(Beever's Babes, BBU Debut) vs Independent)

Rachel makes her debut tonight against an Italian girl who was part of Latin Union until recently, but who was dropped after a long period of inactivity.

Debutante Rachel is already in the ring in her bright blue vest, knickers and microskirt, with white gloves and boots, joined swiftly by Miriam in her yellow bikini and gloves, with black boots.

Round 1

Rachel looks a little timid, which is understandable, and Miriam’s taking advantage of that, thudding some heavy jabs into the blonde’s face from the start, and already Rachel’s sporting the start of a bruise on her right cheek, such is the Italian girls’ accuracy, and Rachel’s paying the penalty here for fighting a girl who’s always boxed at welterweight so far, and the brunette’s really handing it out to Rachel here, slams her backwards, the Brit gasping as her back hits the corner post, and again when the girl hits her in the belly with her left glove, but she avoids the attempted right hook to her face which follows, and hits Miriam good and hard in her right armpit, then swats her jaw with her own right hook, and ends the round in better shape than it looked like she might, although Miriam’s won the round.

Round 2

Miriam’s not looking too happy, and she’s not really holding her right arm properly, clearly in some pain from that armpit shot, which has stopped her from fighting as she would wish.  And Rachel’s taking advantage of the bigger girl’s discomfort, as she sweeps some neat hooks into her body, Miriam now keeping that right arm low – too low it would seem – because the blonde girl’s starting to land left hand punches in her face as the round progresses, and these punches are beginning to affect Miriam, the model trying to protect herself, but finding it tough, as Rachel digs a right hook into her body before left hooking her face twice more, and this has been a good round for the blonde, but she may suffer later if Miriam’s injury proves to be temporary.

Round 3

There’s no sign of Miriam recovering from her damaged arm/ribs yet, as she takes a rifling pair of punches from Rachel, the blonde girl on her toes and agile, looking a good propect here at lightweight against a now almost static Miriam Leone, who doesn’t really look like she wants to carry on much longer, Rachel concentrating on punishing her with her left hook, and it’s working well for her as Miriam just shuts up shop, keeping her elbows tucked in, Rachel not making the mistake of throwing random punches though, and she’s unpicked the Italian’s defence with two lovely right uppercuts, banging Miriam’s head up and back, the brunette on rubber legs after that, and Rachel gives her another uppercut – left this time – and she’s put Miriam down with that, the model rolling over and getting up at 6, but she’s spitting blood as the pretty blonde TV presenter works on her again in a neutral corner up to the bell.

Round 4

Miriam’s looking slow again, not throwing any punches at Rachel as the blonde gives her another pair of hooks to the face, sending the model backwards again, backing into, and laying on the ropes, where Rachel lifts her head up again with one of those uppercuts, and Miriam’s just not offering anything back, the referee looking hard at her eyes, and he’s stopped the fight – if that’s what it was after Miriam suffered that injury.

Result:  Rachel Riley stopped Miriam Leone in round 4.

That fight turned on an injury – although Miriam seems to be moving her arm reasonably well after the fight, and maybe this is why Latin Union released her – she doesn’t have the stomach for a battle.  Is Rachel any good?  We’ll have to find out when she enters the ring again next time, with Holly Willoughby being touted as a possible opponent.
