 Taylor Cole (5'9”, 31, 36-30-2 ) vs Jennifer Lawrence (5'7”, 24, W-L-D=15-7-1)

 by Lookout & simgrrl

The winner of this fight “may get a shot at '50 Shades Gray' starlet Dakota Johnson (5'10”).” We all know what such promises are worth....that and $2.50, will getcha a cuppa java!
* *
Before: Cole lost a decision to Lawrence in October and if she wants to stay in the discussion about a shot at the lightweight crown, she can't let it happen again! The winner of this fight will certainly be a top ten contender and (at least) part of any about a title shot. Lawrence's record not as substantial as Cole (who has twice as many fights) but J-Law's winning percentage is higher and Jen has fought enough ranked fighters. J-Law looks like the real deal, but facing a wily, hard-hitting, experienced, fighter twice in a short period is a recipe for disaster. Cole analyzed video of Lawrence and has made the necessary adjustments ahead of this rematch. What Lawrence has going for her is a former undefeated world champion head trainer. It's not as good as knowing it yourself, but if you're smart and listen to the experienced voices, that can take you a long way in this business.
“Cole's an up-and-downer,” one scribe explained. “She can beat almost anyone they put in front of her in one year (see 2011 & 2013) but the next year, she wouldn't beat her dog if he peed on her shoes (see 2012 & 2014). Is a puzzlement! But you gotta know; if she was good enough to do it in '11 and '13, there's no reason she shouldn't be able to do it in '15. Trouble is, does Taylor believe in herself?”
Lawrence coming in the stronger, heavier; Cole the more experienced - and possibly the more motivated! A loss by Lawrence won't hurt Jen's career arc long-term; but a 2nd loss to J-Law could derail Cole's stables' plans for her in the future. So the pressure on Cole must be intense.
Lawrence, coming off an Oscar win, loosening up quite a bit...showing her more 'mature' side - her fighting togs have definitely gotten smaller as her career has exploded. Her lime green thong bikini leaves little to the imagination, but goes well with her shoulder length, auburn tinged, blond hair. Cole opting for a “full coverage” bikini top and boy-cut shorts. Both with white gloves, black shoes.

During R1: Taylor aggressive. In the first fight, Cole ceded the initiative to Lawrence, losing the first two rounds and digging herself a hole she couldn't climb out of. Tonight is different! Cole launching punches from all angles, bamboozling the youthful blonde who, time and again, is rocked back on her heels by the brunette onslaught! Taylor targeting the youthful (baby fat, some say) J-Law body, digging her knuckles into the paunch; coming up under her juicy, junior-deb, C-cups; turning over to smack chubby cheeks. First two minutes are all about Taylor Cole teaching a clinic in how to beat Jen Lawrence! Then, like in the first fight, Lawrence makes adjustments; switching things up; making subtle little changes. Suddenly, things get easier....not EZ...but easy-ER! At the bell, a wind-blown Lawrence's butt gets a clapping SPANK from a jazzed Cole before she saunters back to her stool. Lawrence rubbing her butt with her left hand, holds up her right arm, cocked at the elbow, glove raised. There's no digits in boxing gloves, but we can speculate about which solitary, up-thrust digit, we MAY have otherwise seen.

R2: It's a different J-Law this round. Jen putting her weight on Cole in the clinches, using her youthful vigor to circle, pik-pak-pecking Cole apart from long range. Totally different fight when Lawrence is dictating pace. Cole wrong-footed often, looking left when J-Law's throwing right - and vice versa! Only edge Cole has is in the clinch, wrapping up Lawrence, bludgeoning her body in tight. Cole's right hand driving in under Jen's left elbow particularly effective - just as it was against Lawrence's stablemate, Theron! J-Law, unable to get space to extend on her punches, reduced to chopping little side-arm blows at Cole's ribs and flanks. Cole, pulling Lawrence's head down, coming up inside with the right under her bra. Most muffled by the fleshy ledge of Lawrence's boobage, though her wincing shows she's not particularly grateful for their protection. Cole unable to land a really telling blow this round, so Lawrence's continual aggression convinces the judges to give her a narrow 1-point edge that evens the round score at one all.

R3: Lawrence accepts she's going to have to endure Cole's “up close and personal” approach to her body. Taylor snuggling up to Lawrence's nubile body; mugging it with short, hard, hooks to the torso and belly. Lawrence punished for much of the round, but the few times she's able to push off, she lands a combination or two before Cole reels her back in to pound puppies and paunch. Late, Cole up-tempos, working the old 'back and forth shoe-shine' of J-Law's soft, pink, puppies when Lawrence comes up the middle with an uppercut that buckles Cole's limber legs! Cole forced to hang on, giving J-Law an opening to throw four or five unanswered punches just before the bell. As so often happens, judges go with the girl who leaves the best impression and, this round, that was Lawrence.

R4: Cole's corner yapping at her. After a splendid opening round, Cole has back-slid into old habits, letting her opponent dictate pace. This round, Taylor looks like “old King Cole” - the gal who whipped Peregrym, Theron and Regan - back-to-back-to-back - in her undefeated year of 2013! Lawrence all bouncy and jiggly, fooling around, giving Cole the old 'dipsy-do' instead of tending to her knitting. She goes to the well once too often and pays the price! DOWN GOES J-LAW! Lawrence with a sloppy, lazy, left, leaves it out there and Cole comes over the top with her right to the J-jaw, dropping J-Law on her J-butt for J-eight count! Jen up wobbly, groping toward Cole for support. Taylor gliding back, pop-pop-popping those sweet puppies; never letting J-Law set her feet or get her breath. Cole taking her time, using the left to set Lawrence up for that same 'vintage 2013' right that won those fights with Peregrym, Theron and Regan! LAWRENCE IS HURT AGAIN! Left hook to the bellybutton buckles blond legs, Jen wrapping her arms around Cole's neck, dragging her down as Lawrence almost goes to her knees, then pulls herself back up and waltzes around with Cole belly to belly. 'Dancing With The Stars' judge Julianne Hough at ringside scribbles on her program, holds up her score, awarding the team of Cole-Lawrence a “9.0” - presumably for their waltz? Big round for Taylor Cole puts her neck-and-neck with J-Law (and possibly on the short list for the 2016 season of DWTS).

R5: Cole getting 'Big Girl” on Lawrence this round. J-Law's not used to having her butt kicked (“It's not in the script” she might whine). Maybe Cole got re-write pages Lawrence didn't - or perhaps left in her trailer - because they seem to be reading different pages of the script this round! Lawrence trying to re-establish her basic, conservative (left-left-right) approach, while Taylor Cole all-in on a “whatever works” attack. 'As long as Lawrence is standing right there in front of me,' Cole figures, 'Wha d' hay; I might as well hit her!' For the most part, it works just fine! Lawrence's left side (i.e., her left breast) throbbing, so she's leaving her jab a bit short. Without concern for J-Law's left, Cole tee's off with her right, pounding it in under Lawrence's left elbow, smashing that wounded puppy black and blue! Jen with tears in her eyes, left elbow cuddled protectively to her heaving bosom, head bowed behind ear-muffing gloves, gives up her lats to protect her aching puppies from Cole's rampaging gloves. No big single punch; no knockdown; no nuttin' this round...unless you like to see Cole ripping into Lawrence's soft middle like chocoholic MILF with a Whitman's Sampler on Valentine's Day (or maybe a kid at Halloween!)

R6: More of the same. What's better than a Primanti Bros., Pitts-burger? Cole on a roll! Taylor bouncing excitedly on her toes, Lawrence trudging forward like a woman going to an execution - hers! Cole slaps Jen in the face with a left, and as she recoils, Taylor lunges forward to plunge a straight right into Jen's already reddened cleavage. Jen squeaks as she crouches, arms crossed at her chest, then as she straightens up, she tilts backward; moon-walking her butt clear to the ropes! Cole, grinning, closes in and cocks her right hand. SHE'S HURT! SHE'S HURT! SHE'S DOWN! HOLY COW! Lawrence closing her eyes blindly lashing out with a right that takes Cole flush on the chin! Taylor's legs buckle as she's canted forward, arms dropping to her sides. Jen, recovering, unleashing a picture-perfect short left to the side of Taylor's unprotected jaw. Cole veering left, crashing to the canvas on her left shoulder, doing a slow roll onto her back. Referee, as shocked and stunned as anyone, hesitates, then grabbing Lawrence, pulls her to a neutral corner, leaving Cole rocking from side to side, her feet bicycling as she tries to get up.
The ref picking up the count as Cole rolls onto her right side, her head down, crawling on all fours.
The count continued as Cole reached the ropes with her right hand, lost her grip and dropped back to her hands and knees.
The count went on as Cole tried again to use the ropes to haul herself to her feet.
The count winding down as Cole got to one knee.
Then just as the referee said, “NINE!”... Cole's other knee lifted off the mat.
She leaned on the ropes, automatically lifting her gloves to her face. The referee wiped her gloves and asked, “What day is it?”
Cole responded, “The day I kick Lawrence's butt across the ring. Outta my way, ref!”
(Good enough for government work.)
Cole lumbered forward. Lawrence still standing in the far corner, waiting.
When Taylor Cole arrived, J-Law snapped a jab in her face and slipped away behind it, circling to her left, quick-stepping away. Cole turned slowly to chase after Lawrence who didn't show any inclination to engage and kept backing up behind 'peek-a-boo' gloves.
It wasn't until Lawrence's corner (Sharon Stone) started hammering the mat with her palm to count down the final seconds that J-Law reversed course and went at Cole. They traded combos mid-ring - Cole's left smushing J-Law's nose flat, her right sailing high and wide over J-Law's left shoulder. Jen's left short again, but a straight right landed flush. Rocked, Cole tilted backward, arms windmilling, trying to stay on her feet. Jen stepped with, and as the bell rang, was winding up to swing but the referee wrapped her in his arms to stop it. Late knockdown does just enough to win the round for J-Law, but both women are hurting. It's still anybody's fight!

R7: Cole bleeding from a swelling, cut, lip; Lawrence's face relatively unmarked, but her pale, freckled chest is bright red where Cole's gloves have had a field day, plundering her treasure chest for six hard rounds. J-Law stubbornly sticking to that robotic jab-jab-cross offense; Cole timing it and just as Jen throws her right cross, Cole beats her to the bra with her own right hand. Twice...three...four times in the firsts two minutes Cole does the same thing; pressing Lawrence back until her butt is stuffed between the ropes. Lawrence bent over behind her gloves as Cole puts her left on Lawrence's forehead to lift her head, pushing her back on the top rope, then slams her right down on J-Law's chest! J-Law's legs buckle and she wraps her arms around Cole's chest, clinching yet again. Cole drags Lawrence, cheek-to-cheek, to the middle of the ring, then shrugs her off and lines her up for another right! Again, J-Law throws herself at Cole, bearhugging her bosom-to-bosom. Cole thumping Lawrence in the ribs, working her gloves in between them, slowly prying Lawrence's embrace apart. Suddenly, Jennifer brings her left up inside, catching Taylor flat-footed! The uppercut connects with Cole's chin and the brunette beauty is shaken! Now Cole is the one trying to clinch! Lawrence straight arms her, then comes a sweeping right cross - seemingly out of left field - smashing onto the side of Taylor Cole's jaw. As Cole recoils back, J-Law moves with her, tossing a weak left that glances high off Cole's forehead, not doing any damage but keeping her moving backward. Lawrence loads up the right hand and drives it straight from the shoulder into the mouth of Taylor Cole, re-opening the cut lip and snapping her head. Reaching back, Jennifer gives Taylor another right, this one busting open Cole's nose, sending blood gushing down her chin! Cole dangling loose-limbed in the ropes, left elbow hooked over the top rope the only thing keeping her up. The referee sees Lawrence draw back again and, with nothing showing in Cole's eyes, jumps in to stop Lawrence at 2:43 of the round with the beautiful brunette bloodied and out on her feet!
Lawrence pulls away from the referee, then collapses into Cole, arms around Taylor's neck, both of their weight supported by the middle rope aided by Lawrence's hands grasping the top rope to hold her up. J-Law sways belly-to-belly with Cole, each with her head resting on the others shoulder; Cole's blood running down into the valley of Lawrence's swollen, throbbing, aching, battered, breasts; mixing with the sweat to continue downward, staining the front of her lime green thong a coppery crimson.
Jen Lawrence has won what may be the fight of her young career; dragged out into the deep water by the shark Taylor Cole - and surviving...if only barely. Winner: Jennifer Lawrence by KO7.

Both women aided from the ring, Cole laid on a gurney as a precaution, then wheeled to her dressing room for a medical exam. Lawrence, one arm draped over the shoulder of Janet Jones, supported on the other side by omni-present The Academy medical resident, Nurse Sunny McKay who puts an arm around Lawrence's waist, holding the waist of her thong in a clenched fist as J-Law minces tenderly up the aisle toward her dressing room; trying not to take any deep breaths.

Later: “I had her all the way,” Lawrence joked as she stepped to the microphone with tensor bandages criss-crossing her upper body, holding cold packs to her chest and left side ribs. “That gal hits like a sledge hammer. I don't know what it was about my boobs, but she couldn't get enough of them. I know she did the same thing to Charlize, but really....aren't mine better looking?” she winced in pain when she tried to raise her arms and turn show off her figure.
“Listen, this was one of the best fighters I've faced in the FCBA, and I'm not ashamed to admit I was probably lucky to escape in one piece. I've been battered before, and I'll likely be again, but - and this is no disrespect to Strahovski or anyone else - THAT is the hardest I've been hit so far. I can't understand why Taylor isn't ranked number one or two, but I'm not looking forward to fighting any woman who's ranked higher than her after what she put me through.”
Asked, “Who's next?” Lawrence did the usual, “My management” dance and ducked.
Someone asked her about Hough's scoring of their “waltz”; giving it a nine oh and Jen looked surprised.
“Really? A nine oh? That's terrific! They haven't called me. Maybe I should call them, ya think? Now I think about it, I probably should've after 'Silver Linings Playbook'....I took those dancing lessons.”

Taylor Cole appeared after Lawrence, looking a lot better then then she had being carried from the ring. She was, understandably, downcast. “I thought I had the fight in the bag in the fifth and sixth rounds,” she sighed. “But that's what happens if you take something for granted. I got careless. She had the guts and mental capacity to react.” She shrugged, “She probably threw the only punch she could have to turn the fight around for her. I give her credit; most gals taking that kind of punishment would've folded, put their tits in their gym bag, and taken 'em home to put on ice after a beating like I gave hers. I know one of her stable mates, who shall remain nameless, couldn't have stood up under that kind of breast-beating. But, unlike most, Lawrence kept fighting. I had a lot of respect for her before, but it only increased tonight. She's beaten me twice now, so don't write this result off as luck or some fluke. She's good, very tough.”
Asked, “After two loses, do you think you could beat her if you fought again?”
Cole laughed. “Of course I think I could beat her. I don't think there's a woman in the FCBA I don't think I could beat....but some are harder to beat than others. I'll be back in the ring in a month or two, facing some other top contender. A year or two from now, there's a good chance me and Jen will meet again. Every time you fight somebody, you learn a little more about them. Next time, when the fight ends, she'll be laying at my feet...her black and blue tits pointing up...unless they're so badly beaten they lose elasticity and are sagging under her armpits. Because one thing I learned about Lawrence tonight - you can get to her cans, and when you do, you gotta kill 'em! Let her think about that until we meet again!”
As Taylor Cole so graphically put it, this “thing” between them almost certainly isn't over! They're two of the best lightweights in the FCBA and while Cole is 5-6 years older, she's still not close to her prime, so it's almost a sure thing they'll face each other again; hopefully for fans, more than once. With a little luck, we could be seeing at the start of another “Bell-Theron” kind of rivalry! It sure sounds like Cole has taken a page from Bell's book...proving she knows how to get into Lawrence's bra. And judging by her parting shot, Cole also knows how to get into the girl's head, too!
