BEFORE:

"Sure, I'm excited to be making my FCBA debut," says Ellie with a smile. "And I'm even more excited to be doing it against a contender like Allison. I can fight at the top level in the FCBA, and tonight I'll prove it."

"Can't underestimate this girl," Allison says with a nod. "She's sturdy and she's got a few fights under her belt in the UK. She's no pushover. But. As the saying goes, there are plenty of girls in the FCBA she can beat, but I'm not one of them."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's..."

McCarthy: "I LIKE that song..."

O'Dell: "'Lights' you hear behind us..."

McCarthy(singing): "You know the lights that pop around Emma Stonnnnnne..."

Cassie: "Dogs are howling in Cleveland right now..."

McCarthy(still singing): "Shut up, Scabbo, you too, Walmarrrrttttt..."

O'Dell(sighing): "Drink up, boys, and drink in the singer of that song, the lovely Ellie Goulding, as she's helped off with the robe to reveal a white number trimmed in black and a solid, in-shape body..."

McCarthy(still singing): "Not enough curves to be a Playmate but not baaadddd...."

Oh, the shark, babe
Has such teeth, dear

Cassie(singing to the tune of the new song): "Here's where Mac says...'Unbelievable'..."

McCarthy: "Well it is! She stole my gimmick AND my song..."

Tess(singing): "Here's where I explain that Wiz BOUGHT the rights..."

O'Dell: "And here's where I point out that this isn't a MUSICAL! So, let's stop singing and concentrate on the ring, where, Allison 'Mack The Knife' Mack is climbing in in that black robe with the gleaming silver knife on it, one drop of blood dripping from the tip. She's helped off with the robe to reveal the familiar blood red bikini..."

McCarthy: "And a body that couldn't get her in 'Good Housekeeping', let alone 'Playboy'!"

O'Dell: "Ladies about ready. Let's get some picks. Tess favors Allison. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Goulding's won some fights in the UK. She can beat 'Mack The Fraud'!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "There's the bell. Mack forward immediately, wants to engage in close and Goulding ready to play that game. Both fighters digging body in the early going. Mack leaning in, shouldering Ellie back to get a bit of room to pound that midsection."

Tess: "Saw the Goulding video from the BBU, of course, and this is a style she likes. She likes to get in close and bang, and she has the power, the build, and the legs to do it..."

O'Dell: "But, this is also exactly what Mack likes to do, and you've got to wonder if Goulding can stand in front of Allison all night and survive this fight, let alone win it. Right now, she's hanging in there, digging body with Mack. Allison slicker, moving Ellie around with those shoulders..."

Cassie: "Mack getting Goulding off balance in there, opening her up."

O'Dell: "No question about it, Cassie. Mack using all the tricks of the trade of inside boxing on the less-experienced Goulding and to good effect. Allison getting much more leather home despite Ellie's game efforts. Final seconds ticking off and there's the bell. Mack from start to finish but both girls got plenty of body work done."

McCarthy: "'Fraud' 10-9 after one."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Back at it in the second, and right back to the same terms, in close, thumping body, Allison Mack terms. And it's Allison who's getting into rhythm in there. Short hooks to the flanks, little uppercuts to the midsection..."

McCarthy: "Referee needs to WATCH her. She'll go low. Mack The Fraud can't be trusted..."

Tess: "Says the trainer of Gena Lee Nolin..."

McCarthy: "What are you IMPLYING, Walmart?"

Tess: "I'm not implying anything. I'm SAYING, as I've said before, that Nolin is the dirtiest fighter in the FCBA..."

McCarthy: "You've LOST it, Walmart..."

O'Dell(sighing): "Mack working those shoulders, bumping Ellie, forcing her to step back, creating room for Mack's punches and balance issues for Goulding. Ellie working hard, banging back, almost all to the body just like Mack, but Allison getting much more done..."

Cassie: "I just can't see these terms working for Ellie. At this point in her career, she's not going to out-Allison Mack Allison Mack."

O'Dell: "Not at the moment, anyway. Mack in control, working up a little more now, backing Goulding up with short hooks. Ellie forced to cover up as Mack gets some serious flurries going down the stretch. Goulding clinching now, trying to slow Mack down as the final seconds evaporate. Bell to end the second. Mack again."

Tess: "And Allison's built the 20-18 lead."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Third begins with Mack again working inside. Goulding immediately tying her up now, wrestling around with Allison in there. Mack trying to punch free, not able to do it. Referee going to break them apart. Mack steps right back in and Ellie ties her up again..."

McCarthy: "Well, Goulding and her corner have decided to change tactics a bit."

O'Dell: "Definitely have, and Mack not happy about it. Allison trying to shove off or punch free, but having no luck. Goulding keeping her wrapped up until the referee breaks the two apart. Ellie then jabbing and slide stepping, making Allison work to get forward, then immediately tying her up again."

Tess: "I was going to say I was waiting for a headlock, but Ellie just tied up the head..."

Cassie: "Two things may be at work here. First, Goulding trying to slow Mack down. Second, it take a lot more energy to fight out of these ties than it does to wrap your opponent up..."

O'Dell: "Good point, Cassie. But, whatever the thinking, Goulding clearly plans to continue with these tactics. She's wasting no time grappling with Allison every time she gets into range. Mack working hard to free her arms and work some body, but she's mostly unable to do that. Five seconds left. Referee breaks again and there's the bell. Ellie's round."

McCarthy: "Agreed. She scored enough on Mack's way in to claim it. 29-28 now."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Fourth begins with more grappling. Mack determined to work inside, and Ellie determined not to allow it. Goulding wrapping up the arms, wrapping around the head, not just slowing Allison's inside offense, all but stopping it..."

Tess: "Got to wonder if we'll see a third consecutive Front Street fighter step outside her normal style and make an adjustment..."

McCarthy: "Mack's a one-trick pony! She's not like ME. She can't do it all in there..."

Cassie: "She CAN, however, do enough to STARCH you twice..."

McCarthy: "I'd been FIGHTING ALL NIGHT AGAINST AN ALL-STAR TEAM...AND THE SECOND TIME WAS A LUCKY PUNCH!"

O'Dell(sighing): "Goulding showing more movement on the breaks now. Stepping backward, circling a little, doing all she can to make Mack work to get forward..."

McCarthy: "Gives her more time to score..."

O'Dell: "That it does, and, after she's landed a punch or two and Mack slips forward, Ellie ties again. Allison chopping ribs with a free hand, trying to shove off or punch clear, but Goulding showing plenty of strength in there, able to hang on and force resets again and again. Final thirty seconds. Mack now circling a little, making Ellie turn. Ducking forward, lands one good body shot before being tied up again. Goulding wrapping around the head and there's the bell. Not a thing of beauty, but Ellie wins it..."

Tess: "And has tied the fight at 38."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Fifth underway and Mack making with the left hand. Allison not working forward in a high guard now. Instead she's working at mid-rang with the jab, using it to set up right hands. Goulding holding ground, firing back and getting BACKED UP by a good flurry from Allison..."

Cassie: "And, for the third consecutive fight, we're seeing a Front Streeter make an adjustment and step away from what she usually does."

O'Dell: "We are, indeed, though Mack's a good boxer and has shown that ability many times in the past. Allison moving the feet, sliding right away from power, ducking the head, jab-stepping forward, getting off another good flurry. Goulding counters and gets backed up AGAIN by a solid left hand..."

Tess: "Mack squaring Ellie up in a big way right now..."

O'Dell: "No question about it. Mack range finding with the left, then landing heavy with the right hand. Allison all about the upstairs now, virtually ignoring the body after spending so much time on it in the first four rounds. Goulding almost completely on the defensive now, backing up, covering up, getting touched up right to the bell. Big round for Mack."

McCarthy: "Still only 48-47 after five, though. Anybody's fight."

ROUND SIX:

O'Dell: "Sixth round now and Mack still wants to box. Allison bouncing on the balls of her feet now, looking a little like ANOTHER fighter with the name 'Mac The Knife'..."

McCarthy: "If she were a THOUSAND times hotter, maybe..."

O'Dell: "Allison jabbing, creating openings for the right hand and then BANGING it home. Ellie taking some heavy shot here, but those sturdy legs shipping it. The Brit working in counter, landing a good shot of her own here and there, but Mack fighting lead and taking control of this fight. Ellie backed up by a good flurry and SENT WOBBLING INTO THE ROPES BY A RIGHT HAND..."

Tess: "Straight right and Goulding's HURT!"

O'Dell: "And Mack knows it! Allison in seek-and-destroy mode STAGGERS Ellie with a left! Goulding stumbles and IS DROPPED BY THE RIGHT HOOK!"

Cassie(singing): "Turn out the lights. The party's ovvverrrr..."

O'Dell: "Ellie on her right side parallel to the ropes. Count at three. Four. Five. Six. Seven. Goulding not moving. Eight. Nine. TEN! IT'S OVER! The count passes Ellie by, and your winner by KO6 is Allison 'Mack The Knife' Mack!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Allison Mack, and 'Knife', she kind of took you out of your game for a while there..."

Allison(nodding): "She's very strong, Tess. And pretty smart, too. She realized she couldn't fight inside with me, so she started clinching and just bogged me down and made me change things up some."

Tess: "I'd ask what's next for you, but I think I know the answer..."

Allison: "I'm available if Silk wants to dance. If not, maybe Ms. Silicone 1990 down there wants another beating..."
