working against her opponent. Michalka up on her toes bouncing all around Mendes and flicking jabs at her from every imaginable angle. Eva gamely catching Aly when even the slightest of openings are exposed making the blonde Bazz girl tread lightly and play it conservatively keeping her distance from such a smart and dangerous veteran. The tactical match keeps the scoring close during the round and the crowd watches the clever veteran maneuver her way into Michalka while Aly dances away from a great deal of the significant damage and tortures the gorgeous Latin fighter with jabs from outside of Eva’s reach and that are just bit too brisk for her to defend.
Rd 4 Eva tries to mix things up at center ring bobbing and weaving in and out of danger and continuing to work on Aly’s midsection. Mendes using her own quickness to maneuver on Michalka now. Mendes steps in and swings away with a left and then a right short well timed punches only to watch Aly ole her way out of trouble and return a right hand that just catches her head. Aly steps out and then moving to the left darts back in with a quick left and another right this time catching Mendes across the face and knocking her head back. Crowd on their feet as they see Eva’s legs give a shimmy. Michalka takes advantage of the first true opening of the night rocketing punches at Mendes with smooth fluidity. A left catches Mendes right on the noggin and an upper cut draws howls from the crowd as it just misses Eva’s chin. Mendes in full retreat now feeling the hurt from Michalka’s power punching finding herself up against the ropes while Michalka goes to town on the fully covered up Eva. All jabbing abandoned with Aly simply loading up and swinging away with all she’s got as the bell rings. A frustrated Aly Michalka trots back to her corner shaking her head thinking that she had the match done only to be throwing punches against one tough cookie.
Rd 5 Eva a little damaged but for the most part none the worse from the previous round comes out trying to impose her power on her quicker opponent. Michalka dodging as best she can and finding some free space. Mendes still too dangerous to simply wade in and just hammer away on. Aly sliding to her right just outside of Mendes’ range only to find an opening and rush in with a two punch combination, the last a right that connects against Eva’s arm so loudly the boom is clearly heard by the crowd. Eva shakes it off and bounces in with her own combination a left and two rights to Aly’s body who is retreating and throwing a right to keep Eva away when without warning . . . DOWN GOES MENDES! Michalka’s right hand catches the hunched over Mendes on the top of the head and sensing that she has dazed her Michalka by reflex follows up with a left hand uppercut to the chin. Eva on her side momentarily and then trying to climb up off the floor only to collapse back down to the canvas as the ref counts her out. Winner by KO – 5th round Aly Michalka!
After: Aly out to center ring to bounce gloves and give a quick hug to her opponent, Eva Mendes. There’s no animosity from the blonde only respect for a crafty and tough veteran fighter. “You know it was five rounds but it was five very scary rounds. She puts up a great defense and can counterpunch with the best of them.” Aly states nonchalantly as she leans back against the ropes taking questions. “It’s a crowded world at bantam and Bazz has four girls taking up some serious space in that world and I’m one of them so whichever of us gets to the top of the mountain first the others, well we’ll be rooting for her. Of course, each of us hopes that she’ll be the one that makes that climb.” Aly gives a megawatt smile and a quick wink before ducking out of the ring.
