Selena Gomez versus Lucy Hale
(Lioness Club of America versus Pretty Little Punchers Inc.)

Before: It’s a crowded press conference. Selena Gomez and Lucy Hale sit at a long speakers table with a podium between them. They are both wearing dark colored jeans and white tops which bear the logos of their respective stables: Lioness Club of America for Selena and Pretty Little Punchers for Lucy.

Up first Selena Gomez all but licking her lips at the podium as she tells the press: “I am just thrilled another those Pretty Little Losers decided to step up and let me work her over. I mean I took Ashley Benson apart so many times they had to get out the instruction manual to figure out how to put her back together. So now I get to stomp down Lucy Hale’s career just as she’s feeling good about herself from beating Kristen Bell. Besides, I lost my last fight to Leighton Meester and that is something that never should have happened. This will make up for that with my fans. I can’t wait to tear into her.”

Lucy Hale at the podium for her turn, shakes her head in disbelief: “Gomie beat Ashley twice and okay, that’s a fact, but she’s not as hot as she thinks she is. I would have thought losing to Leighton Meester would be a wake up call, but, no, she just thinks more mouthing off will intimidate me somehow. That is such a lame strategy. Selena, I am not intimidated, I’m just repulsed by your behavior. This is a serious fight for me—I want to build on my victory over Bell, I’m not her to be the punchline for one your feeble jokes.”

“No,” Selena calls out, “you’re here to be my punching bag—because that’s how much better I am than you!”

Lucy scowls at the interruption: “You had your chance, Selena, let me have my chance to talk.”

“Just trying to keep it interesting,” Selena says innocently.

“I said shut your mouth!” Lucy said bluntly.

“Oooo, I’m scared now! Lucy Hale has threatened me. You guys all get that?” Selena calls out to the reporters.
Selena’s attention is directed to the crowd so she fails to see Lucy Hale shoot off the podium, grab a pitcher of ice water from the speakers table and throw it all over Selena! Selena leaps up in shock and fury to see Lucy grinning at her as water drips off the thoroughly soaked Gomez.

“I knew that would shut you up!” Lucy says with a smirk.

“My clothes! My hair! My make up!—“ Selena chokes in horrified rage and then suddenly flings herself at Lucy Hale!

Lucy manages to catch Selena in mid-air, but the enraged LCA girl’s momentum sends them both crashing to the floor out of sight behind the speakers table.

The reporters rush to the stage trying to see what is happening. They can hear Lucy and Selena screaming luridly at each other, the ripping of cloth can be made out amid the sounds of close-in fighting and then suddenly both appear, their tops have now been torn off leaving the petite fighters grappling chest to chest in only their bras (black for Lucy, purple for Selena) while also trying to pull each other’s hair out. Then they both apparently slip on the water-covered stage and go crashing down out of sight again. The impact is hard and a silence settles in.

This lull allows Security to get onto the stage and pull the young ladies apart. Both look like they have had the wind knocked out of them by the fall and aside from a few kicks, allow themselves to be removed the room without further conflict. Spokespersons for Foxfire and Lioness Club of American soon reassure fans that both fighters are “fine” and ready for more refined fighting in the ring.

The fight of the fight finds Selena Gomez in a red with gold trim bikini, red gloves and boots with gold lacing. Her hair is in a simple ponytail. Lucy Hale has on pink bikini top with black bikini bottoms (across the front and back of the bottoms in pink lettering are lightning bolts forming a V shape flanked by the words HALE STORM). Lucy sporting in her new bobbed hair is letting it hang loose for the evening. Young fighters are glaring at each and referee has to be very stern in his instructions. The two slam their gloves instead of just touching which nearly sets off a row and referee sternly lectures both before sending them to their respective corners to await the opening bell.

R1: Lucy Hale heads right for Selena Gomez clearly intending to knock Selena’s block off (or at least dent it some), but Selena greets her with a quick jab to the mouth and follow-up uppercut to the chin. Lucy comes to a stunned halt as the impacts have her brain spinning. Just what Selena wanted as she drives hooks into Lucy’s tummy and then swats one-two’s off her jaws. Then another digging hook but to Lucy’s breast line followed by straight rights and lefts to mash Lucy’s tender breasts in their cups. Lucy falling back in confusion as Selena gleefully pursues eager to batter the PLP fighter as much as she can. Lucy cuts Selena’s fun short by a quick step to the right and driving a hook of her own into Selena’s solar plexus. Selena’s turn to look stunned as she leans forward in shock. Lucy going after Selena’s chin now with uppercuts to make Selena’s ponytail dance, but then Selena manages to retreat out of range long enough to catch her breath and then come back in. Fierce close-in punching with not m,much defense other than counter-punching. Lucy gets her head knocked around, while Selena’s breasts get pummeled by a vengeful Lucy. Stays even for about a minute, but then Selena’s head shots get Lucy looking confused and sluggish. She has little choice but to fall back and try to get her jab going, though she’s not able to keep Selena off her completely. Selena dominates in final moments and takes the round.

R2: Selena just swabbing Lucy’s face to get her guard up and then sinks her hooks into Lucy’s belly and ribs. Lucy trying to back out and keep her jab going, but she is not keeping Selena’s punches off. Selena varying her attack with shots to body and face, she’s got Lucy lumped up to the face with nasty red splotches over her bruised midsection and sides. Lucy legs keeping her up, but she’s not doing enough to keep in this round. Another mouth wiping right crops splits Lucy’s lips at the bell and leave her looking shell-shocked as Selena salts this round away wide.

R3: Lucy’s face is looking grim for so early in the bout, but her eyes start flashing as she glares at Selena from her stool. Selena can’t resist a scornful wave and this draws an upraised right gloved fist from angry Lucy. Selena just grins nastily, clearly trying to goad the PLP fighter, but Lucy keeps her temper in check once she is off her stool at the bell. Selena comes roaring in evidently hoping to drive Lucy back to the ropes, but Lucy has her jab up and it gives Selena’s face a painful shelling. Selena recoils in some confusion. Lucy driving in and giving Selena hard shots to the midsection. Selena dropping back further, but then swings around and catches Lucy from the side. Lucy smote hard to the right side ribs, throws an overhand right aimed at Selena’s head, but it misses and Selena counters with a straight right to the mouth. Lucy’s swollen lips split again and she is knocked back. Selena gathers herself and then goes after Lucy. The momentary delay gives Lucy the chance to have her jab ready and there is a savage exchange that sees both fighter’s heads swiveled by strong punches. Both fighters look dazed, but return for more. Selena gradually manages to get in more punches and forces a sullen Lucy to retreat. Allows Selena to take her third straight round, but it’s close this time.

R4: Selena and Lucy clash at midring almost as soon as the bell rounds. Arms are churning as they get toe to toe and shell each other mainly to the body for a full minute. Lucy then slips an uppercut into Selena’s chin to break the body war and it sends a tremor through Selena’s body. Lucy sees the impact and goes after Selena’s head. Selena ducking down behind her gloves gets her forehead and the upper side of her head knocked around. Selena finally makes a quick ducking move to get Lucy to miss over the top and then comes up hooking into Lucy’s midsection. Lucy grunting but clips Selena on the temple and makes the LCA flyweight legs shake. Selena circles away from Lucy and lashes back to keep PLP fighter off her. Lucy chasing, but can’t corner Selena to the bell. However Lucy does manage to win her first round, though Selena able to keep it close.

R5: Lucy not letting Selena get away from her this time. She pounds Selena’s midsection to bend her over and then hooks up into her face. Selena’s face starting to lump and redden especially around the eyes from Lucy’s punching. Selena obliged to hide her face behind her gloves, but that just gives Lucy the chance to bust belly and Selena’s tummy is roasted by furious plowing hooks and uppercuts. Selena dancing back, but her legs looking shaky and Lucy not giving her much breathing space. Late in the round, Lucy’s punching slows and allows Selena to get back on cards with some stubborn jabbing. Lucy’s head knocked back and she gets cautious, but still working Selena to the body when she’s unable to pierce Selena’s high guard. Still, Lucy wins the round wide and Selena’s looking just as battered Lucy did a couple of rounds earlier. Lucy smiles with grim satisfaction.

R6: LCA corner crew work hard on Selena during the break, but she is looking unsteady on her legs as she stands up. Lucy marches on Selena and makes a feint at her face. Selena immediately raises her gloves to her face and Lucy goes churning her gloves into Selena’s wide-open middle. Selena shuddering her these impacts backs up quickly, but Lucy moving to cut off the ring. Selena trying to evade the ropes, but Lucy herds who to the strands. Selena bent over face in gloves gets her sides and head pounded before she resorts to clinching to break up Lucy’s momentum. Lucy just waits and drives Selena right back to the ropes. Selena rides the storm out but she is rubbery legged going back to her corner as Lucy scores a shutout win.

R7: Selena off her stool with a sickly look on her face. She seems to have trouble keeping her mitts up as Lucy rolls towards. Selena does get her jab going and making Lucy suffer for coming forward, but Lucy seems to ignore the impacts. Instead, she can see Selena’s upper guard faltering and bangs her way through. Selena gets shots to both eyes and gets her jaws swatted from both sides. Then as Selena’s globes sink to chest level, it is her chin that comes under unrelenting Lucy Hale uppercutting power as she is pushed back to the ropes. SELENA GOMEZ IS DOWN! Selena’s legs suddenly give out and she collapses onto her face, her left arm ends up dangling over the bottom rope. Lucy goes to neutral corner as Selena desperately uses the ropes to pull herself up. Selena beats the count and makes a courageous effort in convincing a dubious referee to let her continue. Courageous move, but probably not a wise one as Lucy Hale charges right back at Selena, driving her along the ropes with smashing lefts and rights to the face as Selena’s guard goes down completely. Selena taking a fearful pasting AND THE REFEREE JUMPS IN! Lucy steps back as Selena just melts into the referee’s protective grasp.

The Winner: Lucy Hale TKO7!

After: Lucy Hale leaps into the air as she realizes she has defeated the Pretty Little Puncher nemesis. Sasha Pieterse, Shay Mitchell, Danielle Campbell and Leah Pipes all crowding around to congratulate Lucy. Lucy grinning as her gloves her removed, has her eye on the LCA corner and soon is over there to drag Selena to her feet for a close inspection.

“You are going to have two big fat black eyes,” Lucy gloats, “and the rest of the bruises should actually be an improvement for your looks.”

“Very funny,” Selena mumbles defiantly.

“Let’s get everyone a good look at you,” Lucy says, getting a firm grasp on Selena’s left bicep to drag her out on a walk of shame.

Selena tries to be stoic, but when Lucy stops, grasps Selena’s chin and forces her to turn towards the picture snapping fans to display her swollen face, she bursts into tears. Lucy seems heartless in continuing to march the heartbroken Selena around the ring.

“I warned you to watch your mouth,” Lucy says releasing Selena at the end of the walk “You brought this on yourself.”

“I hate you!” Selena says with real feeling.

“I’ll remember that fondly,” Lucy says with a smirk.

Later, Selena (wearing designer dark glasses) tells press: “I hope everyone realizes now what a nasty piece of work Lucy Hale really is. She is cruel, vicious and I will be avenged! You hear that Lucy Hale? I will be avenged!”

Lucy Hale just laughs: “What can I say? She’s a cry-baby. I have exposed that about her and naturally she hates me for it. I am not losing a minute’s sleep over her. I’m looking to my next fight and moving up the ranks of the Flyweight Division. Selena can obsess on the past, I’m focusing on the future!”

Very nice win for Lucy Hale over a very dangerous opponent in Selena Gomez. Selena down and humiliated tonight, but there can be no doubt the Flyweight Division (and Lucy Hale) have not heard the last of her in 2015.
