BEFORE:

"Things didn't go well last month," says Katrina with a shake of the head. "I got caught by a good fighter. It happens. But, I'm better than I showed, and tonight I'l show I'm better!"

"She IS better than she looked against Torv last month," says Leelee with a nod. "Anna can make you look a lot worse than you are. The bad news for Katrina is, so can I."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside, and that's 'Miss Jackson' by Panic! At The Disco, and here comes the stunning Katrina Bowden..."

McCarthy: "I have no idea why Weirdo keeps trotting this loser out against his best fighters. Torv and Sobieski should be fighting on pay-per-views for titles, not in this backwater against girls like Bowden, with one FCBA win!"

Tess: "Philadelphia is the fifth-largest city in the country, and also one of the most historically important cities in the hemisphere. It's hardly a backwater..."

McCarthy: "It's no Chicago, I'll tell you that..."

O'Dell(sighing): "Bowden into the ring and helped off with the robe to reveal that pink and purple striped two-piece that shows off a body that makes you understand why she was once named the hottest woman alive..."

McCarthy: "Back, when, apparently, people believed an internet death rumor about ME..."

Cassie: "I believe the headline was 'McCarthy Brain Dead'...and it was no rumor..."

McCarthy: "SOMETHING is going to be dead in about five seconds..."

O'Dell: "Now, calm down, Mac, because that's 'Uprising' by Muse, and here comes 'The Polish Princess', LeeleeSobieski!"

McCarthy: "And, as I've said before, Sobieski is one of Weirdo's two REAL fighters!"

O'Dell: "Sobieski down the aisle, taps glove to fist with J-Mac on the way by, and climbs inside to be helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve. As usual, Leelee in a black two piece for the festivities. Ladies about ready. Let's get some picks. Tess favors Sobieski. Mac?"

McCarthy: "No question about it."

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess."

O'Dell: "It's unanimous. Let's see if our ladies are right. Sobieski forward off the bell, wants to work that heavy 'Front Street Jab'. Bowden firing back, wants to hold canvas..."

McCarthy: "This kid does NOT want to hold canvas. She can NOT stand in front of Sobieski...not for LONG, anyway."

O'Dell: "Leelee BANGING out that left hand, following with rights, backing Bowden up. Katrina firing back, but getting out-gunned here. Leelee squaring her and getting off with the big guns. Bowden forced back to the ropes, covering up now..."

Cassie: "Katrina needs to get moving here. Has to use the legs. We've seen her box and box well, but she needs space..."

O'Dell: "And Leelee not giving her any. Sobieski banging body now, keeping Bowden pinned to the ropes, not exactly teeing off, but getting off with both hands. Bowden firing back in spots, landing the odd good counter, but that's about all she can do. It's Sobieski bell to bell."

Tess: "Only a 10-9 round, but that was not a good round for Bowden from any angle."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second starts with Katrina on her horse now..."

McCarthy: "That's a little smarter. I'm not sure WHAT this kid was thinking in the first."

O'Dell: "Right now, she's thinking stick and move, and she's doing it pretty well. Leelee stalking, using the left hand and walking forward behind it. Bowden, though, staying off center now and staying at gunnery range as well..."

Tess: "Bowden very rangy. She's giving up a little reach to Leelee, but not much. She can use those feet to get to a spot, get off a quick flurry, and get out of Dodge before Leelee can bring the heavy guns to bear."

O'Dell: "And, that's exactly what she's doing. Bowden getting off first most of the time, keeping the exchanges short. Sobieski landing some hard shots, but not able to put together the big flurries she managed in the first round. And look at this! Katrina with a shuffle and a bounce backward out of range as the final seconds tick off. Bowden dances all the way back to her corner after a solid second round."

Cassie: "She's tied it at 19."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Into the third and Bowden all about the dance right now. She's circling, reversing, bouncing forward and back. She's got the guard up high, presenting Leelee a moving target. Sobieski patient. Working to match footwork and square Katrina up..."

McCarthy: "Leelee moves very well for a welter. She's one of the best boxers in the division as well. But, she's giving up quickness to Bowden, and Katrina's using that advantage now."

O'Dell: "Indeed, she is. Bowden smart and sound with all the movement, too. She's not just moving, she's varying the motion, in and out, side to side, keeping off center, getting to a spot, landing a couple of quick punches, then bouncing away..."

Cassie: "This kind of quickness wouldn't only be effective against a welter. There are a lot of lights who'd hae a problem with what Katrina's showing right now."

O'Dell: "Sobieski resolute. Keeps stalking, looking for opportunities to square behind the jab, but not finding many. Bowden's here and gone, there and back here. This is good stuff from the beautiful blonde, who's getting into a pretty good rhythm as we reach the bell ending round three."

Tess: "29-28 for Bowden after three."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "We begin the fourth the same way we ended the third. Bowden in a good rhythm, bouncin' and misbehavin'..."

Cassie: "You know, you should trademark that line, Jenny. Put it on t-shirts and hats and such. You could make some coin..."

McCarthy: "Who on EARTH would buy a shirt that said 'Bouncin' and Misbehavin' across the chest?"

Tess: "Wait for it..."

Cassie: "We only have four more fights..."

O'Dell(sighing): "Let's concentrate on the ring, shall we? Because what we're seeing in there is some excellent work by Katrina Bowden. She's staying in motion, continuing the hit-and-run tactics that have worked so well for her in the last couple of rounds."

McCarthy: "Leelee staying very patient. She's not getting sloppy here. That's one of the many advantages of being a veteran. You don't press and get out of what you want to do."

O'Dell: "And she's absolutely not doing that. She's continuing to pressure, walk forward behind the big left hand. She's landing in spots, but only in spots, as Katrina continues to be a difficult target to hit. Bowden not really committing on anything, but she IS landing, scoring well in her short, crisp flurries before slipping away to open space. Five seconds left in the fourth. Bowden using those dancing shoes right to the bell. Three in a row, ladies."

Tess: "39-37 now in Katrina's favor."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Fifth begins with more effective movement from Bowden. Sobieski turning up the heat a bit, though. Leelee working forward more aggressively, cutting down angles and cutting the ring, squaring up and getting that big left hand on target."

McCarthy: "Willing to eat the odd jab to do that, and it's a good trade. Sobieski getting Bowden lined up for the first time since the opening round."

O'Dell: "And she's making no mistake when she does it. Landing solid shot with both hands. Left BANGING out, stopping Katrina, holding her in place for the hard right hands that follow. Bowden getting barrelled up in a big way as Leelee backs her up, slowly taking canvas and sending her back toward the ropes."

Cassie: "Katrina doing a good job of staying off the ropes, but she's getting touched up right now..."

O'Dell: "AND SHE GETS ROCKED BY A RIGHT HAND! Sobieski a big straight right and Bowden wobbled! Katrina covering up now as Leelee bangs away. Bowden finally backed into the ropes in the final seconds of the round. Sobieski thumping her with both hands. Katrina leaning back into the ropes in a high guard as the fifth ticks away. And there's the bell. Wide round for Sobieski."

Tess: "And it's now a one-point lead for Katrina, 48-47."

ROUND SIX:

O'Dell: "Sixth begins with Sobieski on the hunt. She's looking to follow up on last round, and Bowden knows it. Katrina continuing to show good movement, working the feet to stay off square and create space..."

Tess: "Seems to have recovered pretty well from taking a lot of heavy leather last round. The legs are definitely back."

O'Dell: "No doubt about it. Sobieski still working behind the left, closing to shorten the angles, looking to cut the ring down and engage. Leelee eats a SOLID right and ANSWERS WITH A LEFT HOOK THAT ROCKS BOWDEN! Katrina staggered and DOWN SHE GOES!"

Cassie: "Straight right hand at the end of that flurry..."

McCarthy: "And she BURIED it."

O'Dell: "Bowden on her back. Count at three. Four. Five. Six. Katrina rolls to her belly. Eight. Nine. TEN! It's over! Bowden can't get off the deck and your winner by KO6 is 'The Polish Princess', Leelee Sobieski!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Leelee Sobieski, and, Leelee, you saw a lot of movement tonight..."

Leelee: "Not surprised, Tess. She's very athletic. Moves better than most big girls, but so do I. Took me some time to adjust to it, but I knew I would."

Tess: "What's next for you?"

Leelee: "All depends what the front office comes up with. Whatever name they pull, I'm ok with it."
