These girls fought back in March 2012, when Fearne easily knocked Nadine out in 5, but the Irish girl’s been on a good run lately (spare the Girls Aloud in-house brawl versus Cheryl Cole from which she's thankfully recovered just in time to make this card), whereas Fearne hasn’t fought since being beaten by Jenna Coleman in March 2013, and could have chosen an easier fight as her first back in the ring.

Nadine’s keen, and she’s first into the ring, bouncing up and down in her silver bikini, with white gloves and boots, glaring at Fearne when she joins her in a black bikini, gloves and boots.

Round 1

Nadine’s moving well, the singer very quick and nimble these days, and she’s also found a bit of a punch to go with her agility of late, which she’ll need if she’s going to extend her winning run. And she’s landing some neat jabs on Fearne Cotton in the early stages of this fight, gives her a swift jab, cross, jab combination as well there, and it’s clear that Fearne’s a little ring rusty tonight, her movements lacking precision, and almost clumsy by comparison, missing with a lunging left hook, a grinning Nadine Coyle connecting with two punches of her own in return, the singer growing in confidence, but she makes the mistake of trading punches with the blonde, who takes her chance to hit Nadine hard with two clubbing right hooks, and now, with the Irish girl static and backed into the ropes, she knocks her around a bit, Nadine covering as best she can, but she’s eating leather by the close of the round, her face already a little red after absorbing that punishment.

Round 2

Fearne’s still shaking off the ringrust, not really as accurate as she could be with her glovework, missing Nadine with a left, and she takes a pair of jabs to her own face in return, can’t quite get her right cross on Nadine’s jaw, and she gets caught again with the singer’s quick combinations, before she starts to push Nadine around, sending her backwards after hitting her in the ribs, and with the Irish girl static again, she can start stabbing her face with jabs, but Nadine’s not looking all that hurt by the shots he’s taking, and she’s fighting back, although keeping her face covered, she’s restricting herself to bodypunches, trying to drain Fearne, testing her out to see if she’s got the stamina to last if this fight goes nearer the distance.

Round 3

The action’s starting to warm a little further, with Fearne looking fairly bubbly, clipping Nadine with a good left hand, with the singer thudding away at her body, the blonde girl taking far more punishment than she can have expected so far, but both girls are throwing punches, this time each of them going for each other’s face with jab, hook movement but Nadine’s back inside Fearne, ripping her right hook into the blonde’s body, and it seems like she’s starting to weaken Fearne with this body punching, the TV presenter, gradually being forced backwards, and she can’t just get her punches to land on Nadine, who’s looking good now, helping herself to give a fairly stationary Fearne Cotton a sweet little combination of punches around her eyes just as the round ends, Fearne wincing and blowing hard.

Round 4

Once again there’s a crisp little exchange, and Fearne got her straight punches past Nadine’s defensive gloves, with Nadine going for a more lateral, hooking approach, and she caught Fearne with her left hook, and that’s set the blonde into reverse, with Nadine really punishing her now, avidly working her over on the ropes, those punches crashing into Fearne’s body, the sweat dripping from Nadine’s gorgeous face as she puts in a major amount of work, and all Fearne can seem to to is try to clinch, but she’s looking in trouble now, ceratinly not at her best tonight, as she lays back against the ropes groaning and gasping, her guard starting to drop as Nadine just hits her anywhere she likes, still sticking to her plan of weakening the blonde, though.

Round 5

Nadine’s circling Fearne, and she snaps off a couple of jabs at the blonde’s face, but has to take a couple of decent hits back, and that has Nadine going backwards, and Fearne’s rallying in this round, suddenly looking more like her old self, and she gives Nadine a couple of good shots with her right, but the Irish girl has taken those well, and maybe there wasn’t much in them, because she’s quickly fighting back again, sends Fearne backwards with a smart little uppercut, and now she’s just pummelling Fearne’s body, the blonde girl stuck in a neutral corner, where Nadine’s giving her yet more work to the midsection and ribcage, Fearne looking really weak now, well softened up by the Irish singer.

Round 6

Fearne’s come off her stool doing her best to look frisky, but Nadine’s got her on the rack now, gets another good hook into her body, gives her a swift and stunning jab, cross, jab combination to the face, and Fearne’s wobbling, hits her with another hook to the midsection, then unloads on her face again, and Fearne’s down. The blonde girl looks exhausted, starts to get up, but she can’t force her body off the canvas, and it’s over!

Result: Nadine Coyle knocked Fearne Cotton out in round 6.

That’s revenge in full for Nadine Coyle, and she’s just loving the adulation she’s receiving these days, and she’s really looking to get stuck into the Little Mix girls, with Leigh Anne Pinnock featuring high on her agenda. If Fearne wants to fight again, and she surely will, there are plenty of girls who will be more than willing to face her, although she’s better than she showed in this fight when she’s fully match-fit.
