LET'S TRY THIS AGAIN AT THE ASYLUM

BEFORE:

"Losing my management was tough," says Katrina with a gorgeous smile. "But, that just means I have to take every opportunity to prove how good I am so another stable will want to sign me. That starts tonight."

"She's long and athletic," says Anna with a nod. "And she has a mission tonight. No question she'll give me everything she has. But, it's not going to be enough."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'Miss Jackson' by Panic! At The Disco, and here comes former Diamond Boxing Club cutie Katrina Bowden..."

McCarthy: "Don't start that sexiest woman alive crap again. She might, MIGHT get a pictorial, but a centerfold? Please."

Cassie: "Well, at least Mac admitted someone's hot enough to get IN the magazine..."

Tess: "Yes, that's a switch..."

McCarthy: "Shut up, BOTH of you!"

O'Dell: "Drink up, boys, as Katrina enters the ring, is helped off with the robe, and strikes a pose in that purple and pink striped bikini the audience clearly likes..."

Tess: "No question she's in top shape..."

O'Dell: "And that's 'The Pain and the Passion' by Midnight Oil..."

McCarthy: "And, now we're talking. One of Front Street's two REAL fighters, 'The Aussie Enforcer', Anna Torv, is on her way to the ring!"

O'Dell: "Anna slaps glove to fist with Mac on her way to the ring, as usual. Climbs in, and is helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve to reveal that black two-piece she likes. Ladies getting ready. Time for some picks. Tess favors Anna. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Torv. No question about it."

Tess: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "It's unanimous. Let's see if the ladies are right. Bowden out of her corner quickly, snapping out a nice left jab. Katrina has a bit of height and reach on Anna and she clearly has plans to use it. Torv content to stay at range and counter punch right now."

Cassie: "Bowden showing a lot of movement. We saw some of this when she fought Kesha the last time she was here."

O'Dell: "Katrina not bouncing and circling, more of an in and out, side to side movement. Stops to set up and let 'em go when she's where she wants to be, then the feet get going."

McCarthy: "Torv patient. Not going to chase this kid. No point. She's scoring in counter.

Tess:" Take your time and feel her out, Mac?"

McCarthy: "Precisely. Get the timing down. Probe for weaknesses."

O'Dell: "Anna finding spots for counters. Putting together the odd flurry. Katrina busier, though, staying on lead, keeping up a nice, steady, accurate volume as we head into the final seconds. Torv slips a right, hooks the body with a left and there's the bell. Bowden's round."

Tess: "And by the little smile on her face as she heads back to the corner, she knows it."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second begins with Katrina right off the stool and after Anna again, banging out the left jab, using the side to side in an out movement to get the spacing and geometry she wants. Torv patient, working the counter..."

McCarthy: "RIGHT HAND, ANNA!"

O'Dell: "And that shook Bowden! Katrina's legs wobbled and that quickly she's in retreat! Torv stepping to, exploting the breakthrough, grabbing canvas from the younger woman, pinning her against the ropes and going to work..."

Cassie: "Torv in seek and destroy mode right now, Jenny..."

O'Dell: "And there's not a lot of seeking to be done. Bowden on the ropes in a high guard, putting the body on sale. Anna buying a little, but mostly working upstairs, banging punches off Katrina's guard, using the left to split the guard and set up hard right hands. Bowden trying to jab back, doing just enough to keep the referee at bay..."

Tess: "Give her credit. Katrina taking a beating, but she's hanging in there..."

O'Dell: "And she's going to last out the final seconds. There's the bell ending the second..."

McCarthy: "And no smile on Bowden's face as she heads back to the corner this time. The fight's even at 19, but Torv's in control."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Third round begins with Bowden's legs back under her. She's setting up behind the left again, using the feet to set up her punches. Torv again not chasing. Willing to work in counter, stay patient, look for opportunities..."

Tess: "A little surprised by this, Mac? Did you figure Anna to go in for the kill here?"

McCarthy: "She's reading the situation well. Bowden's recovered from that big right hand last round. No sense pressing now."

O'Dell: "Katrina showing that athleticism and boxing ability we saw against Kesha. She's holding her own in the exchanges, keeping them relatively short, slipping and dipping, giving Torv a constantly moving target. Anna working in counter, making good use of every opening Bowden presents to her..."

Cassie: "RIGHT HAND, TORV AGAIN!"

O'Dell: "Bowden stumbles and nearly goes down! Katrina in deep trouble. Anna in for the kill, STAGGERS BOWDEN with a left hook and DROPS HER TO HER BACK WITH A STRAIGHT RIGHT!"

McCarthy: "'Turn out the lights...the party's over...'"

O'Dell: "Count at three. Four. Five. Six. Bowden rolling to her belly. Seven. Eight. Nine. TEN! Katrina can get no further and the count passes her by! Your winner by KO3 is 'The Aussie Enforcer', Anna Torv!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Anna Torv, and, Anna, just like last month, you didn't waste any time..."

Anna(smiling): "Let me steal a line from Kesha. I get paid the same whether this goes a round or into overtime..."

Tess(laughing): "Ironically, as quickly as it ended, you were very patient..."

Anna(nodding): "She wanted to push pace, and I was OK with that. No sense in trying to force her off the lead. I knew I could get her in counter. And I did."

Tess: "What's next for Anna Torv?"

Anna: "I'd like to get another shot at the belts, of course. Anything that moves me in that direction, I'm up for."
